22/12/2024: We ate very well in this small restaurant where it is difficult to find a seat... starters (Russian salad, pumpkin flan with fondue and white truffle, artichoke crepes and, for carnivores, peppers in bagna cauda and raw meat), first course ( tagliolini with mushrooms and black truffle) second course (very tasty red cabbage with red wine stew, always for those who ate it). The desserts also lived up to expectations, nougat semifreddo with hot chocolate and, above all, a superlative hazelnut cake. Barbera del Monferrato a little lively and very pleasant. Friendly and attentive service. All for 40 euros per person, willingly spent!

26/10/2024: Family-run farmhouse with few seats and an open kitchen door where you can literally see what they are preparing. Fixed menu 35 euros, water and wine included. Really very good home cooking with an almost guaranteed encore.

25/12/2024: Small welcoming bar, just like the very nice owner, who organizes events such as themed evenings or karaoke. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor area and offers average prices. Good aperitif. Special note for the owner's beautiful cat, the true master of the place, who adds a touch of friendliness to the atmosphere!

01/03/2025: Excellent food, well cooked and very well looked after. Mr. Giorgio, who serves the tables, is very friendly, empathetic, polite and respectful. He explains the dishes and is ready to suggest choices. Three menus for three different tastes; seafood, land and vegetarian menus. Possibly, rather than à la carte, tasting menus are available for both tastes. Let me start by saying that these are not the usual tasting menus where small portions are served. At 'L Gòj the tasting menus are made from normal quantities. A good cellar and possibly bulk wine. Very good desserts. Here we are at the bill. After everything I said above one would expect who knows what amount. Well, that's not the case. The prices are average, indeed I dare say, even less. The invitation is to try it yourself. The large car park, adjacent to the venue, helps you not go crazy trying to figure out where to leave your car. Private and enjoy your meal!

11/02/2025: Trip to Monferrato, dinner at the Bandini restaurant, a remote and almost timeless place (this is a positive note). The food was good, perhaps I was expecting something more from the wine list given the wonderful (open) bottles displayed in the entrance hall. Professional and kind service. Must try again!

02/02/2025: Ogni volta che torno al Ristorante Bandini rimango positivamente sorpreso: sorpreso dalla tranquillità che il locale emana , dal servizio attento e professionale che accompagna gli avventori e dalla cucina. I piatti sono principalmente quelli della tradizione sempre però con una firma , un tratto distintivo che rendono ogni portata personale sia questa una battuta di fassona o degli agnolotti o un frittino di cervella con giardiniera. Quando ci si allontana dalla tradizione della cucina del Monferrato il menù prevede chicche come ad esempio la tartare di ombrina affumicata con contorno di verdure: imperdibile… La cantina ha proposte interessanti e basterà chiedere al personale di sala per essere consigliati o avere informazioni utili per la scelta Un angolo speciale di Monferrato

08/02/2025: Conosciamo il locale da una decina di anni. Impeccabile col cibo espressione di ottima cucina Piemontese. Cantina scelta di aziende agricole del territorio incluso Langhe. Pecca con arroganza nel servizio secondo il criterio che il cliente ha sempre torto. Dopo aver prenotato con largo anticipo un tavolo da 8, ci siamo trovati due tavoli rotondi affiancati che non hanno favorito né la conversazione né la Convivialita’.Nemmeno una scusa per l’inconveniente segnalato dopo aver pagato il conto.

04/02/2025: Pranzo della domenica in questo ottimo ristorante a Montegrosso. Sicuramente da tornarci quando si potrà mangiare sul bel dehor esterno. Eravamo in 6 e abbiamo preso il menù degustazione. Tutto molto buono. Due antipasti, 1 primo, secondo e dolce. La faraona all'arancia veramente eccezionale. Amaro offerto alla fine. Servizio veloce nonostante una grande tavolata dietro di noi. Rapporto qualità prezzo notevole. Abbiamo speso poco più di 40 euro a testa, compreso una bottiglia di Pico Maccario e una di Renato Ratti... Lo consiglio vivamente.
