16/01/2025: Italy is one of the countries where eels are often eaten, and I have heard that Sardinia in particular is famous for its high-level eel cuisine. You, eel lovers, can eat salt-grilled eels at the restaurant all the time without any adavance pre−order. Simple yet deep flavor (amazing!). The high−quality dish using eels with moderate fat content is not only delicious but also looks gorgeous. Japanese eel Kabayaki (a kind of Teriyaki) is one of my favorite cuisines from around the world, but the salt-grilled eel there is just as good. Eating it there will make you realize that eel dishes from all over the world are still super delicious, even if they are made from different types of eels or cooked in different ways. Lastly, don't forget to order the French fries, as most regular customers do.

08/01/2025: A place where mainly local residents come. Efficient and friendly service. All the dishes we ate (pasta and calamari) were very tasty. Next time we are in Cagliari, we will definitely visit this place :)

15/12/2024: Our meals were delicious and the seafood very fresh. I particularly enjoyed the tuna carpaccio, artichokes and mushrooms. The entrance is discreet but once inside it is very comfortable. The staff were very professional and just the right balance of friendly and attentive. Martinelli’s was recommended to us by locals and I can understand why this is the restaurant they love to come back to ! It’s a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

07/03/2025: Just bad luck? I hadn't been to "Balena" for 30 years, and I had good memories of it. Finally, on the occasion of the visit of two couples of Roman friends, I decide to book a table for 10 people, also given the good reviews. Unfortunately we left very dissatisfied, and me more than anyone. Mussels (insufficient portions for 10 people) reduced to a minimum perhaps due to having left them to cook too much? So much so that many shells were empty and you could find the tiny mussel in the cooking broth. The Burrida? Insufficient. Tasteless and nutty with the scale. The octopus is good and the tuna is the same. But I would also have expected some other starters. And well! The mixed fry arrives and what should I say? A few squid, some small fish and a myriad of small shrimp. It certainly won't remain in my memories. Sin! I hoped to make a good impression on the Roman guests by taking them to a historic trattoria in Cagliari. Price €30.

16/02/2025: Amazing atmospehere and service. We loved how the owner was taking the orders by himself, smalltalking, explaining the dishes. Food was exceptional. We highly recommend this restautant.

25/01/2025: I had dinner with Roberto in this restaurant, well-prepared and very fresh food, fast and appropriate service We got 2 appetizers fish, octopus soppressata and prawn cocktail, delicious Then a first course and a grilled meal8 Abundant and very good. The place outside was nice, but in short they put us at a table behind a column, I didn't like that.

15/10/2024: We enjoyed a very nice evening here twice. The food and ambience were all great and the very nice Swiss boss came over for an interesting conversation.

21/03/2025: If you want to eat excellent fish cooked in an almost perfect way, like at home, at an acceptable price, this is your restaurant. Unfortunately it is only open for dinner and you need to book in advance

07/02/2025: Ancora una volta come stare e mangiare in famiglia. Uscire dal ristorante felice di aver mangiato e bevuto bene con giuste qualità e quantità, pagando il giusto e digerendo bene. Insomma ancora uno dei miei preferiti a Cagliari.

30/01/2025: The octopus knew nothing. From the consistency it seemed frozen but I don't know that. Poorly cleaned clams. The pasta wasn't bad but it tasted more like garlic and oil than clams. Mostly oil. €42 for a starter, two first courses and water.

27/11/2024: I'm in Cagliari and I look on my phone and I find a restaurant with flavors of the past, excellent French fries, excellent octopus salad, excellent spaghetti with prawns and artichokes, I recommend you try it to believe the true flavors of the past, I'll be back as soon as possible thanks to you all

30/09/2024: Posso solo dire che siamo stati benissimo, siamo andati sabato con degli amici dopo aver prenotato per le 21, alle 21,30 stavamo mangiando in tranquillità. Il servizio eccellente i ragazzi della sala sono molto simpatici e disponibili ad ogni richiesta. La pizza era buonissima e digeribile ed il conto assolutamente giusto per niente eccessivo. Consiglio vivamente di provare il locale, la pizza e il ristorante, almeno una volta ma vedrete che ci si ritorna sicuramente. Grazie mille di tutto.
