16/02/2026: A fantastic stop on the way from Florence to Rome. Osteria del Gusto, in San Giovanni, has delicious food and incredibly friendly service, especially Rafi, who took excellent care of us. We went with three children, and everything was so easy. The linguine all'imperiale is spectacular, some of the best I've ever had. The spaghetti carbonara and tortellini al pesto are also very good, and the artichokes and fried fish are delicious as starters. It's right in the town center and easily accessible from the Autostrada del Sole. Excellent value for money and top-notch service. Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: Went tonight to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday... Nice, kind, and professional lady... all fish, excellent food, but also two starters that were amazing in terms of quality and quantity... all at a great price... I will definitely be back and I recommend it to all of you too...

29/12/2025: I've been to this restaurant with my family, it was quite small and very crowded, the food is good and the portions are generous and the price is fair, the only downsides are the smell of fried food that can be felt on your clothes and a waitress who wasn't exactly polite, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

23/12/2025: Excellent place, I can say it's the best place if you want to eat something fish-based, excellent quality/price ratio, the dishes are good and plentiful, not much to say, the only flaw is that the place is a bit small and when it's full you're too close to other people.

13/01/2026: This place was so serene and quiet this time of year (late December). The staff was attentive and accommodating and the food... so good! Worth staying here for couples. I would say it's romantic. But, we also saw a couple of young families. You will be spoiled if you stay here. We will never get a better breakfast spread anywhere. They set the bar high!

03/01/2026: We stayed in this splendid location for three nights over New Year's Eve 2025. The beauty of the relais, its rooms—particularly the exquisite furnishings—the Renaissance hall used for the New Year's Eve dinner, and the kindness of the staff (concierge, property manager, and waiters) are offset by some shortcomings that, for those who have stayed there, are unbecoming of a 5-star property: • I'll start with the most problematic and disappointing aspect: the sofa bed my son slept on, to whom I gave the double bed. The sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable, and you can clearly feel the bars on your back, resulting in a terrible quality of sleep. If we had known that a proper, comfortable extra bed wasn't available—as stated in the email I have—we wouldn't have stayed with the children. It's true that reporting this after the first night might have allowed for a partial solution, but one night would still have been lost. Given the price and category of the property, this is unacceptable, and a sofa bed of this type should not be provided or offered under any circumstances. • One of the rooms belonging to the family traveling with us had an exposed electrical outlet, with only a cover and no plate. • The bathroom in our room (a classic suite) does not have a bidet. • Upon our arrival, the welcome bottle had been forgotten; the staff, always extremely kind, apologized and promptly remedied the situation. • A cup used for tea the previous day remained on the bedside table even after the room had been tidied, without being removed or replaced. It was replaced on the second day. • There are no coat hooks: we had to leave our jackets on chairs and beds in an improvised manner. • Breakfast was poor and of mediocre quality. The cakes were good, but the croissants were unpresentable, even for a 2-star hotel. That said, for those who have previously stayed in properties of this category, we definitely do not consider this a 5-star hotel. I do not recommend it for value for money or for families with children.

25/01/2026: A lovely surprise. Fantastic place, the restaurant used to be an old monastery. The vaults and ancient rooms remain, and there's a wonderful atmosphere. The dishes are generous and well-prepared, especially the fried fish, which was truly excellent. The bill was absolutely fair, in fact, I'd say slightly underpriced. We'll definitely be back.

12/01/2026: What can I say, the name is perfect. Osteria dei Poeti, and in the kitchen, they don't prepare "normal" dishes, but truly delicious poems. Naturally, the wait staff then serves them, explaining the lines and rhymes. Thanks guys, we ate really well: mixed bruschetta, artichokes alla Giudia and fried artichokes (delicious), ribollita, ravioli with bacon and onion, etc. (another delight), and spaghetti with prawns. As I say in these cases... a truly wonderful dinner!!!

21/12/2025: I'll get straight to the point today: the food here is truly good. The place is well-decorated, with plenty of seating and plenty of space between them. The staff is truly friendly, helpful, and fun. The food is served in huge portions, is delicious, and healthy. The fish is fresh—in fact, incredibly fresh. If you want to eat well, come here.

14/12/2025: I strongly advise against this restaurant. I go to restaurants 4 or 5 times a month. 12 euros for a cover charge for 4 people, 22 euros for a cold starter from the fridge, 48 euros for a grilled dish to share between 2. Shame, truly scandalous.

26/02/2026: A beautiful, elegant, and well-maintained venue, reminiscent of the true high-end hotel restaurants of the finest cities. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming. The selection of meats and wines is excellent, with carefully selected, high-quality options. The focaccia is truly exquisite, paired perfectly with the local prosciutto. A pleasant experience worth repeating.

29/12/2025: Refined restaurant, we had grilled meat and pici with ragù for dinner, all super good! The price was very reasonable for the quality. Recommended 👍🏻

28/01/2026: I think it was the worst experience in 40 years of dining. Stale appetizers full of sauces, embarrassing grilled fish. Desserts were half-hot and half-cold, clearly defrosted on the spot and left on the plate after the first spoonful because they lacked flavor. The prices were truly exorbitant for the quality served.

19/01/2026: €160 for two for a total of five dishes, the quality of which rivals that of the worst all-you-can-eat restaurant. The place is cozy, but the dishes were all covered in sauces and dips, a vain attempt to flavor the terrible food. Only the first course was passable. The result: a truly overpriced meal for terrible food and heartburn that lingered all night. I'm sad because the food used to be good, but now it's become a very expensive place with truly subpar food.

08/03/2026: Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The host was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast included excellent cappuccino and homemade cake. I've stayed here several times for work, and I really enjoyed it.
