07/03/2026: We just spent 8 days at Ai Mori d'Oriente and could not speak more positively about our experience. The rooms and common areas are all comfortable and keept immaculately clean. Ai Mori has something of the warm and cozy feel of a boutique hotel, despite the elegant decor. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They made us feel at home. The location is what I would like to underscore, above and beyond all the other positive values. Located in the Cannaregio district on a small canal, the hotel facilitated our immersion into a Venice I could not have imagined: morning and late evening walks with few people and no tourists on the streets. Iconic canal views without the hordes and their selfies. Venetian families walking their children to school in the morning. Children playing in the open "campi." If what you want is to roll out of your bed and descend into the masses streaming along the Strada Nova from the train station to Rialto and on to Saint Mark's this is not for you. If you want a quiet and beautiful setting, a window onto what is left of Venetian Venice and the peace that will allow you do reflect on all this, I highly recommend this hotel. One final note: this peace and beauty come with a tradeoff. You will need to walk 20-25 minutes or you will need to ride the vaporetto up and down the grand canal if you plan to visit the major tourist sites. Although this may not be optimal for all, for us, it was a plus. I was able to take zillions of pictures of Venice's major palaces and canal life and gained a fairly deep and broad knowledge of Venice's urban grid, geography, and architecture. And we heard a wonderful amount of Venetian dialect!

05/03/2026: Lovely hotel with amazing staff and affordable prices.It's in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful restaurants nearby, but a little far from the main attractions, which was nice because it allows for a quiet place to decompress. This was my second time staying here and would definitely come again. Close to Madonna sel' Orto stop on Alilaguna for access to airport, Murano, etc. staff organizes free trips to Murano for glass blowing experience.

09/03/2026: A truly delightful dinner. The kitchen employs some very talented young chefs, creating carefully crafted dishes with well-balanced flavors. We tried several dishes: fried octopus tentacles on a mustard and honey emulsion, Luciana-style red octopus on a chickpea cream and fried polenta crostini, a mix of local cuttlefish and grilled calamari with salad, and baked trout fillet on a pumpkin cream. Everything was truly excellent, generous portions, and great attention to food pairings. The initial welcome was also appreciated. The young woman in the dining room was very kind and discreet, with a smile that immediately put you at ease. We didn't try the desserts (maybe next time), perhaps a little more interaction or a more personalized service would have been appreciated. One area that could be improved is the wine list, which, given the quality of the cuisine, deserves a few more options and a wider variety. The atmosphere is pleasant, but I would like it to be a little warmer and more personalized, as it currently feels a bit sterile. That said, the prices are fair, the food is truly excellent, and there's great potential. With these foundations, it has all the makings of a truly top-notch restaurant. It's made me want to come back, and I will. 🍽️✨

04/03/2026: We went to Quantum last night for a 50th birthday party! Simply spectacular!! The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable! The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant! The food was excellent, from the presentation to the flavors! We were thrilled and left very satisfied!! Keep it up, guys, and even though you're very young, you have a great future ahead of you!! 02/03/2026: I had squid ink pasta and seafood pasta. The portions were generous and very delicious! At the end of the meal, I received a Venice magnet. The magnet was also cute, and I was excited until the time I left. I'm glad I came to this restaurant! If you're still undecided, I highly recommend giving it a try!

The food was delicious, and the seafood filling was plentiful, which was great. When we paid the bill, they gave us a cute magnet as a souvenir. Both our hearts and stomachs were full, and we felt great.

04/03/2026: Marco was incredibly friendly and cute! The seafood risotto was thoughtfully prepared; they even removed the shells, so you could taste the seafood in every bite 👍🏻 The salad was fantastic, the shrimp were so fresh and sweet! Thumbs up 👍🏻 Italy's number one 🤣

30/11/2025: The prices are unbeatable, the food quality was excellent and the service and atmosphere were great. We had the house made pizzas and soup, topped up with the house wine. Everything was perfect, I would recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. They also have a really nice view of the Palazzo Ducale, accross the water. We will definitely not forget it and will be returning. Thank you for having us!

19/11/2025: A lovely little restaurant away from the usual tourist crowds. The view, especially at sunset, is fantastic. It's certainly not a gourmet temple, but that's not the point; it's a nice little corner restaurant like you can find in any city. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

15/11/2025: Three different meals were picked up from a restaurant/pizzeria on two separate days without pre-ordering. The food was prepared quickly and very tastyally by a full team, despite the restaurant being packed.

23/02/2026: I've known this place for a long time. I've brought family, friends, and colleagues, and we've always been satisfied. Whether you're in the area or, like us, often visit Carole, don't waste your money on places in the historic center. They've all changed management. For years now, they've been run by unprofessional staff, with poor quality, catering to Nordic tourists, and, alas, inexperienced...unfortunately. Take a trip to Eden; the excellent quality, professional, friendly service make this historic place the best in the area. Try it, and like us, you'll definitely return. A special thanks to the young waitress, who is much more than just a waitress; her knowledge and courtesy have become rare. I speak as a staff manager. Well done 👍 💪

16/01/2026: I went last Saturday, and while prices have increased by 20%, neither the quantity nor the quality have improved. I suffered from the cold in the room, and the dessert was a warmed-up cookie with cream, not what I expected. I strongly advise against it.

12/01/2026: My partner and I had lunch yesterday, spending €170 for two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two glasses of wine, and two coffees. The appetizers were good, though a bit pricey for the portions. The pasta with lobster and black truffle was definitely tasty, but the price of €35 per dish is quite high. Unfortunately, the fried food was a huge disappointment: very heavy, the vegetables greasy, and the calamari hard and dry. The service didn't live up to the bill: the wine was poured into our glasses without being tasted first, the bread wasn't brought back to the table once it was finished, and the coffees arrived incorrectly. Overall, the quality was good but not commensurate with the prices, and the service could be more attentive, especially considering the restaurant's price range. For the same price, or for a little extra, you can definitely eat better at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

11/03/2026: If you want to eat like a god in Mestre, there's no other option. Mariano's. Excellent quality. Dishes are always seasonal; don't miss the wild boar ravioli or the legendary risotto di gó. The most flavorful cured meats, the freshest fried fish, or baked fish with potatoes. Here, Veneto doesn't speak, it sings!!!! 😍

05/03/2026: I returned to Mariano's after more than a year, and I have to say...I need to come more often! The dishes offered are traditional Venetian dishes, with top-notch quality. The appetizers of the day and the risotto di gò are fabulous...a must-try! The atmosphere and ambiance at Mariano's are authentic, and the staff is unsurpassed in both kindness and speed of service. Special mention goes to a truly exceptional waitress who adds that extra touch to everything, which was already excellent! Super, I'll be back very soon!
