Lots of paintings on the walls and carnival posters; the atmosphere evokes the historic atmosphere of Viareggio, but not only that...hanging in the secondary room are many paintings, prints, and paintings that clearly evoke fascism, some of them even featuring Mussolini with a fascist salute...I was perplexed by this ostentation.

I visited Stefano's in Viareggio and had a great experience. The cuisine is excellent, with carefully prepared dishes and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, made even more pleasant by the friendliness and kindness of the staff. A place where you eat well and feel welcome. Definitely worth recommending and returning to.

The place to be if you want a place where you can breathe the Viareggio atmosphere. I don't eat gluten, and they made me the best spaghetti allo scoglio I've ever eaten: al dente spaghetti, abundant mussels, and a more than generous portion. The main courses? All good, according to my fellow diners; I opted for a cacciucco that rivals the one in Livorno. I hope they don't raise the prices after this review, because those are more than competitive too...

A family-friendly atmosphere where you can still enjoy authentic Viareggio cuisine, using excellent ingredients prepared simply but with which they create excellent dishes!
The owner is not only friendly but also very personable, evoking the sadly endangered role of a host.
Excellent prices considering the quality/price ratio! Highly recommended!

If you want to feel at home, this is the restaurant for you, always fresh fish cooked as it should be cooked, in addition to fish there is super meat and so much other good stuff, pass by Viareggio and stop by Stefano You will not regret it; PS perfect prices and very helpful staff and friendliness is the master, highly recommended

A REAL restaurant like it used to be, where you eat well and sit comfortably.
I recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it.
It's hard to find a better one around.
