The appetizer was fine, but the main course, at €19, was a real disappointment – ​​just ordinary mashed potatoes, ordinary octopus, and a generic salad in that portion size? The service was okay, but they didn't ask if we wanted dessert. I have no idea if it's normal in the area that they don't ask if we want anything to drink after the main course.

The quality of the ingredients is excellent, the combinations are unusual but spot-on, and the presentation is meticulous: the best locally sourced produce, even the "cart" of aromatic plants, all strictly potted!

07/12/2025: PortoMatto in Avola was a delightful discovery. I ordered a first course, a truly delicious risotto: well-creamed, flavorful, but never heavy. The restaurant is elegant, with attention to detail, and the background music is not too loud and very pleasant, allowing for a peaceful conversation. Special praise goes to the table service: professional, attentive, but never intrusive. I'd especially like to highlight the kindness and empathy of the waiter, Giovanni, who really worked hard to find a solution for my wife's particularly restricted diet, trying to accommodate her in every way possible. In the end, she didn't order anything, but his face showed genuine disappointment, a sign of genuine care for the customer. Overall, a very positive experience: highly recommended.

09/11/2025: We happened upon this place by chance, and were intrigued by its simplicity and the fresh food counter. We had grilled calamari and breaded prawns, excellent! They were available to take away, but we made do with it and ate them on the spot, along with a tasty first course, accompanied by kindness and friendliness.

20/04/2026: sad to say, but by far our worst meal here. Fish was cold and not good, even the stray cats didn’t want to eat the leftovers. Fried artichoke was cold and inedible, impossible to eat. The owners kids ran around kicking a soccer ball in and out of the restaurant the whole time and threw these spark things on the ground that made loud bangs. We didn’t have silverware or napkins and kept having to ask for basic things like that or grab them from neighboring tables. Very overpriced too. The staff is nice but would pass on the food sadly. :(

17/05/2026: We just left this restaurant and I want to thank the owner for finding us a table even though we hadn't booked. The prices were really fair considering the quantity and quality of the dishes, and they even offered a discount on the bill, a much-appreciated gesture. The linguine with clams was delicious! We'll definitely be back, thank you so much!

09/05/2026: I've been to Zwooooo Due twice. The first time, I bought a bottle of wine – I only planned to eat half of it and enjoyed the rest the next day! The first evening was supposed to start with mussels, but it was a bit of a linguistic tangle as I was unable to speak Italian. The maestro (Capocuoco) explained this and that to me, and I nodded politely! Then came the amazing meal! Grilled and fried fish and seafood. See the picture! Absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, it was still chilly, as is typical for early May, and I didn't have a jacket with me! So, I brought a jacket! On the second day – mussels! Incredibly good (sautéed). At my request, I also got grilled swordfish and pasta (busati or something similar) with fish! So, I was extremely satisfied. Another reviewer wrote: Simply furnished. I can only agree. BUT SUPER PROPER AND EXTREMELY CLEAN!!!!! I THINK IT WAS VERY GOOD

02/05/2026: Nice place, clean and well-kept. The staff at the tables and the kitchen were excellent. I had a really good meal; the bottarga was excellent, and the stuffed calamari was delicious. I'll definitely be back.
