25/09/2025: We have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience.
20/09/2025: Food without seasoning, salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar was not offered. The size of the dishes could have easily been served as an appetizer. Three waiters milled around, but no one asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. It was very expensive by far, and we expected better.

01/01/2026: We didn't get the welcome aperitif as I was told, I'm talking about New Year's Eve dinner, from one course to the next, it took over 45 minutes, too many people, the music was so loud that the tables on the dance floor were constantly vibrating, intense smoke was blowing out, the air was unbreathable to be able to dance, there were 8 of us, 6 slices of panettone and we paid for coffee and water, very disappointed
06/09/2025: We went to this restaurant last night. The place is lovely, right on the beach, and the staff was very kind. It's a shame we didn't have a good meal: the pizza was burnt, the tiramisu and the pistachio dessert weren't good at all. What a shame.

05/01/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean place. We had lunch and the food was good. Service was quick. It's a shame we were at a table near the door, and I was cold because the door was constantly being opened due to the crowds.

01/03/2026: If you book through the app, they'll call you so you don't pay commissions from the website, offering to offer you an aperitif in exchange for the trouble. This is unverifiable, as they don't issue receipts if you pay in cash at this place.
The food is okay, the service excellent and friendly,
however, the billing experience is somewhat embarrassing. The alleged owner asks you to pay in cash and that they don't issue separate bills, much less via POS, constantly complaining about excessive commissions.
I feel sorry for the staff, who will definitely only be paid off the books. Avoid.

02/02/2026: Pleasant, youthful atmosphere in an old tavern. The cicchetti were delicious, making up for a long wait for a very disappointing and, to top it all, cold fried fish. It's a shame that expectations were dashed.

11/07/2025: Visitamos Casa Fortuni a finales de marzo por recomendación y fue genial. El restaurante está un poco escondido y no está en la plaza principal, pero vale la pena encontrarlo. El lugar está muy bien decorado y el personal es amable.
La comida era estupenda: fresca, sabrosa y algunos platos eran diferentes a lo que habíamos probado antes. La especialidad son los pequeños cangrejos a la parrilla, llamados moeche, definitivamente recomendable. Tuvimos suerte de que fuera temporada. Como entrantes comimos unos calamares pequeños y un tartar de ternera que estaban buenísimos. De postre, por supuesto, tiramisú: jugoso y cremoso, como debe ser. ¡Muy recomendable!

04/01/2026: The quality of the fish is good, but the price is decidedly high. We made the mistake of not requesting the menu, and the restaurant made the mistake of not providing one, limiting itself to verbally announcing the dishes. Service was very slow; almost three hours for seven appetizers seems a bit excessive. Finally, the receipt lists a single €225 item (for three people) for appetizers, without any details on the cost of individual dishes, which doesn't appear particularly professional. We recommend greater transparency in communication and pricing.
30/12/2025: I went for Christmas lunch with my family, and even though it was practically packed, the food was always well-prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is rustic but refined. It's a lovely Christmas time, and you can find wonderful decorations, especially the enormous tree.

20/06/2025: Oggi abbiamo visitato Chioggia e ci siamo trovati all’Osteria Penzo. Non avevamo prenotato ma i gestori sono riusciti a trovarci un posticino. Abbiamo mangiato i cicchetti come antipasto, gnocchetti buonissimi con vongole, radicchio e cipolla ed un’ottimo fritto.Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, gestori molto cortesi.
19/06/2025: Ich hatte eine schöne Zeit in Chioggia und der Abend in dieser feinen Osteria bei Mario war das i- Tüpfelchen. Das Essen hervorragend! Der Service freundlich! Und obwohl man reservieren muss, bekommt man das Gefühl der einzige und beste Gast zu sein! Hier bekommt man gute Laune und verlässt das Lokal mit einem Lächeln. Vielen Dank, Mario!

26/10/2025: We went for lunch today. We ordered pizza, a hamburger, and a steak.
The food was delicious, the hamburger meat was very good. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pizza was really good! The service was very friendly. The place is also nice and well-maintained, and the bathroom is clean.
The only downside was that we found a hair in my husband's meal. We reported it to the staff, and the meal was immediately replaced. I thought we'd get something credited to our account, a free dessert, or a free coffee. Unfortunately, no.
26/10/2025: Quiet evening, Saturday in late October, not crowded.
The waiter was unsuitable; he forgot the order, and when we called him back after half an hour to at least get a drink, he became threatening, as if he'd received the worst insult imaginable.
After an hour of waiting, we reordered because there was no sign of the first order. The waiter was once again rude, with manners unbecoming of his job.
I credit my co-workers, who were serving the nearby tables, with better manners, traceable orders, and shorter wait times.
Food: Mediocre pizza, terrible fried food, a nightmare.
Terrible evening.

29/01/2026: I heard about Ai Casoni through a local sleuth because we were looking for a high-quality restaurant away from the tourist crowds and wanted a nice table by the water. I called and got a reservation for the same evening. The fish and desserts were truly outstanding! We would definitely come back!
