11/01/2026: Pizzeria al Confine in Turin I visited this place for an experience I'd been following on social media for a while, and I can say that in person, it's all absolutely authentic. As a food and baking connoisseur, I can't help but be impressed by the quality of the products and the passion and love that chef Biagio Valerio puts into every pizza. Flavors that leave you speechless, unlike so many other places, without any disappointment: here, what you see on social media is exactly what you get on your plate. I highly recommend this place; it's truly worth it.

In addition to classic pizzas (although that's a bit reductive, considering the variety of doughs and types), they offer carefully crafted tastings and truly extraordinary gourmet pizzas, made with exquisite ingredients and balanced combinations that bring out every flavor. The dough is light, fragrant, and HIGHLY digestible, a sign of great attention to detail and expertise. An equally fundamental asset is the staff: knowledgeable, professional, and above all extremely friendly, ready to explain every course and capable of making you feel at home from the very first moment. The owner immediately puts guests at ease, demonstrating his friendliness, kindness, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate any request without being intrusive. The set fish menu offers a wide variety, and all the dishes are satisfying, especially for those who, like my sister and I, love seafood. The service was perfect. Excellent value for money. They even offered a discount on the menu because I didn't order the first course, so the manager was also honest. A place I'll definitely return to. I recommend it.

17/08/2025: We ate with another couple of friends, enjoying a dinner we had purchased during a promotion. As soon as we arrived, we were told, "Tonight you just have to sit down, choose, eat well, and have fun," and so it was. We chose everything included in the promotion, from the same menu and in the same quantities as the other tables. There were no unpleasant surprises as often happens in other places with various promotions. The food was wonderful, and everything was impeccable, from the service to the friendliness. Choose this place for a dinner that's different from the usual. I don't usually review places, but this was a truly unique experience. The entire staff deserves top praise. Thank you so much for a fantastic evening. We will definitely be returning.

19/11/2025: Upon arriving at 9pm, we were left waiting at reception while the staff member finished a personal conversation. This immediately set the wrong tone. When we finally asked about an evening meal, we were told there was “no availability” because other guests had chosen to dine in. No effort was made to offer an alternative, no solutions were suggested, and we were simply directed to a local pizzeria. This level of indifference is unacceptable. A 4-star hotel should never leave guests without any dining options or basic consideration. Even a simple gesture—such as offering something light at the bar—would have demonstrated care and professionalism. We escalated the issue the following morning, yet the response from another colleague only reinforced the same dismissive attitude. Overall, the service we received was not only disappointing but far below what any guest should expect from a hotel of this rating, this simply ruined our short weekend break. "Date stayed Friday 14th for two nights"

01/02/2026: If you're driving near Fornovo Val di Taro, leave the highway and head to Osteria Le Vigne (Varano de' Melegari) and treat yourself to a truly excellent lunch or dinner. The atmosphere, food, and service are all top-notch, making you wonder why the service can't be this good everywhere. In any case, it's a very unique place that offers traditional Parmesan dishes with a touch of originality. Excellent ingredients expertly prepared. A carefully crafted food and wine list. And to top it all off, an absolutely reasonable bill. Well done. Don't change!! 👍

A trio of appetizers, a first course, a dessert, wine, and coffee are all for €25. The staff is very friendly.

We went for Christmas dinner and were very satisfied. The owner, Marco, was very friendly and welcoming, as were all the staff. The restaurant is very charming, well-maintained, and centrally located, easily accessible by car or public transportation. A well-deserved five stars!!! We'll definitely be back!!!

Super delicious and visually stunning dishes... I highly recommend it... Definitely worth returning... fair price for the quality of the products. I tried the Argentinean white wine... very good. An experience to repeat.

08/01/2026: I've been to La Luna twice, and both times I've had an extremely good experience. I should point out that I'm allergic to shellfish and mussels, as well as having other intolerances, so it's not always easy for me to find a restaurant that's prepared to accommodate these dietary concerns (especially in a restaurant that serves fish!). I must say that the staff's expertise and the kitchen's availability proved crucial in selecting dishes, allowing me to eat everything without the risk of cross-contamination. The restaurant also boasts a truly well-stocked wine cellar: from Piedmont, to Liguria, to Trentino, and finally to France. Needless to say, my experience both times was truly enjoyable. If I could, I'd give it 7 out of 5 stars! 😁
