02/07/2025: Le Naumachie is one of the best places to eat in Taormina. Situated next to the remains of one of the most historic corners of Taormina (the Naumachia building), it is atmospheric and majestic. The restaurant’s chef offers his guests tasteful and stunning dishes, beautifully presented, equivalent to those of a Michelin * restaurant. In between each course, you are offered a (complimentary) amuse bouche, each one of them being a true state of the art! They have an excellent wine list, for every purse, starting from a fairly low price/bottle and raising up to thousands of euros/bottle, should you feel spendy 😊 (this is not to be considered as a drawback, though, since one can pick one of the value-for-money wines they offer at lower prices)! The restaurant has surely invested well and wise on their service, which was excellent -relaxed and friendly, as another client suggested- and always ready to discuss their menu options and offer analytical details about everything (including the site’s history 😊). The signora at the entrance (I believe the owner’s mother) invites you at the restaurant as if you were back home! We will surely enjoy another dinner at this fantastic restaurant, when we return to Taormina, and enjoy an even better bottle of wine (or even two), something that we weren’t able to do this time, since we had an almost 2-hour drive back to Siracusa and drinking and driving is not advisable! The price range below included a value-for-money bottle of wine, two starters and two main courses.

14/06/2025: So nice we went here twice. You will not find a better beach club for the money in Taormina. For 30 euros you get shuttle service to the club and back with three time options. Two chairs and umbrella front row, first come first serve. Nice restaurant with reasonable prices and great fresh seafood. Clean bathrooms, outdoor shower and changing rooms. The absolute most crystal clear water I have ever seen. Polite and friendly staff. They even threw in two fresh towels. Bring water shoes you will want them! Call the day before to reserve your shuttle. I don't do many 5 star reviews but this place deserves it 100%

12/06/2025: Family-friendly beach. Clear sea. Comfortable bathrooms and changing rooms. Excellent free shower service and delicious food served at the restaurant (fresh fish) at honest prices. If I were to return to Taormina as a tourist I would return without a shadow of a doubt.

12/07/2025: Honestly - best meal we’ve had on our trip in southern Sicily. We had salade caprese, grilled veggies, the ravioli (! Highly recommend!) and a tiramisu 👌🏼 Julia & Toto were great hosts, the service was amazing. We’ll come back ✌🏼

11/07/2025: This is a lovely family run restaurant, a little bit off the beaten track and with beautiful gardens across the road. The food we had was lovely, bresaola, rocket and Parmesan to start, then tempura prawns and pasta with prawns and pistachio pesto. Accompanied by local wine. It was very tasty and good value. We enjoyed our meal very much.

22/06/2025: Fantastic food and service. Cozy atmosphere and great location. A bit hidden away but would recommend anyone visiting Taormina to eat here! Order something from the "catch of the day" menu and you won't be disappointed!

03/07/2025: We were in Taormina for a week and visited different places. We probably had dinner and lunch here 6 times, because it can't be compared with other places. Everything was great, very tasty, high quality and the prices were very pleasant, the service was top notch! We were always complimented when we came back. We also chose this place to celebrate a birthday and didn't regret it! I highly recommend it, this place has become our favorite place in Taormina!

02/07/2025: A wonderful little pub on the sidelines, during the day only regulars, so I didn't have to wait for a table. The service was impolite, and the food was delicious. The best pizza I've ever eaten (fantasia), you can taste the fresh ingredients from the top shelf.

The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish prepared with fresh ingredients and presented with care. The linguine vongole was delicate and full of flavor, the rich bolognese was comfort in a bowl, and the lobster—tender and perfectly seasoned—was a showstopper. Pair all of that with a breathtaking view that sweeps across the coastline, and you’ve got a dining experience that’s both elegant and soul-warming. The staff made the evening even more special with their friendly service and thoughtful recommendations. You can feel the love and tradition behind every plate. 21/06/2025: Fantastic experience at Andreas Restaurant! The roasted octopus was the best I’ve ever had—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Friendly staff and a lovely location right in front of Villa Comunale di Taormina. Deserves every bit of its Michelin Guide mention!

20/06/2025: Absolutely phenomenal experience all around. Hospitality was great and atmosphere was perfect. Hotel said they have a new Michelin starred chef the last few years and food shows it. The raw seafood plate was outstanding (we were shocked actually by how good it was) and then the pastas we had were perfect. One of the better restaurants we have tried across Italy!

18/05/2025: We had the best dinner here tonight. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I ordered the gnocchi and they were the best I have had in Taormina. They also had heaters next to the table's since it was cool outside. I highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious!

10/05/2025: Il ristorante si trova in un bel vicolo di Taormina, lontano dal caos. Il pesce è buono e molto fresco e la proprietaria molto cordiale e competente. Attenzione ai prezzi peró, soprattutto del vino, poichè abbiamo pagato un calice circa 16 euro. Nel complesso la qualità è ottima ma per un antipasto e un primo non spenderete meno di 80 euro a testa.

17/06/2025: Wonderful experience, and amazing host who recommended what to order, and really made us feel like a valued customer. The seafood is excellent. Located in a side street, it is perfect for dining.

17/06/2025: Quintessential Sicilian Seafood dining experience. The meal was deliciously fresh and well balanced, and the atmosphere was sensational. Our experience was elevated by the excellent service provided from all staff, in particular, our host who recommended dishes and made us feel wonderfully welcomed. Could not be more pleased with our experience!

01/07/2025: Overpriced and smaller than general portions. Taormina in general is expensive, so it's no surprise really. Service was kind, but a bit slow. The meat was called entrecote, but doesn't resemble the cut as it's known in other countries. The fried vegetables were cold. The house wine was way overpriced for the quality served. Can't recommend, but we at least finished the food.
