13/03/2026: Good food and decent service. Unfortunately, the space is very small, which penalizes medium-sized tables. Definitely an experience worth trying. Reliable and convenient due to its strategic location for those traveling by train.

13/11/2025: Spectacular Italian-Persian restaurant! You can enjoy many traditional Iranian dishes, often with a touch of color and originality. The flavors are well-blended, never cloying or incomprehensible. From simple dishes to more sophisticated ones, you can't go wrong. And many Persian dishes aren't found in other similar restaurants! Ask the chef or the restaurant manager for guidance and recommendations. The selection of appetizers is excellent, as are the desserts! The price, for the quality, is very reasonable. Amazing place!

11/03/2026: We stopped for lunch. The place was clean, the service was good. The dishes were tasty, though not particularly original. The price was a bit high for what you got.
15/02/2026: We stopped for lunch, and even though it was almost time for them to close, we were welcomed like family.
The first courses (gnocchi and tagliolini) tasted homemade. For the second course, we had pork cheek with potatoes, which was so tender you could cut it with a fork.
The local wine they served by the glass (Ruché) was an excellent accompaniment.
At the end, they also offered us a spiced wine that was out of this world.
Excellent. We'll definitely be back.

21/09/2025: We stumbled upon Portico by chance; we couldn't have been luckier! A very elegant venue, impeccably clean, the waiters are friendly and brilliant without being intrusive, and very knowledgeable. But the 110 with honors undoubtedly goes to the food! Rarely have I eaten so well! Excellent quality ingredients, enhanced by the chef's skilled hands! Everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert, in generous quantities. The bill was also very fair.

08/03/2026: It had been recommended to me, but I was a little hesitant. I was pleasantly surprised; I left delighted with the appetizers, the delicious paella with its crispy bottom layer, and we can't forget the dessert. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and efficient. I'm going back to Turin in a month, and I'll definitely be back.

24/01/2026: It's always a pleasure for me and my family to come back here! We came back a few nights ago to eat there, and the next night my parents wanted to try their pizza! That was EXCELLENT too! Flavorful, tasty, and light (which is very important!). I had the pleasure of trying it a while ago through the convenient home delivery service. Very good! This evening, we're returning with two couples of dear friends, and I'm sure they'll be satisfied! The staff is always very courteous and professional! The products used are high-quality and carefully sourced! The owner is a very pleasant and helpful person, and his passion for what he does shines through! Which is very appreciated! Congratulations to everyone, and see you tonight!

07/01/2026: Family lunch with a pre-arranged set menu, very disappointing. The appetizer consisted of low-quality cured meats and little else. Everything was freezing cold straight out of the fridge. The risotto was the only dish that was adequate. The main course was cold and rubbery and tasted only of microwave. I was hoping to finish with Pinin's famous dessert, featuring gelato and various toppings, but this was also a disappointment: industrial-strength gelato full of ice cubes and frozen fruit. All this in a freezing cold dining room, despite being fully booked. Never again!

31/01/2026: Yesterday I went to this restaurant for the first time. It was a beautiful place. The two of us ate the chiacchiere al crudo, fried calamari, and tuna. Everything was delicious. I'd go back if it weren't for the cold. The dining room was really cold, and we mentioned it, but they told us they'd already turned everything on. Also, the bathroom was even colder. I thought the window was open, but it wasn't, and there was only the shutter down. I hope it was just a temporary issue, because otherwise I'd recommend it for the excellent food and service, but only from spring onwards.
26/01/2026: Beautiful interior and veranda location. Excellent pizzas. Our table also ordered fish on Saturday. Everything was truly delicious, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and always smiling—and not everyone smiles all year round.

Bagna cauda that doesn't need permission. He stands up, slams his fists on his taste buds, and says, "Today we're eating well, and I'm in charge here."
I ordered paniscia without even knowing what it was: it's not a normal risotto, it's a delicious energy concentrate made with lard isotopes.
They say Piedmontese cuisine hugs you: today it hugged me tightly and stayed with me for a long time to make sure I'd understood the lesson. I should point out that no passengers were gassed in the car on the return trip.
Not just the food, but the lovely people: I felt at home.
Honorable mention for the copper pans that were used for ostrich eggs.
09/02/2026: A restaurant serving traditional Ossola and lakeside cuisine. The first courses are delicious, and the venison stew is even better. The polenta could be improved; it's a bit too salty. Highly recommended, and I definitely think I'll be back.
