13/04/2026: I was here in this magnificent restaurant, very welcoming and well-kept environment, I ate really well, I started with a mixed rustic appetizer and we integrated the appetizers that were not included in the dish. The melted Tuma cheese rated 10. Winter dishes were carefully prepared and well served. The staff very professional and friendly. They recommended a really excellent wine, a Syrah Case Alte di Macelarotto, I recommend it. We had two first courses, spaghetti carbonara with bacon and truffle shavings and a first course of pappardelle with asparagus, speck and cream cheese. We moved on to dessert with a fig and chocolate tart and a chocolate and pear tart, unfortunately I did not find the taste I was hoping for. I will be back to try many of your other dishes because it was a positive experience. Fresh products and a variety of choices on the menu. Excellent value for money. Recommended.

29/03/2026: Excellent experience: Welcome, with a welcome glass of prosecco and a savory wafer. Fast, attentive, professional, and very kind service. Truly good food. My wife ordered the Bronte pizza, about €14; it has a very light, flaky dough and excellent toppings, in addition to the generous portion. I ordered the fish appetizer for myself; for €22, you can satisfy your hunger, delighting in a delicious pepper caponata, a trio of marinated fish, a selection of fried small fish (very fresh), octopus salad, peppered mussels, and two anchovies (I would have preferred some marinated anchovies). Good crusty bread; as soon as the first basket was finished, the waiter immediately brought a second without me having time to ask. A 750 ml bottle of still water and a 33 cl Strait beer. Finally, a warm chocolate heart for my wife and a mandarin sorbet for me. All this for €57, including €2.80 per person for the cover charge. (A little high, but still satisfying.) An experience to repeat!

14/04/2026: While in town for work, I recently ate at this self-service restaurant on a recommendation. Being in the industry, I can confirm that the ingredients are both fresh and defrosted/chilled. Unfortunately, what I didn't appreciate at all was the food: simple, poorly prepared dishes loaded with oil, vinegar, and salt, as if trying to cover them up. I'm referring to a simple, tasteless, and disjointed pasta dish with clams, or a vinegary octopus salad. The place has become a tourist hotspot, and I know you can tell by the prices, which are based on sentiment. For identical dishes, I paid two different bills, adding almost €10 to the price. What a shame.

I've been coming here for 14 years now, and their consistent, good work is a testament to their professionalism. The icing on the cake are their homemade liqueurs, perfect for a delicious after-dinner treat. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: Today, my wife and I had the pleasure of lunch at Trattoria Da Peppino. We ordered the half menu, consisting of appetizers and two first courses. What can I say? The place is well-kept and clean, the staff attentive and always available to answer any questions. The food was excellent. The cashier was an elderly lady, but with an enviable elegance. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you for everything.

16/03/2026: I wanted to try this restaurant because I'd heard good things about it. It's a lovely, elegant place, with private parking and electronic payment options. I had the "Aqua del Ferro" pizza, and I have to say it was very good: excellent ingredients used, generous toppings, and truly well-made. The staff was also professional and friendly; there was nothing to complain about. The only downside, if anything, was the higher-than-average prices. For two pizzas, a generous portion of fries, two cans of Coke, and a 75cl can of water, I paid €49. I later got the price down to €32 thanks to a reservation with The Fork, which I recommend using if you want to try this lovely restaurant.

25/02/2026: The meatballs with lemon leaves and pork in sauce represent a perfect balance between tradition and the identity of the Giarre area. The citrusy note of the lemon leaves is not invasive, but works in the background, enhancing the natural sweetness of the pork and creating a distinctive aromatic signature. The same goes for the pork in sauce. Highly recommended.

21/02/2026: The place feels like home… The photos hanging there testify to the strong connection with Etna and Sicily! The pizza and meat are truly delicious… You have to try them! The service is excellent and, despite the crowd, they were very quick. Recommended.

The food was decent (everything tasted better before), but the service was poor... we had to ask for a Pepsi and more wine three times, and in the end they even scolded us for asking for a different waiter... that's just not right... the prices have gone up, but the quality hasn't!!!
