18/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel with two children for three nights in mid-October. Check-in was very pleasant. They explained to us which direction the wind would be blowing in the next few days and which beaches they recommended. The in-house restaurant was a dream in terms of food, so we spent two evenings there. The service staff was also very good. Whether at meals or at reception, the staff were always friendly. That's unfortunately still rare in Germany. And I trained as a hotel manager myself and always look at the restaurant industry with a strict eye. I like to find something to complain about. ;-) Not at this hotel, however. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't heated. But that didn't bother my husband and children. The rooms were cleaned daily. There were more than enough towels. You could borrow umbrellas, toys, etc. for the beach. The Wi-Fi was faster than at home. The city center was a 15-minute walk away. It was the perfect location for us. The nearest beaches are a 5-minute drive away, the city center and supermarket are 2 minutes away, and the location is quiet with a view of the mountains.

18/10/2025: The rooms are a bit dated, but this is more than compensated for by the overall package and, above all, the incredible friendliness and humanity of the staff. -Eating in the restaurant in the evening is highly recommended 👍🏽 -Superbly maintained grounds and a beautiful (unheated) pool 👍🏽 -There are several cats living on the property, and when our children wanted to pet them, a staff member was immediately on hand to give them small treats to entice them 👍🏽 -When one of our children injured his knee, he received immediate help, the wound was cleaned, and he was given a hug. You could really feel the humanity shown to you🫶🏼 -Moderate breakfast buffet, but you don't need more than that 👍🏽 -Really good location, great advice on beaches, etc. 👍🏽 Highly recommended, many thanks to everyone involved with the hotel.

15/09/2025: Spectacular location with a beautiful view of the bay. The new management isn't even close to the previous one, which provided such a strong gastronomic experience. The only thing that remains of the previous management is the prices, which were previously motivated by the quality of the service and the food. The only positive note was the spectacular view on a beautiful day.

03/08/2025: Il ristorante Il Marino, a Puntaldia, colpisce inizialmente con un bellissimo locale, curato nei dettagli e piacevole da vedere. Anche il servizio è impeccabile: personale rapido, gentile, presente. Una volta arrivati i piatti, l’esperienza cambia radicalmente. Il menù è un trionfo di salse, riduzioni, creme, aceto balsamico – tutto, a mio avviso, fuorché il gusto vero degli ingredienti, in particolare del pesce. I sapori risultano coperti, standardizzati, privi di identità. Piatti figli di una cucina che sembra puntare più all’effetto visivo che alla sostanza. Si ha la sensazione di una proposta pensata per piacere a tutti e finire nel dimenticatoio subito dopo. Io non lo consiglierei.

19/08/2025: When we booked, we were asked if we had any allergies. We mentioned the type of allergy, but when we ordered, we weren't recommended a dish for the allergy we'd communicated. Because it's a high-end restaurant, we expected a different treatment. I don't recommend it to people with allergies.

07/10/2025: Wonderful little place, you feel welcomed and cared for. Professional and very friendly waiters... We tried both meat and seafood, and for starters, two carbonaras, both delicious and tasty... For main course, we chose a mixed fried fish dish, delicate, not greasy... really good!!!!! I recommend it!!!! Top marks from us!

26/07/2025: Premetto che non abbiamo prenotato il tavolo e alla mia richiesta di disponibilita' di un tavolo per 4 l'atteggiamento del cameriere non e' stato il migliore ma successivamente ho capito che manteneva un certo distacco per contribuire a dare un tono di eleganza al sito. Ci siamo accomodati in 4 + cagnolino in terrazza con vista panoramica sulla scogliera e su parte di Alghero, solo quella vista valeva il .."biglietto". Abbiamo consumato una frittura di calamari ( 23 euro) , due bistecche di pescespada (24 Euro ) e una bistecca di tonno ( 24 euro) . tutto molto buono con cottura alla griglia. Nel complesso aggiungendo coperto per 4 e 1 bottiglia di acqua e un solo tiramisu ( 5 euro) ( purtroppo ultima porzione disponibile) conto da 125,00 euro, nella media per Alghero. Esperienza comunque molto positiva sia per il sito che per il cibo e il servizio. Unico appunto: capisco che si voglia dare un certo tono al Ristorante, pero' maggiore empatia con un sorriso in piu' da parte del personale non significherebbe degradare il livello dello stesso. Apprezzamento per il giovane e riccioluto cameriere che ci ha servito l'unica porzione di tiramisu ( a fronte delle 4 richieste) con 4 cucchiaini... e qualche sorriso !

06/07/2025: Che dire il posto è carino in ottima posizione la qualità del cibo tutto sommato non è male ma il servizio è totalmente inadeguato. Prima non porta l'acqua poi il pane dopo un ora ci servono il secondo ma non erano arrivati gli antipasti. Insomma un disastro se consideriamo il conto €360 in 5 direi che non lo consiglierei a nessuno. Incapaci.

28/09/2025: We waited around 1 hour and 30 mins for our food to arrive. Worst service I ever had in Italy. Don’t come to this place you will waste your time and money.

09/07/2025: Si fa fatica a descrivere l esperienza vissuta in questo ristorante. La posizione è carina, ma appena si mette piede nel ristorante si ha l impressione che tutto sia un po’ lasciato al caso. Seduti al regalo arriva il primo cameriere che ci chiede solo se volevamo dell acqua. Dopo un po’ arriva il secondo chiediamo un piatto fuori menù: una tartare di tonno. Dopo aver chiesto al maitre di sala, allo chef ci arriva. Presentazione molto casalinga qualità buona. Ai primi un flop totale. Risotto e fregola piatti senza un minimo di sapore. Pago un conto di ca 150€ per una tartare, due primi, 2 tagliate di anguria e 2 calici di vino. Il dopo è ancora più assurdo. Poi aver lasciato il locale ci raggiunge il maitre di sala e ci chiede se dal conto poteva togliere il primo che non avevamo mangiato. Allucinante

16/09/2024: Cercavo un posto dove mangiarmi un bel piatto vista mare e camminando lungo mare ho visto questo posto così bello pieno di alberi una presenza proprio da mare 🤩 entrando mi sono innamorato sempre di più e tempo zero ci ha accolto un signore che penso sia uno dei responsabili super gentile ed elegante proprio come il posto .. posso dire una cosa la qualità non ha prezzo perché questa frase perché un po’ costano ma almeno si mangia davvero davvero bene.. sembrerebbe un posto turistico ma davvero buono quindi super consigliato⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

08/09/2024: A very nice evening with good music. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is very friendly. Beach club during the day and restaurant after 8 p.m. in the evening. Parking is available across the street.

19/07/2025: Gran sudata nella bella veranda affacciata sul mare . Calamaro arrosto imbarazzante e al limite del commestibile. Un pezzo di gomma ! …patate arrosto che in realtà sono bollite e poi passate al forno e servite in una ciotola colma d’olio . Discreta la pizza … COSÌ NON VA BENE , NON TORNEREMO

27/09/2025: The food was definitely not good, and we had problems afterward. Small portions combined with high prices. The price-to-value ratio was catastrophic. When we paid, they tried to overcharge us by 10 euros. After three years of vacationing in Sardinia, this is the absolute worst restaurant. Beware of tourist rip-offs!!! Please don't fall for the positive (Italian) reviews!!!

02/10/2025: Despite spending around €250 for dinner for two, they refused to remove an appetizer we ordered and didn’t like. It was literally €35 for 4 small pieces of bite-sized zucchinis with what tasted like a fish paste filling inside. We ate one each and left the rest. The manager came to ask if we didn’t like it. After telling him we didn’t like it he took our plates away in what seemed like a “I’ll remove these from your bill sorry you didn’t like it” kind of way, and asked if we would like something else but later included it in the bill. When I asked if it could be removed he said that he would ask and came to say no (he just said he would ask but didn’t ask anyone I could tell), saying that we ate half of it and for that reason they would charge us for it (how else would we try something with 4 small pieces). Terrible experience, extremely small portions, and bad food. Don’t go here unless you want to be treated with fake and greedy hospitality.

27/09/2025: A truly charming place, with a location designed down to the smallest detail and a perfect atmosphere made even more special by the DJ's music in the background. The food is simply sublime, every dish a true taste experience. We felt pampered by the staff, always attentive and smiling. A special mention goes to the young man with the curly hair; we didn't get his name, but his kindness and helpfulness made our evening even more enjoyable. Thank you.

11/10/2025: The pizzas at the Bella Napoli Restaurant are delicious. Pleasant location in Alghero's old town, with a beautiful terrace. Friendly staff.

10/09/2025: The food was okay, the service rather poor despite the incredible amount of staff milling around, and the prices were outrageously expensive. A coperto of €1.50 per person is fine, but then an additional 10% table service on top? I've never experienced that in my many years in Italy.

16/10/2025: A lovely restaurant. The view, overlooking the sea and the beach, is clearly the highlight. The place itself is fairly classic, with standard and helpful service and average food, some good, others below expectations.

16/10/2025: Terrible service, rude and very uninterested waiters, they charged us for 4 covers even though we didn't all eat, they welcomed us very badly by rudely moving a table that we had attacked since there was no room on a single table, very beautiful location, shame about the poor management of the restaurant.
