15/10/2025: Antonio and Claudio are very warm hosts. I immediately felt welcomed, like I was staying with friends. The food is freshly prepared and tastes delicious. I will definitely return on my next visit to Cagliari.

14/10/2025: We ate on the street in front of the restaurant on a covered spot. . The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was good and fresh. The price level was good for the local level. Even the downpour did not affect the food or service.

03/10/2025: Excellent service, the waitress incredibly attentive. A very good, fresh, high-quality fish dish. To finish, a fantastic tiramisu, highly recommended!

02/10/2025: Unfortunately, no star is not an option. We wanted to have a leisurely dinner at this restaurant on October 2, 2025 (7:30 p.m.), but it was a complete disaster. Not only was the language barrier a problem, but we could only have gotten dishes that weren't really to our taste. For example, the menu was full of delicious dishes, but they seemed to lack interest. This is a bit surprising, because I actually thought every customer counted. So we left the restaurant.

14/10/2025: We were welcomed very well, the place has an excellent internal and external space, we tasted fregola allo scoglio and tagliolini with squid ink with courgette flowers and clams, the fried cod and the mussels alla marinara are also worth it, the malandrino deserves my 🔝🔝🔝

30/09/2025: I had the special of the day: fresh tagliolini with clams and porcini mushrooms (a combination I'd never tried before). This alone deserves five stars. But everything else was also up to par. Well done!

06/10/2025: Upon arrival, friendliness reigns supreme. The varied menu is within the reach of us tourists. The first courses express the message the Chef wants to convey: his passion for crafting and enhancing the flavors on the plate. The result is a delight for the taste buds. It evokes the flavors of home cooking when grandmothers and mothers weren't in a rush to serve, but the satisfaction of having everyone savor and finish their dishes. Even the "scarpetta" (breadcrumbs) is not very elegant, but it had to be done. I highly recommend it. Thanks again to the Chef, and keep up the good work.

05/10/2025: I read a positive review from a Pole. He mentioned a friendly Polish waitress. Despite the large crowd and the waiters, we found her, so we were happy. The food was served quickly. €60 for three people with coffee and beer. The place is very pleasantly located by the beach. Poet's Beach is exceptionally long, the sea turquoise, and the sand is almost as soft as the Baltic Sea. 😊 I can recommend it.

05/10/2025: A very nice atmosphere and a great view. Unfortunately, the staff ignored us and constantly had to ask for our attention. The pizza wasn't particularly good.

05/10/2025: I went for the first time this evening with friends. It was a wonderful surprise. The food is delicious, with typical local dishes and traditional Cagliari dishes. The staff is professional, speaks other languages, and is attentive. I can only recommend it, and we will definitely be back to try other dishes. A well-deserved 5 stars.

An extraordinary place, worth preserving because it's rare these days to find such a level of excellence at such reasonable prices. My only suggestion, and really, a wish: don't change. 29/09/2025: A high price for a standard, old-fashioned, but charmless city-center hotel. Staff unfriendly, jaded, and unmotivated. The terrace is unusable in the evening due to an extremely noisy outdoor fan. Disappointing value for money.

13/10/2025: A bit hidden away, but fantastic. Beautifully presented, a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere, excellent food, and superb cuisine. To finish, we had a Caffè Corretto San Buco. Absolutely delicious.

08/10/2025: Recommended by a local, this restaurant was a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is quiet and intimate, perfect for those traveling with children. We were two adults with an 11-month-old baby: the waitress was attentive, helpful, and helped us find dishes suitable for him. We shared an appetizer and a first course, then two second courses (one off the menu) recommended based on seasonality. All the fish dishes were excellent: very fresh, carefully cooked, and truly delicious. The house wine was also excellent. We finished with a homemade seada and a glass of myrtle: a perfect finale. We felt welcomed and at ease, which isn't always a given when traveling with a small, lively child. Excellent food, quality fish, and impeccable service. Highly recommended—and if we return to the area, they'll definitely see us again!

12/10/2025: A friendly restaurant with excellent food. We visited twice: the first time we ordered two courses, the second time we ordered the "gigante" pizzas—they are truly enormous, delicious, and very reasonably priced. The multi-course meal was also authentic and a delight. The price for ordering multiple courses was also reasonable, especially compared to the more touristy restaurants in the center of Villasimius. The fact that locals eat at Santa Maria speaks volumes. Our dog was also welcome. Advance reservations are recommended. It gets very busy right away when it opens, but things relax later in the evening. Highly recommended!

22/09/2025: Good food, pleasant atmosphere, inattentive service, we felt abandoned for more than 20 minutes after the second course and when I complained we were verbally attacked by the owner.
