From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was incredible all homemade, traditional Tuscan recipes that were clearly prepared with love and care. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, from the fresh pasta to the slow-cooked sauces and rustic desserts. It felt like being invited into a local family’s kitchen. What made the experience even more special was the atmosphere cozy, welcoming, and full of character. You can really feel the passion behind everything they do. If you’re in Florence and want to experience genuine local food and the warmth of a true Italian family, don’t miss this place. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

03/01/2026: Highly recommended for lunch near the Strozzi Palace and the Uffizi Gallery. Excellent pasta, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Home-style, family-run food. The tagliatelle with pesto was wonderful, and the gnocchi with tomato sauce was also very good. We didn't take pictures of the main courses, but we thoroughly enjoyed them. Prices are typical for the area; not cheap, but not expensive either. Perhaps the best value for money we found in our four days in Florence. We were there a few days ago and didn't want to miss the opportunity to write a review. Thank you.

04/02/2026: On the recommendation of a friend, I ate at this delightful restaurant. The welcome was excellent, and the menu was beautiful on a blackboard. The vegan carbonara was tasty, plentiful, and creamy. A common feature of all the dishes we tried was their truly delicious flavor. The vegan coconut dessert was a real treat. Truly delicious. Thank you!

03/02/2026: Delicious food, you can taste the quality ingredients. Great for those new to vegan cuisine, very balanced dishes (generous portions, but you finish them all!!!). Very serene, relaxing, and well-kept space. Superb service, everyone is very nice, they explain everything to you (if you want) without being intrusive. I recommend the vegan carbonara (better than the classic one and lighter) and the seitan with vegetables. Oh, and the falafel... nothing like the ones at the supermarket 💕 Prices aren't affordable for everyone, but they're worth it! It was truly a treat. We'll be back!!

10/01/2026: I've lived in Florence for 17 years. Honestly, I've never eaten fish this good. Served, cooked, delivered, etc., a 10 with honors and not much. I'd give them a star. I haven't eaten like this even at Riva di Mare. Guys, hang in there, you're number 1.

08/12/2025: I love lychee and when I read reviews of their unique lychee cocktail, I needed to stop by for a drink. It didn’t disappoint. The staff were so welcoming and the actual aesthetics of the bar were very cool.

19/11/2025: I finally tried this gem. What can I say? A very intimate and refined place. Amazing cocktails (I tried three, and the menu is an experience). The guys were super friendly. The icing on the cake was the impromptu music evening! Simply fantastic ❤️

Perfect for a romantic dinner or a party with friends. And if you need a place for your event, absolutely!

20/10/2025: I found myself in this place for an organized wedding, the staff were kind and helpful as bread, enchanting place, movie-like atmosphere, I highly recommend it to anyone, you made me spend one of the best evenings I've ever been out, compliments also to the chefs.

02/12/2025: We went to the Testina restaurant and had a truly wonderful meal. Ivan, the owner, immediately makes you feel at ease thanks to his friendliness and the passion he puts into his work. The quality of the fish is excellent, and the meticulous selection of ingredients is evident. The dishes are highly refined, both in their preparation and flavor, meticulously crafted and truly surprising. Impeccable service, a pleasant atmosphere, and high-quality cuisine: a restaurant we'll definitely return to. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

26/11/2025: This restaurant is near Santa Croce, but on a somewhat confusing street where even the GPS system would get stuck trying to find it. It's accessible to the disabled, but there's no parking; the closest one is on Sant'Ambrogio. The restaurant is very elegant, almost refined, but perhaps with too many waiters; two people serve you almost every time, and they're often crowded together near the door. The menu is Neapolitan, offering both classic and gourmet pizzas at reasonable prices, even considering other pizzerias. As soon as we sat down, they asked us if we'd like a bubbly (thinking it was free, we took it given the way they almost offered it to you when telling you, but instead...) then we had a second serving of frittatine (good, but they made a mistake and they got some montanarine, which I sent back, and the correct dish arrived after 20 minutes) and for the main course, two gourmet pizzas, the Intrusa and the Florence (good, but we waited an hour for these, ridiculous for pizzas. I asked for them twice and when they arrived they didn't even apologize, so when it came to the bill, I mentioned it and they said they'd mixed up the tablets, but the fact that the people who arrived after us already had it under their lips as a waiter makes me wonder). All accompanied by two small beers and a still water. As for dessert, they only had two options, which we didn't try, and we finished with a coffee and an amaro. Please note: when you book a table at this place, there are two sittings. We chose the second one, at 9:30 PM, but we arrived well in advance, at 8:35 PM, and it was also empty, so we sat down. Secondly, as you can see from the photos, the menus are different. The one outside has some dishes, while the one you'll find with the QR code inside is missing or missing many (our phones didn't have reception inside, so the menus wouldn't open, so I asked for a paper one and they forgot about it. Luckily, the phone has since regained some life, otherwise it would have been years before we had a menu). All things considered, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Waiting all that time for pizzas that weren't even that great as the other reviews made it seem isn't worth it. The bubbles that seemed like a freebie when they arrived on the bill were way overpriced for a pizzeria. And after all that waiting time and the wrong dish arriving, at least an apology or a complimentary coffee would have been the least I could do, but it's clear that building customer loyalty, saving yourself from bad reviews, or not turning away a disgruntled customer isn't something everyone can do. Dinner time ---> starts at 8:35 PM ----> ends at 11:20/11:30 PM...and that says it all.

13/01/2026: An evening with friends for pizza and more, a place with plenty of tables, and a friendly, attentive staff. Excellent, mouthwatering potato chips, delicious fresh fried artichokes, lobster gnocchi I thought were excellent, the blue crab gnocchi were a must-try, and the linguine with clams and bottarga. The pizza was not bad, huge, and the chocolate and orange cake with flaked almonds was also excellent. Still white wine and coffee were also included. I must say the service was prompt and the price was excellent, a good balance between quality and price. We had a great time.
