17/11/2025: Super friendly staff and delicious seafood. We had baked breaded balls and fried anchovies? as starters, the grouper for main course and we shared a lemon tart for dessert. Everything was excellent.

16/11/2025: The food was excellent, but the octopus was so tough you almost broke your teeth. The marinated shrimp were very good. The pasta alla Norma was really good, but I left a third of the beef fillet because the meat was sinewy and stringy, although the flavor was very good and the meat was juicy. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. They didn't seem at all interested in us, even though we were practically the only customers. No one asked if we liked the food. The waiter brought the first course when the table hadn't yet been cleared after the appetizer. The staff dragged the tables and placed them next to us, making a lot of noise. We felt like intruders and lost interest in dessert. Maybe it was just a bad day, or maybe they don't like tourists...

01/10/2025: A truly positive experience. A very cute place with a spectacular wine selection. And most importantly, it wasn't touristy!!! Excellent, plentiful food at very fair prices. The raw ham and appetizer selection were excellent. The owner and staff were kind and helpful, even joking around with our 6-year-old daughter. What can I say? See you next time in Catania!

15/11/2025: A lovely trattoria with an elegant, rustic style. We ordered exceptional meat and vegetable appetizers, everything cooked with taste and skill. The Catania-style boiled meat was superb, and the sliced ​​steaks were picture-perfect. My compliments to the friendly and knowledgeable staff and the very welcoming and professional owner. We'll be back as soon as possible to try the rest of the menu.

31/10/2025: Exceptional welcome and table service

23/11/2025: The restaurant was recommended to us by a local restaurateur because we wanted to eat good fresh fish in a place not frequented by tourists. The experience was very positive; we were greeted by Massimo, who immediately showed us to our table and suggested we start with his appetizers. We tried raw shrimp, mussels au gratin, fried fish, and raw anchovies... all very good, fresh, and plentiful. We then decided to continue with two first courses: spaghetti with squid ink and their signature dish, spaghetti with sea urchin pulp, both impeccable. Finally, they brought us two delicious sorbets. To accompany the entire dinner, we enjoyed a delicious Anthilia from Donnafugata. The cost of the dinner was more than justified by the quantity and quality of the food, including a bottle of wine at a great price. Totalling €70 for two people.

29/10/2025: Last day of my vacation in Sicily, and my last lunch here. I'd say the quality of the fish was beyond exceptional. The three of us had a mixed appetizer, which I must say was enough to finish off the meal, a tuna steak, and, if I remember correctly, some swordfish skewers. Beautiful place, top-notch service, and delicious food. If I return to this area, I'll definitely be back.

01/09/2025: I visited for work with a colleague and found the place quite busy, which is definitely a positive sign. We were greeted with kindness and personality, and after perusing the menu, we asked the waiter for advice, who suggested some off-menu dishes. We also chose the pappardelle with black truffle, which had just arrived: we saw it with our own eyes as they were preparing it. A truly pleasant experience, made special by the care and quality of the products.

Several dishes on the menu were only partially available or unavailable due to a lack of certain ingredients. Overall, the food tasted okay. The waiters were friendly. Pizza was unavailable at lunch. The place certainly doesn't deserve one star, but not more than three. I don't know if I'll return, but if I do, I hope to have a better experience. I'm attaching a photo of the seafood linguine, which was certainly a generous portion, but the sauce was completely runny (the consistency of water). Note that clams were unavailable (as were other ingredients), so I hope this is an exception and not the norm. It should be noted that in the absence of clams, an extra langoustine and mussels were added, which was at least a welcome gesture. -------------- My experience in a nutshell: a wait of almost an hour for three plates of overcooked pasta, even though only about 15 people in total were there. I want to stress though that clams (clams) weren't available - like other ingredients - so I really hope the look of the dish is exceptional and not the norm. I must say that in the absence of clams, an extra scampo and some extra mussels were added, which was at the very least a thoughtful gesture. Oh and by the way I'm a local - I think it's worth mentioning it, just in case someone thinks that I'm a tourist and I know nothing about Italian cuisine.

An excellent restaurant offering a beautiful view of the Torre Archirafi sea, but above all, excellent seafood, including excellent fish served in a variety of ways. The attentive service was excellent, and last but not least, the owner's kindness and helpfulness were truly appreciated. Recommended for anyone looking for delicious seafood for lunch or dinner.

08/10/2025: We didn't really have an idea of ​​what we ordered but knew it was for 2 people and something with fish in it.. a bit of language confusion, and we thought it was something without pasta.. But wait a minute, we got a lot of food.. it was the best we had on our entire holiday.. it gets our warmest recommendations. A big shame that we were the only guests for the 2-3 hours we sat there..
