14/05/2025: In the enchanting bay of Cala Sapone, the very nice place. New managers, very kind and friendly, as are the rest of the waiting staff and the chef. We tried the spaghetti with clams and sea urchins, perfect!!! And then, the view of the cove while enjoying the menu... what can I say.... We spent the whole day on their little beach, enjoying the sea, relaxing on the loungers that Andrea promptly set up for us. Thanks Luca, thanks Andrea for this beautiful day. We'll be back soon!

10/05/2025: ⛔️ 💀 ‼️ GO YOUR WAY ‼️ ⚠️🚨 🚫 I strongly do not recommend this establishment to those who expect a minimum of honesty, professionalism, customer respect... and reasonable portions for the price. I feel obliged to republish a review, because I cannot respond to the owner's response, which distorts reality and adopts a mocking and contemptuous tone. Contrary to what he claims, the dish I received did not contain any sea urchins or clams, but simply spaghetti (in a very small quantity) with a little bottarga. The waiter himself told us that it was 100g of pasta, and that “it was the norm, sometimes even 80g”. My companion also reported that the portion was really light at the end of the meal. At no time were we offered a supplement or a “bis”, contrary to what the owner’s response full of innuendo suggests. I find the tone of his response particularly inappropriate and disrespectful, mixing emojis, mockery and insinuations, as if the problem came from us. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in the restaurant industry. I am leaving a detailed review here, because the restaurateur's responses end up being deleted, but it seems important to me to reestablish the truth and leave a clear trace of our exchange. I first wrote this comment: “€18 for 100g of pasta, it’s shameful. » The restaurateur then replied to me (translation): “Hello Myriam! Pasta alone doesn't cost €18 here. With sea urchins and clams, yes 😅. To be precise, the portion is approximately 120g, seasoned with sea urchins…” To which I responded, specifying the facts: I would like to point out that the dish I received did not contain sea urchins or clams, contrary to what you claim. It was simply about 100g of spaghetti with bottarga sauce. Offering such a light portion for €18 is completely unjustified. This type of practice seriously harms the image of your establishment. Here is the restaurateur's second response, translated from Italian: “We respond to your change of opinion: no one has ever complained about the portions (they are not 100g, but more); It’s not a bottarga sauce, it’s bottarga. The price of spaghetti bottarga is not €18, but lower. We are not an “all you can eat” place, and if you were expecting 250g of pasta, we are not the place for you :) We use quality products, not “sauces” as you seem to suggest 😉. Our image will not be tarnished by unjustified reviews, because we are certain of the quality (and quantity) of our products. 16/09/2024: Ci abbiamo messo un po’ ma 2 righe a questo posto merita….10 giorni in Sardegna e l unico posto dove abbiamo mangiato pesce fresco…..per noi è stata una bella scoperta,scegliere il pesce che vuoi è molto bello e per le mie bimbe è stato molto curioso !!titolare super disponibile e gentile …..complimenti e a prestissimo,un saluto da marisol ,Eloa e un abbraccio da Parma!!ps: dimenticavo ho apprezzato molto la vostra pescheria perché è come sentirsi a casa e dietro le quinte c’è tanto impegno ,lavoro e stanchezza !!grazie e a presto.

11/02/2025: Sono stata a cena in questa pizzeria con mio marito, abbiamo ordinato due pizze semplici una Margherita e l altra al tonno. Sono arrivate dopo ben 45 minuti praticamente fredde e immangiabile. La peggior pizza che abbia mai mangiato, le abbiamo assaggiate e lasciate sul piatto. Pessimo anche il servizio nessuno che ci abbia chiesto spiegazioni. Pagato il conto e fatto croce.

09/09/2024: Vulgar and poor food. Very very bad quality-price ratio. Incompetent staff, dirty and paperless bathrooms, musty terrace chairs. A complete nonsense of a place. I spent 8 nights in Algero, dining in restaurants and this is undoubtedly the worst. I won't repeat it, you can do what you want but there is a lot more on offer light years away from this club. My biggest 😞 disappointment.

03/09/2024: We had a reservation for 6 people - waiting time of over 40 minutes, 1 dish arriving at a time with 10 minutes more waiting between each dish, which were pretty good nonetheless. To our great surprise, the waiter arrived after 5 dishes had been served to tell us that the 6th had not been made by the chef.. One person therefore found himself without eating - not a word of apology from from the server, honestly the worst service I have ever been offered and we are far from difficult.. To avoid

On top of that, the service felt hurried and careless — waiters would leave while we were still speaking to tend to other tables. If you’re hoping to enjoy genuine Italian food, you’re better off going elsewhere. This place isn’t worth your time.

05/10/2024: Ho consigliato a parenti londinesi questo locale,ricordando il precedente “Mangianotte” Mia cugina è rimasta sconvolta dal conto,ma non basta….abbiamo mangiato pesce surgelato e di pessima qualità’.Poca scelta e signora sgorbutica.Assolutamente da evitare!!!!Che brutta figura,con tanti ristoranti di autentica qualità’ a Portorotondo.

23/09/2024: I booked over an email and got a reply very quickly, for a table for 8, and confirming on the day by text. The restaurant is at the south side of the harbour and has views of the sea and the harbour. It’s really beautiful, especially at night with the lights on. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, and the service from the family run business is super. Great cocktails. Lovely Sardinian wine too. Highly recommend it.

10/02/2025: De locatie van het restaurant is perfect echt een schitterend uitzicht echter duurde het 20 minuten voordat het personeel wat ons al een tijd had zien zitten de moeite nam om ons te bedienen. De bestelde calamaris was prima van smaak zoals ook het locale brood. Na betaling vroeg ik waar hun toilet was dat bleek iets terug in straat te zijn in een gebouwtje het toilet voldeed op geen enkele wijze van wat men zou mogen verwachten van een restaurant op deze locatie.

29/01/2025: Very panoramic point, refined atmosphere. The waitress was very kind, the boy less so. That said, very good fish indeed. We took both first and second courses with some side dishes. We have been there more than once, In the first everything is truly perfect... in the others "Ni". fish always good but the dishes were not the same... the pasta was too far ahead in cooking, the scampi in the pasta were raw, we point it out and are told that they must be like this... I doubt it since on the other occasions everything was cooked to perfection . High bill but well motivated by the location, the period (August) and the dishes chosen. In conclusion: excellent restaurant, just be careful not to catch the wrong evening.

03/05/2025: Nous y sommes allés déjeuner le 30 avril Commandé deux filets de Saint-Pierre (67€ tout de même) qui sont arrivés... froids Dommage car ils était bons Avec la bouteille de vin blanc j'ai dû demander un bac à glaçons pour ne pas qu'elle devienne... chaude Et pour les cafés ils sont arrivés avant les desserts et on les a bus... froids ! Serveur sympa mais ne parlant qu'Italien, comme la plupart du temps en Sardaigne Donc pour 2h plus que 100€ dans un endroit quelconque ce n'est pas un bon plan

27/05/2025: Positiv war, dass wir für unsere beiden Kids kein Gedeck zahlen mussten, da diese schon gegessen hatten und nichts mehr bestellt haben. Essen war gut aber die Frage die ich mir stelle ist ob man für die Beilage im Foto 8 Euro zahlen muss ….

07/08/2024: Terrible food and poor service. We ordered the "Gran Grigliata" and the waitress ensured that it was all fresh fish from the catch of the day. We received a dish with salmon (in Sardinia?) Argentine shrimp (ditto?) and other very poor quality fish. Absolutely not recommended

31/07/2024: Esperienza negativa il servizio è stato scadente,nonostante il locale non fosse particolarmente pieno, così come gli antipasto e i primi.

19/05/2025: Attirati dal menù sagra del pilau decidiamo di provare, unica nota positiva la freschezza degli alimenti, ma il servizio è lentissimo, passano anche 30 minuti tra un antipasto e un primo, quantità veramente scarsa, in due ci hanno servito dei piatti che anche per una sola persona erano poco, antipasto con 5 cozze a testa, primo con pilau alla granceola, troppo brodoso e tra l'altro c'erano solo due zampette della granceola, secondo fritto di paranza, c'erano 4 calamaretti e 5 mini gamberetti, acqua e caffe, per 30 euro a persona, in più il coperto di 3 euro a parte, mai visto, in genere è incluso nel menù.

18/05/2025: Pessima esperienza nella sera dedicata al pilau nonostante la disponibilità del personale, unica nota positiva. Piatti poveri per non parlare della frittura surgelata, e il salasso del conto, il cuoco /titolare che urlava con il personale. Peccato non avere fatto foto delle pietanze e del conto.

26/04/2025: Eravamo stati in questo ristorante lo scorso anno, non sappiamo se ha cambiato menù o è cambiato lo chef, in entrambi i casi, l'esperienza è bypassabile. Il primo piatto, ai crostacei era obiettivamente buono ma nulla di eccezionale per cui varrebbe la pena tornare. Lo sarebbe stato se da corollario ci fossero state altre cose. Nel menu' c'è poca scelta, il che di solito non è mai una nota negativa, poiché ci si può concentrare su pochi piatti e materie prime di buona qualità. Ad ogni modo, nel menù manca la varietà fra i pochi piatti presenti e, obiettivamente, un tocco di creatività che si aspetterebbe in una location simile, che, onestamente, è bellissima. Frittura da rimandare, gommosa. Il dolce, a 7 euro, era pratica un savoiardo con attorno della panna e una spolverata di cacao amaro, come la cena: costosa, ma soddisfacente al 40%.

25/04/2025: Torno in questo locale dopo un po’ di tempo e ho conferma delle positive esperienze passate . Ottima accoglienza, su consiglio del titolare prendiamo un guazzetto di cozze ed una fregola ai frutti di mare, cozze strepitose e fregola straordinaria, materie prime ottime . Complimenti.
