An incredible experience! Everything was delicious; you could taste the quality and care in every dish. They even went the extra mile to adapt a pasta dish for me with gluten-free pasta, which I greatly appreciated. The service was exceptional—super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything at all times. It's wonderful to find places where, in addition to eating so well, they make you feel right at home. 100% recommended. If you're in Foiano della Chiana, you have to try it! ❤️

A real surprise, finally a place where you can enjoy excellent seafood dishes! I had paccheri alla carbonara di mare and cuoppo, all truly excellent! Paired with an excellent wine with the funny name "dispetto" (spite).

Such a friendly welcome on a Sunday late lunch. Only place open in town but so glad we visited. Staff were really lovely and took time to translate things to English. Dishes were lovely - great pasta and grilled octopus! Nice wine too.

Probably some of the best meals we had in Tuscany, we went three times during our weeklong visit. That is amazing food, located in a sedate strip mall that you would never expect to have such a wonderful restaurant.

14/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, I have been there many years ago and the service and quality of the food have remained unchanged and always top notch.
13/05/2026: I visited this hotel unexpectedly and was very pleasantly surprised. They managed to have a room ready for me early and we're very helpful considering my unplanned arrival. The restaurant menu and wine list were superb and I had one of the best meals I have ever had in all of Italy in over 20 years of travelling through the country, and in particular in Tuscany. The location was a little Off the Beaten path for my needs, however it was well worth the additional walk in the opposite direction of Center city and is very walkable from the train station. The complimentary breakfast was full service. And the room was priced very gently. I don't have plans to visit the town again but I will certainly return to stay at this hotel, it was a nice luxury treat for myself in the middle of a busy work situation. I highly recommend this hotel and the restaurant and their helpful staff!

Il Vecchio E Il Mare - Sansepolcro

01/08/2026: The seafood restaurant is located in the historic center of Sansepolcro. We ate at one of the outdoor tables. The waitress offers the menu based on availability. The food was excellent, as was the service. There were three of us, and we ordered an appetizer, a first course, three second courses, three desserts, wine, and water, for €57 each. The portions are generous. The price is high, but it was worth it.
12/07/2026: Dinner for two at a randomly chosen venue. A great find for a Thursday night. Excellent fixed-price menu, depending on whether you choose a first course, second course, or side dish! Absolutely fresh house specials. Only fish!!! Interesting fried fish and fresh, light grilled shellfish. Portions finally reasonable for the price. Friendly, smiling staff, always available. Well-kept venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Keep up the good work! 👏
