05/04/2026: It's definitely the best sandwich shop in Rome! The flavors are so varied, both classic and creative, that you'll be spoiled for choice. They're beautifully filled, unlike many other places that only put the filling near the edges so the customer can see it. Top-quality ingredients, all at a good price and topped off with friendly service, always with a smile!

17/08/2026: Today we had lunch at this charming restaurant located in the Vallerana hamlet, about 2 km from the center of Acqui Terme. It offers traditional Piedmontese cuisine, but also features several off-menu items, including fish. The atmosphere is pleasant (during this time of year, you can dine under a beautiful pergola that provides some shelter from the summer heat), the staff are very friendly, and the service is prompt. After choosing a wine, an excellent Nizza "Monburio" 2023 from Vincenzo Amerio in Moasca (AT), which paired perfectly with the dishes, we began with the Piedmontese Fassona tartare and the mixed antipasto (veal with tuna sauce, filet baciato, Roccaverano robiola, and Russian salad), both very good. We then continued with tagliolini with black truffle (a whopping 15 grams grated!) and the fantastic agnolotti del plin with butter, sage, and hazelnuts (the best I've ever eaten in my life!). Finally, two excellent desserts: blackberry panna cotta and rose cake with vanilla ice cream. A bottle of water and two coffees rounded out a truly excellent lunch, bringing the final bill to €105.50 for two, which is absolutely reasonable considering the deliciousness of the dishes and the excellent quality of the ingredients used. Highly recommended; we can't wait to return! Well done!

08/07/2026: Very welcoming place. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The typical Piedmontese food was delicious, with a special mention for the braised beef, which melted in your mouth! A pleasant discovery.

03/06/2026: I was in Acqui on vacation and stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. It's reminiscent of a typical mountain hut and offers a wide variety of cuisine, catering to everyone's tastes. The staff is highly qualified and welcoming, kind, prompt, and available to provide any explanation or answer any questions. The price is excellent for the quality of the products and the deliciousness of the dishes. I will definitely be back.

03/06/2026: My family and I often come to Cittu Bai and are never disappointed. Excellent food and attentive, friendly service. The pizza and cheese-filled focaccia with figs are delicious! Greetings to all the staff.

19/08/2026: A very respectable restaurant in the city center, not what you might think of as a tourist trap. Excellent service from young but competent staff and a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Excellent food, high quality and generous in quantity; when you get up, if you get up, you'll be left with no room in your stomach. The half-point is for the heat, which isn't really the restaurant's fault, but if you suffer through it, it detracts from the perfect experience.

03/05/2026: A charming place on the first floor, in the loggia next to the cathedral. Excellent menu, both fixed and à la carte, at fair prices and very good dishes. Eight of us tried the house appetizer, plin, roast beef, veal with tuna sauce, and rabbit. All the dishes were inviting, flavorful, and delicious! The entire service was accompanied by an appetizer or welcome drink and a sampling of sweet treats after coffee. For our sweet guests, we tried the coffee millefeuille. Everything was delicious!

10/07/2026: The atmosphere is spacious and spotlessly clean. The service is quick, and the pizzas, made with Manitoba flour, have a delicious flavor that lasts until the last bite. Don't miss their delicious 'panissa'. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. It's my favorite pizzeria, even compared to those in Milan and the surrounding area. Pizza and beer for less than €15.

05/08/2026: I ate here with my girlfriend last week. It was amazing. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner was engaging, and the food was delicious for a fair price. Be sure to let them pour the wine themselves. You won't be disappointed. In the autumn/winter, the interior is also beautiful. So we will definitely be back.
