19/06/2025: Piacevole ritorno dopo 4 anni in quello che viene considerato il miglior ristorante stellato della costiera degli Etruschi. Qui la materia prima la fa da padrone perché viene trattata secondo i dettami della tradizione. Un plauso anche alla gentilezza e simpatia del personale. Bravi perché da anni con fatica e dedizione siete sempre in vetta.

12/06/2026: A restaurant with one of the most well-kept and centrally located verandas in the Port. Directly overlooking the shoreline. Excellent food! The seafood soup and tuna tataki are highly recommended. The rest of the menu is also delicious and worth trying. (Kindness and courtesy are the hallmarks.) Recommended!

12/06/2026: When you arrive in Giglio Porto, there are so many places... But then you see a flower-filled veranda that looks like a raft on the sea... La Margherita!!! The restaurant you were hoping for for an evening to remember, so as the sun sets, Angela welcomes you with the elegance of experience that comes from a family tradition. LA MARGHERITA is a truly special place where the dishes are cooked to perfection. The freshest fish and the chilled wine are superb... The desserts are a real surprise, and as the moon replaces the now-set sun, it's wonderful to be pampered by those delicacies. Thank you, Angela, for the wonderful evening at your restaurant "LA MARGHERITA". ❤️👏👏👏 WE WILL BE BACK

07/01/2026: Pizzeria on the promenade. The pizza used to be good, but I think pizzerias don't exist anymore.

22/09/2025: Service: The wine we wanted to drink, which the staff said was a great decision, wasn't available. The bottle that we then ordered was brought to us open, but we couldn't even test it first, so we had to pour the first glass ourselves. The waiter had problems speaking english and was not flexible at all with the dish selection, since many dishes weren't available. We had to pay inside at the register, so with all that in mind, why does one have to pay cover charge? Food: The mozarella in the caprese salad was very jewy and the olive oil and aceto balsamico came in plastic bags, again why cover charge? The fish was okay but bland. The gnocchi were mushy and the shrimp sauce tasted frozen with a weird rotten fish aftertaste. Also the shrimps were cut open and there were scissors of other sea animals in the dish. We had to return it because it was inedible.

23/04/2026: As its name suggests, it's a paradise on the beach. Everything is super cute and elegant. The service and attention are excellent. The menu is mainly seafood. I recommend the tagliolini with shrimp and black truffle. The prices are high, but in line with the location. It's worth it. An important detail is that it's open all day, all year round.

09/04/2026: I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we had a magnificent view of the sea. The waiter was welcoming and friendly. The dishes were very good and beautifully presented, and the service was good. It's a great place that I would gladly recommend and where I will happily return.

01/06/2026: We've been here on Elba for 12 days now and this was the best meal we've had so far, in a beautiful setting. The price is okay. The service is very attentive.

10/05/2026: We were warmly welcomed and listened to. We had a table outside, but under the mushroom shade to keep warm. I've had the best gnocchi all'orata in a long time. Homemade gnocchi with a delicious sauce and fresh fish. Thank you.

21/03/2026: We stayed at this hotel for two weeks in July 2023, and were so satisfied that we wanted to repeat the experience this year, again for two weeks, despite the sharp increase in prices, which were already high. It's a shame that many things have changed this year. Starting with the management, which has proven to be not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel in Punta Ala, CERTAINLY NOT FOR THE CUSTOMERS, GIVEN WHAT THEY PAY. Breakfast was limited and had discount products. To get a vegan croissant (which you can now even find at service stations), we had to call our tour operator. Only three cakes were always the same. Fruit was only melon and pineapple, and some mornings only pineapple. The staff would argue with each other for half an hour over making a cappuccino. There was often no hot water for tea. The table didn't even have a piece of paper on it. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner areas were ONLY OUTSIDE THE POOL, in the sun and the heat of 40°C. Every evening, smoking barbecues smoldered in the air, and depending on the wind, it would blow into your room, the pool, or while you were sitting down to eat. There is a complete lack of air conditioning in the common areas, as the rooms that were elegantly decorated for breakfast and dinner last year have this year become playrooms for the children. There is no relaxation area or TV, as the lounge has been emptied of sofas. No air-conditioned bar area for an evening drink, except by the pool with mosquitoes playing host. Deluxe Room: Sheets changed every other day, no extra pillows of different weights, no evening turndown service, no bathrobes, often mismatched towels, no maintenance on taps and limescale, faulty safety lock, good housekeeping, but remember, we're talking about a Deluxe Room in a 4-star hotel! Beach towels can be picked up at reception in exchange for stamps. In a 4-star hotel, given the price I pay, you have to leave the towels in your room or on the beach. Michel at reception and the maitre d', Mr. Antonio, are always kind and friendly, but without losing the PROFESSIONALISM that is often lacking in everything else. The beach and shuttle service are excellent. Elena and Giovanni are always friendly. Things must be said for better or for worse, because the customer DOESN'T COME FOR FREE and especially when he was there only the year before he expects to find what he left behind, and above all what he sees in the hotel's videos and brochures.

07/04/2026: A disastrous Easter Monday in a photo. Sometimes, if you can't manage a restaurant, it's best to step back. Sorry, but the place is very beautiful anyway.

07/04/2026: We went for Easter Monday lunch expecting that, being a holiday, the wait might be longer than usual and that a little patience would be required. Unfortunately, however, the experience far exceeded our negative expectations. The waits between courses were truly excessive, especially between the appetizer and the mixed grill. But what bothered us most was the quality of the food: the grill was burnt, dry, and incomplete, even missing the beef. Considering it was a "mixed grill," one might expect a full variety of meats, which was not the case. The side dishes were also burnt and dry, confirming a general lack of attention to the preparation of the dishes. Overall, the quality of the food was decidedly poor. Another negative aspect was the lack of communication from the staff: no one informed us of any problems in the kitchen, and only after we reported it were we informed about the delays. We also noted several service deficiencies: the meat knives at the table next to ours were changed, while ours weren't. The seats were dirty and the tablecloth had stains, details that significantly impact the overall experience. It's a shame, because the location is truly beautiful. The only positive note: the grilled food was removed from the bill, as it was burnt and inedible. A thoughtful gesture, but not enough to make up for an overall disappointing experience.

22/05/2026: Nice and quiet place, friendly and courteous staff. Fantastic Neapolitan-style pizza, truly delicious. Good price for the amount of ingredients on the pizza.

03/05/2026: Nothing special! The quality/price ratio and service are embarrassing, which is a shame because the location on the harbor is very beautiful. At those prices, you can find much better.

02/05/2026: The sea bream was good, but the service was totally lacking! We started ordering, and the waitress disappeared halfway through! To continue, we had to wait for someone to count us. The same goes for the dishes that arrived after ages, and no waiter counted you, you practically had to wave your arms! Shame!
