14/05/2026: My daughter and I spent three days in Turin, and Amici Miei became our go-to spot. The welcome was outstanding, the staff were always smiling, and the food made us want to come back (which we did). The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Turin. Many thanks, and we hope to see you again soon.

11/05/2026: I LOVE Max Pomodoro. The food is absolutely delicious, there's a huge variety of dishes, and the service is impeccable. The owner is truly lovely! I highly recommend trying the following dishes: agnolotti al vecchio Piemonte, grilled potatoes, porcini risotto, and, above all, the fried calamari and shrimp!

05/05/2026: We've been to the restaurant four times: three for lunch and once for dinner. We ordered the fish menu, and I must say the fish served for lunch has always been fresh. When we went for dinner, the fish was less fresh, and we were surprised by this lack of style. The restaurant is spacious and suitable for both individuals and groups. The decor is traditional, and the tables are adequately spaced, so it's not noisy and you can easily converse with your fellow diners. The service has always been good, fast, and attentive. The menu is varied, including both meat and seafood. The pizzas leave a bit to be desired. The coffee is good. One small drawback is the restrooms, which are not on the same floor, but in the basement. There's also a lovely, recently renovated outdoor area.

08/06/2026: Terrible. The strong smell of detergent in the dining room put me in a bad mood as soon as I entered, especially not as bad as the calamari arrosticini (the name itself is hilarious). Calamari skewers served breaded without warning, probably to hide their poor quality. You can eat really well in Turin, but not here.

16/04/2026: Today, our cousins ​​from Turin took us to this small but intimate restaurant. The service was excellent, the dishes were cooked with love and served with love. The quality was superb, the Grillo wine was good. The price (I think it was fair), but it wasn't me who paid, but my cousin Pietro. Definitely recommended, and I recommend calling to reserve. Rating: 10

26/04/2026: We've been your customers since you opened, and Sunday evening pizza is a must. We've had many lunches and birthdays there, but yesterday we celebrated my son's First Communion. We were literally pampered by all of you. You gave us the entire outdoor area for us, and the food was impeccable, as always. The waiters were always kind, especially Mrs. Simona, who went above and beyond. All my guests felt at home. Thank you for making my son's First Communion special!

03/05/2026: I'd give the service 6 stars if I could ♥️ Two waitresses in particular were very attentive to my pregnancy, especially when choosing desserts. They exceeded all expectations by offering me a practically personalized dessert—truly admirable! The pizza was excellent and easy to digest (buffalo mozzarella with charcoal) despite my digestive issues. It's worth noting that they seated us right away even without a reservation, despite the crowded dining room. The pasta dish was a little late compared to those who ordered pizza, but that's understandable. It was a truly enjoyable family evening 🥰 I'll be back with friends.

25/04/2026: Terrible experience: embarrassing farinata and nonexistent service We left La Livella with a bitter taste in our mouths, and not because of the food, but because of customer service that to call "scandalous" is an understatement. The food: The low point of the evening was undoubtedly the farinata. Calling it such is an insult to tradition: we were served something soggy, clearly reheated and not made fresh. An embarrassing product that shouldn't even be on the menu. The only negative rating was the pizza: absolutely normal, neither praise nor infamy, at least edible. The service (or rather, the lack thereof): This is where we enter the surreal. The service was completely nonexistent. • The staff was completely inattentive to the needs of the table. • No interest during the meal: no one ever approached to ask if we needed anything. • The highlight: after clearing the plates, we were left to be forgotten. After a 30-minute wait, no one came to offer coffee or dessert. After 40 minutes of total indifference, we decided to get up and leave. The bill: Even the payment was cold. In any minimally professional restaurant, the cashier asks if everything went well. Here, nothing. Conclusion: A truly negative experience. If you're looking for a place where you feel welcomed or eat a truly authentic farinata, stay away. Highly discouraged.

02/06/2026: There were nine of us on a Sunday evening with a reservation for 8:30 pm. The place was almost empty, so we expected fairly quick service, but we waited over an hour and a half. We ordered six farinatas and then all pizzas. Unfortunately, the pizza and farinata arrived at the same time. When we pointed out that the pizzas were supposed to arrive later, they said they'd remake them. Of the six farinatas, five arrived, and the sixth took another 40 minutes, so I asked them not to make it again, pointing out that the wait times for a nearly empty place were absurd. The owner came to the table, saying that a measly farinata would take at least 45 minutes. When the pizzas finally arrived, unfortunately, they were the ones made earlier and reheated, practically rubber. The waiter who came to clear the table, a gentleman who had been behind the counter all evening, not the guy who was serving tables along with a very kind and very mortified waitress, took the plates away, demanding that each diner pass him their plate, but without asking politely, making gestures toward the plate as if to say, "Come on, pass it to me." Very rude. Not recommended. It's a shame, we had already been there during the Christmas period and it hadn't been great. We wanted to try again, but they confirmed that it's not the right place.

11/05/2026: Evening with friends and my 8-year-old son. We had farinata and pizza. Both were very good. I personally had a whole-wheat focaccia and it was superb! The desserts were good but not exceptional and a bit pricey for the average. My son's only complaint was that he had to wait a long time for his pizza, which arrived after the rest of us, and since he's a child, he should be "privileged." Anyway, we'll definitely be back to try the food. Excellent choice.
