07/01/2026: Pizzeria on the promenade. The pizza used to be good, but I think pizzerias don't exist anymore.

22/09/2025: Service: The wine we wanted to drink, which the staff said was a great decision, wasn't available. The bottle that we then ordered was brought to us open, but we couldn't even test it first, so we had to pour the first glass ourselves. The waiter had problems speaking english and was not flexible at all with the dish selection, since many dishes weren't available. We had to pay inside at the register, so with all that in mind, why does one have to pay cover charge? Food: The mozarella in the caprese salad was very jewy and the olive oil and aceto balsamico came in plastic bags, again why cover charge? The fish was okay but bland. The gnocchi were mushy and the shrimp sauce tasted frozen with a weird rotten fish aftertaste. Also the shrimps were cut open and there were scissors of other sea animals in the dish. We had to return it because it was inedible.

11/07/2026: The food was bad for all four of us, two of them a complete disaster. My pasta was undercooked and so hard we were all speechless that we couldn't believe it could end up on a plate. The calamari was tough and fried in lángos oil like something you'd get at a carnival, and so on and so forth. No one knows why they charge a cover charge (no bread, breadsticks, or anything else included)...! Just don't go there. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes on Elba.

05/07/2026: When we walked in, I wasn't expecting such attentive and friendly service and amazingly tasty and high-quality cuisine. The fried anchovies were a 10. We'll definitely be back.

08/06/2026: Informal and friendly atmosphere, excellent seafood specialties. The pizza is excellent. The mussels with pepper sauce is a must-try!

31/05/2026: I always order the seafood and the fried fish, and both are top notch. It's very, very hard to find better. A well-deserved 5 stars.

21/06/2026: This place is the most bland, boring, slow, and poorly serviced restaurant on the strip. AVOID EATING HERE AT ALL COST. The recommended dishes all came out at different times. And the main dishes were eventually missing, even after 45 minutes of waiting. We eventually got up and left. Bread was brought out, but they got mad when we asked for olive oil. Unbelievable. 19/06/2026: Wonderful evening! We went to Ristorante Foresta for an aperitivo and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and the live music is top-notch, creating the perfect atmosphere. The bartender makes unique and distinctive cocktails. The waitresses were very attentive and thoughtful, and the chef was incredibly kind and explained the menu to us with great passion. We'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: Nothing special! The quality/price ratio and service are embarrassing, which is a shame because the location on the harbor is very beautiful. At those prices, you can find much better.

02/05/2026: The sea bream was good, but the service was totally lacking! We started ordering, and the waitress disappeared halfway through! To continue, we had to wait for someone to count us. The same goes for the dishes that arrived after ages, and no waiter counted you, you practically had to wave your arms! Shame!

21/03/2026: We stayed at this hotel for two weeks in July 2023, and were so satisfied that we wanted to repeat the experience this year, again for two weeks, despite the sharp increase in prices, which were already high. It's a shame that many things have changed this year. Starting with the management, which has proven to be not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel in Punta Ala, CERTAINLY NOT FOR THE CUSTOMERS, GIVEN WHAT THEY PAY. Breakfast was limited and had discount products. To get a vegan croissant (which you can now even find at service stations), we had to call our tour operator. Only three cakes were always the same. Fruit was only melon and pineapple, and some mornings only pineapple. The staff would argue with each other for half an hour over making a cappuccino. There was often no hot water for tea. The table didn't even have a piece of paper on it. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner areas were ONLY OUTSIDE THE POOL, in the sun and the heat of 40°C. Every evening, smoking barbecues smoldered in the air, and depending on the wind, it would blow into your room, the pool, or while you were sitting down to eat. There is a complete lack of air conditioning in the common areas, as the rooms that were elegantly decorated for breakfast and dinner last year have this year become playrooms for the children. There is no relaxation area or TV, as the lounge has been emptied of sofas. No air-conditioned bar area for an evening drink, except by the pool with mosquitoes playing host. Deluxe Room: Sheets changed every other day, no extra pillows of different weights, no evening turndown service, no bathrobes, often mismatched towels, no maintenance on taps and limescale, faulty safety lock, good housekeeping, but remember, we're talking about a Deluxe Room in a 4-star hotel! Beach towels can be picked up at reception in exchange for stamps. In a 4-star hotel, given the price I pay, you have to leave the towels in your room or on the beach. Michel at reception and the maitre d', Mr. Antonio, are always kind and friendly, but without losing the PROFESSIONALISM that is often lacking in everything else. The beach and shuttle service are excellent. Elena and Giovanni are always friendly. Things must be said for better or for worse, because the customer DOESN'T COME FOR FREE and especially when he was there only the year before he expects to find what he left behind, and above all what he sees in the hotel's videos and brochures.

07/04/2026: We went for Easter Monday lunch expecting that, being a holiday, the wait might be longer than usual and that a little patience would be required. Unfortunately, however, the experience far exceeded our negative expectations. The waits between courses were truly excessive, especially between the appetizer and the mixed grill. But what bothered us most was the quality of the food: the grill was burnt, dry, and incomplete, even missing the beef. Considering it was a "mixed grill," one might expect a full variety of meats, which was not the case. The side dishes were also burnt and dry, confirming a general lack of attention to the preparation of the dishes. Overall, the quality of the food was decidedly poor. Another negative aspect was the lack of communication from the staff: no one informed us of any problems in the kitchen, and only after we reported it were we informed about the delays. We also noted several service deficiencies: the meat knives at the table next to ours were changed, while ours weren't. The seats were dirty and the tablecloth had stains, details that significantly impact the overall experience. It's a shame, because the location is truly beautiful. The only positive note: the grilled food was removed from the bill, as it was burnt and inedible. A thoughtful gesture, but not enough to make up for an overall disappointing experience.

19/04/2026: We wanted to try the new management. Poor value for money. Disappointing experience, but with room for improvement given the venue's potential.

21/02/2026: We were a table of 14 people, and they brought us a menu we hadn't requested, the same for everyone, but it was poor quality, and the fish was subpar for the price. I don't recommend it because it's too expensive (€80 per person) for the very low quality.

10/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant on New Year's Day. We arrived for lunch around 1pm. The room was very corporate and customer-oriented. Excellent service. The owner served us and honored us, apologizing a thousand times for the kitchen's delay. When we entered through the window, you could see the chef smoking a cigarette in the kitchen... and this already affected us a bit... unfortunately, the kitchen was a bit late for an appetizer and two first courses. All in all, everything was good... but for a place like this, I expected much more.

04/01/2026: We chose this restaurant mainly because it was the only one in the area that allowed us to park our camper. Once inside, we were welcomed into a very elegant and characteristic setting, with a very extensive menu. The prices seemed high, but considering the quality and portions, we had to change our minds! We had two really good and generous fish appetizers (seafood salad and a mussel soup), two fish-based first courses, both excellent. My pappardelle was loaded with shellfish, shrimp, prawns, and mussels, practically a fish soup! If we're in the area, we'll definitely return. Recommended also for the parking, which is uncommon in the area. Attentive and friendly service.
