01/02/2026: Very nice restaurant in the center of Catania. It's located in an area where parking is quite difficult. I tried the seafood and I'd say I was very pleased. The staff was absolutely super professional and extremely kind.
05/01/2026: We booked our table here for the last dinner of our mini-vacation in Catania on the recommendation of the owner of our accommodation, and we have to thank her for having had an amazing culinary experience. We chose the selection of seafood appetizers—raw, hot, cold, and fried—accompanied by a small sample of caponata and an excellent basket of bread and sesame breadsticks, and were completely blown away by the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
The menu offered many other dishes, but we preferred to stop after the appetizers because, with so many courses arriving, we struggled to finish everything.
The final bill was high and average for similarly sized restaurants, but believe me, it's worth it! Highly recommended!

I've been coming here for 14 years now, and their consistent, good work is a testament to their professionalism. The icing on the cake are their homemade liqueurs, perfect for a delicious after-dinner treat. Highly recommended.
08/03/2026: Today, my wife and I had the pleasure of lunch at Trattoria Da Peppino.
We ordered the half menu, consisting of appetizers and two first courses.
What can I say? The place is well-kept and clean, the staff attentive and always available to answer any questions.
The food was excellent.
The cashier was an elderly lady, but with an enviable elegance.
I'm sure we'll be back.

15/02/2026: This ended up being our favourite meal in Sicily. We were welcomed with complimentary bruschetta, which immediately set the tone. The service was truly amazing — warm, thoughtful, and very homey. We ordered one pasta to share and they kindly split it into two bowls for us without even being asked. We also had mussels as an appetizer, and they swapped our plates so we could share easily.
The pasta was incredible, portions were generous, and everything felt made with care. We only found this place on our last day and really wish we had discovered it sooner. Such a comforting, memorable meal

04/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance while strolling along the Torre Archirafi seafront.
We were pleasantly surprised by the dishes on the menu: everything was fresh and good quality, with generous and flavorful appetizers. For our first course, we ordered the house specialty, shrimp and spider crab risotto...very, very good!
In short, if you're in the area, it's a must-try!
03/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2026 Lunch. An excellent seafood New Year's Eve lunch. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. The host was very kind and attentive. I recommend it and will be back.

A nice place facing the square with a large terrace.
We had pizzas, perhaps not exceptional, but still good.
There were some service hiccups, but that can happen when there's a lot of people to look after.
And it wasn't Saturday night!
The prices seemed reasonable.
20/11/2025: Nice restaurant in the seaside area.
On a winter Monday, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Good food and super friendly staff.
Recommended!

25/02/2026: The meatballs with lemon leaves and pork in sauce represent a perfect balance between tradition and the identity of the Giarre area. The citrusy note of the lemon leaves is not invasive, but works in the background, enhancing the natural sweetness of the pork and creating a distinctive aromatic signature. The same goes for the pork in sauce. Highly recommended.
21/02/2026: The place feels like home… The photos hanging there testify to the strong connection with Etna and Sicily! The pizza and meat are truly delicious… You have to try them! The service is excellent and, despite the crowd, they were very quick. Recommended.

Small place, best to book in advance.
16/02/2026: Maybe something went wrong, but my experience wasn't positive. All the first courses had a spicy flavor, even the simple pasta with clams—strange. It wasn't possible to remove the spicy element from the dish, and my wife chose pasta with tuna. I would have expected fresh tuna in Catania, especially in a trattoria.
