29/10/2025: This seafood restaurant is highly recommended online and by acquaintances, but it's a bit overrated. The appetizers were plentiful, but, aside from the octopus, they were mediocre. The tomato flavor of the fregola pasta overpowered the seafood. The service was quick, but the interior was very crowded and noisy.

25/10/2025: We had lunch here and I can't understand the rave reviews, but everyone has their own tastes. They begged us for appetizers: we were served a sardine (half each) and a first course that left us wanting. Terrible value for money. As they say: we've put a stop to it! NEVER AGAIN.

14/03/2025: After five years, I reiterate my previous review: A variety of fresh fish, reasonable prices, excellent ready-made dishes, and exceptional sauces. The place is very clean, and the management is always courteous and helpful. I'd also add that they were fantastic in advising me on the menu and the quantities to purchase so I could cook without waste for a wonderful lunch for ten guests.

15/10/2025: Locanda di Baccalamanza (wedding on October 10, 2025) We fell in love with Locanda di Baccalamanza as soon as we saw it: we didn't feel the need to look elsewhere, because it was the place we had always imagined. Antonella and Enrico welcomed us with warmth, helpfulness, and rare professionalism, making us immediately feel at home. We chose the carob garden, an intimate and refined location, where the green lawn is illuminated by a thousand strings of light bulbs. The soft lighting and natural elegance of the space created a magical and sophisticated atmosphere. We opted for a modern, lounge style, avoiding traditional static tables, to create a dynamic and youthful reception, just how we wanted it. The staff was impeccable: discreet, attentive, and always smiling. Everyone felt at ease, and every request—even last-minute ones—was met with kindness and precision. A special thanks goes to Antonella, who, with her sensitivity and passion, managed to convey warmth and emotion, making our wedding truly unique and unforgettable.

04/10/2025: I work there often, photographing some of the weddings held at the inn. I've always had a great experience, the staff is always extremely kind and helpful, the food is delicious, lunch and dinner times are respected to perfection, and the spaces are well-maintained and elegant. I highly recommend it.

16/11/2025: Excellent food, beautifully plated, and decent portions. The place wasn't exactly spotless, with a few cobwebs and a bit of a mess near the bathrooms. The bill was fair, prices were average. I should start by saying that the room was empty; there were seven of us. The overall experience would have been more than positive if it hadn't been for the waitress's attitude when I told her we wouldn't be splitting the bill equally, but rather based on our orders. From that moment on, the waitress never left the table, appearing nervous and impatient, seeming annoyed that we were arguing among ourselves and, to boot, meddling in our accounts. This attitude left us very perplexed, ruining the good feeling we were feeling when we left the table. Service: 0. Too bad...

06/11/2025: We stayed in Pula for 3 weeks and had dinner and aperitivi here on a number of occasions. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and we always received a warm welcome. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend, we loved it!

06/12/2025: Of all the different dishes I tried, everything was quite good. The freshness of the salmon tartare could be improved... you don't mess around with raw fish. Furthermore, it needs to be kept at a constant, cool temperature... The self-service is very convenient and quick, with no waiting for the waiter to take your order.

06/11/2025: We had lunch on Wednesday for my mother-in-law's birthday. The place is rustic, no frills, but still impressive. You go to a place like this to eat excellent fresh fish. You eat whatever's available: octopus with potatoes, bites, mussels, and grilled and fried fish—all delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't have the burrida because I'm allergic to nuts, but I made up for it with the rest. Congratulations!

05/11/2025: 1 STAR because it's intolerable that a public establishment decides to open or not open "just like that" based on who knows what. This happened Thursday evening, November 5th, with several potential customers waiting until 9 pm.

11/08/2025: Très bon restaurant, nous y étions en famille, le personnel a été très gentil et attentionné avec nous et nos enfants, pas de menu enfants mais ils ont fait un plat spécialement pour eux, Le service a été assez rapide et les plats délicieux, Je recommande

08/08/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato a Quartu Sant’Elena per una settima e abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante per ben tre volte. Abbiamo sempre mangiato pesce e la qualità dei piatti era veramente altissima. Disponibili molti piatti senza glutine o comunque riadattabili. Il personale era molto attento alla celiachia oltre ad essere molto professionali e simpatici, ma non invadenti. Consigliatissimo!! Piatto secondo me più buono: pasta con astice!

05/10/2025: Delicious meal, everything we tried was good. Especially enjoyed the bottarga pasta and mix grill fish. We also tried the Sardinian cheese with honey, tiramisu, and caramelizad pears for dessert and all were amazing.

14/09/2025: I've been to this restaurant three or four times, but this time I was disappointed. I love the "pesci sogliola alla Parmigiana" (a dish on the menu), so I suggested going with my family. We ordered mussels, fried fish, spaghetti vongole con bottarga, and sogliola con Parmigiana. The fish was fresh and everything was delicious. However, the behavior of one male waiter made this dining experience extremely unpleasant. While waiting for my food, I asked a nearby waiter to take a photo. He was very reluctant, tapping his finger repeatedly on my phone, then glaring at me as he handed it back. I had a nasty look on my face. When I checked my phone later, I was shocked to see that he had taken 18 photos in a row! It was clearly a deliberate attempt to annoy me, and it was a completely different experience from anything I've ever had before. I was left feeling extremely uncomfortable and saddened by the whole meal. In contrast, I was impressed by another waiter who kindly took a photo for a customer at a nearby table, smiling and taking it for him. I was looking forward to the dinner party, but this left me feeling sad, and I probably won't be going to this restaurant again.
