19/05/2026: The hidden gem! This place is amazing. My food was excellent, crispy bread with liver and truffles as a starter was outstanding, Michelin star level. Pasta plate was very good, but not exceptional (that may be determined by my choice) and desert tiramisu was great. Good espresso closed the deal. Service was great.

18/05/2026: Cortona Bistrot is undoubtedly one of those places that surprises and delights. Everything we tried was delicious, but I must give a special and obligatory mention to their egg dish with pecorino and truffle. It's served by the owner, with his wife in the kitchen, and the service is exceptionally friendly.

05/06/2026: We stopped here by chance while on a Vespa tour. It was a truly positive experience. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the prices were fair, and the food was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend it.

04/05/2026: A well-kept restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was attentive, friendly, and extremely kind. All the dishes we tried were delicious and flavorful.

29/04/2026: Deliciously executed food with great professional service. Went in on a Sunday lunch without a reservation and was able to grab a table. Possible that the fried calamari and prawns could have been enhanced with a citrus aioli to cut through the fried food but nevertheless was great.

30/03/2026: Excellent. Less location, more food! So, we're in for a treat. I spent €45 per person, which is a lot considering what I ate. The quality, even in the simplest dishes, stands out. I wish there were more restaurants like this!

08/05/2026: We just returned from a 3 week honeymoon in Italy which required a LOT of planning. I normally am not one to leave a review, but we relied so heavily on them to plan our trip so I wanted to share my experience to hopefully help someone else out. :) This was the third stop of our trip. And if I had to describe this hotel, I'd say it's like a luxury bed and breakfast in the rolling hills of Tuscany. The property is gorgeous and the staff was very accommodating. However, be aware, this hotel is not walking distance to really anything so you will either need a car or will need to hire a taxi or a driver to get anywhere. We ended up paying over $75 in 1 day just to get to and from the town of Cortona which is about a 10 min car ride away. Also, when we were there in April, I think we were 2 of maybe 6 guests on property. It felt almost eerily quiet. This is definitely not a hotel that you would come to for the fun atmosphere. Its more of a relaxing, luxury, and romantic get away. The staff does a nice job to help coordinate any plans / logistics that are needed. And I would highly recommend making plans for each day that you are there. We really enjoyed the wine tour that they coordinated for us. I do want to give a special shoutout to the food because the breakfast and dinner that we had were always fantastic! However, be mindful that that their kitchen is closed on Monday nights and so are many of the local restaurants. We found ourselves in a bit of a predicament after our wine tour, so we had to have our driver bring us to a grocery store to get some food. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Just do your homework before hand so that your stay can be as enjoyable as possible!

13/01/2026: This place was so serene and quiet this time of year (late December). The staff was attentive and accommodating and the food... so good! Worth staying here for couples. I would say it's romantic. But, we also saw a couple of young families. You will be spoiled if you stay here. We will never get a better breakfast spread anywhere. They set the bar high!

10/05/2026: Very good food, friendly staff. The only downside is the slow service, as it takes an hour from ordering to the food arriving.

02/05/2026: The food is decent, as are the prices. The staff is unprepared (three of us gave different directions about the contents of the set menus). For those who order the €15 tourist menu, be aware that water is included in half a liter per person. Although they only brought two 0.75-liter bottles for four of us.

13/05/2026: I visited this hotel unexpectedly and was very pleasantly surprised. They managed to have a room ready for me early and we're very helpful considering my unplanned arrival. The restaurant menu and wine list were superb and I had one of the best meals I have ever had in all of Italy in over 20 years of travelling through the country, and in particular in Tuscany. The location was a little Off the Beaten path for my needs, however it was well worth the additional walk in the opposite direction of Center city and is very walkable from the train station. The complimentary breakfast was full service. And the room was priced very gently. I don't have plans to visit the town again but I will certainly return to stay at this hotel, it was a nice luxury treat for myself in the middle of a busy work situation. I highly recommend this hotel and the restaurant and their helpful staff!

13/05/2026: Easily accessible from major roads and a short distance from the city center, the Hotel Minerva is a four-star hotel with ample on-site parking, accessible even late at night thanks to a 24-hour concierge service. The hotel, divided into two buildings connected by the reception, offers impeccable service. The rooms are perfectly spacious for two people. The bathroom is spacious and clean, but unfortunately windowless. All amenities, including a safe, minibar, and television, are included in the rooms. The building also features a restaurant (also accessible to non-hotel guests), a fitness center, and spacious conference rooms. Another convenience is the connection to the city center, just a short walk from the hotel.
