06/05/2026: Fantastic pizza. Exactly what we were looking for - a local “hole in the wall“ that makes pizza in a wood fired oven. Just 4 guys who make great pizza!

05/05/2026: If you like standard Sicilian food served in large portions don’t go here! If you want something a bit different from the run of the mill restaurants, fantastic combinations of flavours and a fine dining experience you must go to this restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful, the service was superb, the presentation of the food a work of art. Can’t recommend it enough, the best restaurant I have been to in Taormina.

18/05/2026: I visited this trattoria with my husband, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The homemade pasta was delicious, and the dessert was truly spectacular. I highly recommend this place.

05/05/2026: We came around 11 o'clock to ask what time they open because we wanted to plan lunch there - I heard that it's not a bar and they open at 11:30. We arrived a moment after this hour, we had large backpacks with us so we took a seat at a table for 4 people (me and my fiancé) - I would like to emphasize that no one was in the restaurant. The waiter came and told us to move to a smaller table even though there were no other people. The food and drinks were very good - I don't want to miss it. Then people started to gather - each table got a welcome treat, unfortunately we didn't - maybe a moment after opening they didn't have ready yet. 2x service was added to the bill - 3 euros per person, which in my opinion should count from a larger group or one service to one bill - especially since we took 1 pizza for half

05/11/2025: Had a lovely meal here. Delicious seafood pasta. Service was excellent. I had a server named Andrea, and they brought a little limoncello on the house. Would return!

08/09/2025: I ate excellent raw ham, although the portion was certainly not large. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only flaw is that the restaurant isn't air-conditioned.

01/01/2026: A memorable December 31st: we ate outside even though it was raining, warmed by blankets, the fire, and above all by the attentive staff who pampered us until the very end. Jacqueline was an excellent hostess.

21/12/2025: What an experience ! Fantastic apetizer (sardinas fried to perfection with a simple home made mayonaise) and ensalata de bacalao with grapefruit and olives. My taste sense just exploded. Luckily there was a glass of the finest sauvignon to help getting back to earth 🙈😇. Delicious it was. Thank you very much.

29/04/2026: Unfortunately, I can only give one star. For me, this is a tourist trap. Having to pay €25 for a glass of wine? The waiter should have warned us. I had three glasses and it cost €75 – outrageous! I've been traveling in Italy for weeks and have never paid more than €25 to €75 for a bottle of very good wine. The only positive thing is that the food was good.

01/05/2026: I recently visited this restaurant and had a truly fantastic experience. The staff was immediately welcoming and professional. The food was simply excellent: carefully prepared dishes and quality ingredients. Each course was beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. The live music made the evening even more special, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy dinner. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, excellent service, and a pleasant overall experience!

Before you write anything about restaurants that do a good job, make sure it's the truth and not the comment of a frustrated person.

23/05/2026: The setting and food were lovely, and the owner was very accommodating for a non-seafood eater given the menu is small and mostly fish. It is expensive and we had some confusion over the price of the catch of the day, but they were very understanding and resolved it for us. The homemade bread and olive oil was also the best we had in Sicily! Would recommend

11/05/2026: It was so delicious that I visited twice during my stay. First of all, the restaurant is located in the heart of the bustling city center, and the experience of eating on a staircase is unique. Appetizers: Sicilian salad, vegetable soup, and tomato soup were all very rich! Pizza: Capricciosa, prosciutto pizza Pasta: Bolognese, carbonara, lobster pasta I was able to request that all the pasta be made with spaghetti! The flavors are something that any Japanese person would find delicious, and the firmness of the noodles was just right. The carbonara was especially amazing!! The desserts and the service from the staff were also excellent, and they even set off fireworks for Mother's Day! 😹❤️

02/05/2026: The best restaurant in Taormina, with exceptionally friendly service, a homey atmosphere, delicious food, and fresh fish—not so easy to find on this island. We're going back tomorrow. Plus, the view of Mount Etna—wonderful! I hope there are more places like this!
