03/09/2025: A refined place with a cozy atmosphere. Excellent service, very friendly waitress. Wonderful food with elegant and beautiful presentation. We tried the Fagottini and Ravioli Gobbi dishes, and for dessert, the Tarte and the Coffee, please! Everything was delicious! I highly recommend it!

12/05/2025: Beautiful bar, very nice room, kind girl (Elena?)... I'm not giving a fifth star because I didn't like the coffee but, I think it's fair to say, it was early and the fact that the machine had only recently been turned on is a factor.

16/09/2025: Domenico is not only serious and professional, but also very attentive and precise, even to the most complex requests. Every pizza he makes is exquisite, but if I may venture a guess, I'd recommend two things: - 1: The gourmet pizza of the month, they're all delicious and incredibly satisfying. - 2: If, like me, you love the perfect balance between sweet and savory, try his Gorgo e Pere... I ask for it plain and with less mozzarella, but with plenty of the two aforementioned ingredients. The result? A gastronomic spectacle, and if my stomach wasn't limited, I'd eat three at a time!!! Thank you, Domenico!!

28/09/2025: My wife and I stumbled upon it by chance and had a wonderful time. Excellent coffee, extraordinary date and hazelnut cake, friendly and welcoming staff. I wish there were places like this in our area! Highly recommended!

02/05/2025: Location caratteristica situata nel centro storico di Castagnole L sotto i portici multicolore con vista sullo sconfinato panorama della valle . Personale gentilissimo molto accogliente e famigliare Ottimi piatti della tradizione piemontese. Originali i ravioli al plin con essenza di lavanda. Da gustare i taiarin al ragù di tre carni. Ottimi i dolci. Sicuramente da provare se passate da quelle parti. Lo consiglio.

20/07/2025: For dinner to celebrate my birthday, I chose this place reviewed by Raspelli, expecting something extra, but... that something is much less. We start with the table set with paper placemats, like butcher's rugs, paper cutlery and napkins, and water glasses, one of which is visibly chipped. They took our order, specifying that we should be very careful because I'm allergic to rabbit, which is part of the evening's menu. Overall, the quality of the food is good, but the service is a little less so. There must have been problems in the kitchen, because for a dish that included prawns, they kept bringing out salmon slices with orange juice (but why not tell the waiters that the prawns are no longer available?). The place is also a wine bar. We order a glass of ruche and are given the dregs of a bottle. At the start of the evening at 8:00 PM, providing the dregs of a bottle that had been opened who knows when doesn't exactly look good. Price: €70 for two appetizers, a first course, a second course, a tiny dessert, a glass of wine, and a bottle of water. The indoor location is the ricetto, while the outdoor area is a section of the piazza used as an outdoor terrace. I'll leave that up to you to decide.

15/07/2025: The restaurant is located in a small town with parking nearby. The outdoor seating is lovely, but the interior is also very stylishly decorated. The staff is very friendly. The well-stocked menu and wine selections are well explained. The food is freshly prepared and tastes exceptionally delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Small snacks are always served with the aperitifs. Excellent value for money.

28/10/2025: Amazing - 10E for 3 course Lunch - not bad in this day & age ??

26/10/2025: Looking for a place in Asti where we could eat well without spending too much, we found this osteria and booked for lunch today. Let me start by saying that even though we were in the early sitting and there was a line outside to get in, they didn't rush us or pressure us to eat quickly and clear the table; instead, they respected our time, which is not always the case. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We ordered four Palio menus, which consisted of a meat or seafood appetizer, a first course, and dessert, including water, for €20. What more can I say? From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious and high-quality, and the courses weren't just "tastes" but the right amount. The price was fair. A place to return to when in Asti. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

13/09/2025: I stayed at this property for an afternoon at the spa. What can I say? It was immaculately maintained and incredibly relaxing. Truly a gem! The outdoor pool (not heated, but even today, with the overcast sky, it was lovely) has a spectacular view of the Monferrato hills. End the day with a lovely aperitif in the garden. Everything was perfect!

11/09/2025: In general it is a nice hotel with a great restaurant. But there is still room for improvement. The location is a bit off from the hotspots but super quiet with a nice view, garden and architecture. The pool area is nice but one can tell that the adjacent rooms are to be modernized when compared to the stylish hotel and restaurant itself. The wine list is impressive and you should have ld definitely try their own wines. We grabbed a few for our collection at home. The staff is nice, the service super attentive and welcoming. They try to fix everything thar might arise. We stayed a week and enjoyed it a lot. It is also a great place for trips to Asti, Novara, Torino and more. The restaurant has a great quality of products and is super nice interior-wise. The rooms are a bit small, but they have almost everything you need. But there are a few things that we missed or did not like that much. For starters, they had shampoo etc. but no conditioner. That would be an easy win. The air conditioning is a bit weird as you cannot really get below 21 degrees celcius and it seemed to reset to some sort of default settings. This lead to a rather warm climate. Moreover, our air conditioning was pointed towards the bed so we felt the air all the time in bed. Not the ideal setup in my opinion. Another thing we noticed was that the pillows were not ideal. You could put two on top of each other, which would make them to high or only use one which was too low. I know that this is personal preference, but compared to other hotel beds this felt like a miss. On thing we noticed rather late was that our mosquito net at the window was broken at the bottom, which caused an influx of insects unfortunately. And our shower glass wall had a little defect - probably some guest smashed it against a wall or shower hose as the handling requires a bit of "training". The gym is also nice even though finding it wasn't that obvious - maybe set up some signage? And a desinfactant spray or tissue was missing plus a proper indoor bike. The bar has a lot of potential, which I hope the owners see and will lake use of soon. The Internet needs some improvement, but it was working most of the time. The spa is small but nice, but I can imagine that in bad weather or winter the space light be too small for all hotel guest plus day spa guests. But we enjoyed the stay, the warmth and professionalism and if we ever come. Back to the region we will for sure drop in and say hi.

05/08/2025: Sono stata in questo agriturismo per festeggiare il mio compleanno. Tutto è stato all'altezza della situazione, dal cibo ottimo e abbondante, alla gentilezza, disponibilità e cortesia di tutti i camerieri , sempre pronti a non far mancare nulla sulla tavola e a dimostrarsi presenti in ogni singola richiesta. L'abbondanza del cibo è superlativa, purtroppo non sono riuscita ad assaggiare tutto ma la vista è stata ampiamente appagata. La qualità è ottima e la presentazione dei piatti non è neppure lontanamente paragonabile ad altri. Ad oggi non sono riuscita a trovare nessun altro agriturismo/ristorante che possa essere al pari di questo. Un grazie sincero a tutti Voi per aver contribuito a farmi trascorrere insieme alla mia famiglia una festa di compleanno che non ha precedenti.

12/09/2025: A wonderful surprise! Excellent cuisine combined with courtesy and friendliness are the hallmarks of Agriturismo La Tartufaia. Five stars for food, service, and ambiance.

31/08/2025: Delicious food. We had a set menu of local specialties with several courses, including water and wine. Friendly service, who also spoke English. Booking in advance is recommended (busy and limited space). Good value for money. Entrance via stairs or the back door ;)

10/08/2025: Enchanting location. Well-kept grounds, tastefully decorated dining room. Traditional, generous, and delicious buffet. The dinner dishes are simple, home-style in the truest sense of the word.

16/08/2025: I got two takeout pizzas from this place. The service was fast (a 15-minute wait on a Saturday night with other people inside was more than reasonable). The pizza was delicious, light, and the owners were very kind. I'll definitely be back 😊
