23/05/2026: I've been in Ivrea for a month, and countless locals have told me this restaurant is one of the best in the area. After dining there, I can absolutely see why. It's a true experience of authentic Piedmontese cuisine: excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and kind, welcoming staff who immediately make you feel at ease. The place was packed with locals, which I think is always one of the best signs when you're looking for a truly good restaurant, not just one geared toward tourists. What I particularly appreciated was that the restaurant didn't try to be too formal or pretentious. Instead, it focused on the important things: quality ingredients, generous portions, good service, and an atmosphere where people can truly relax and enjoy the evening. The atmosphere is casual yet refined, lively without being chaotic, with that authentic Italian energy that's hard to find elsewhere. I started with a fish appetizer from a seafood buffet that, from what I understand, changes daily based on the availability of the catch. Everything was very good and flavorful, and it was a great way to start the dinner. I then continued with an excellent pizza: simple, tasty, well-made, and truly satisfying. Overall, it was one of my favorite dining experiences since arriving in Ivrea. Good food, authentic character, pleasant staff, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than expected. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience in the area.

31/05/2026: We had a lovely evening on the terrace of Il Filo Di Marianna; we were a group of six. The service was excellent and very pleasant, with highly professional and friendly staff. We ate incredibly well: the mussels, the octopus and potato salad, the fritto misto, and all the pasta dishes... a real treat! This was our second visit, and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and simple cuisine that prioritizes quality ingredients.

14/08/2026: We had dinner at Brogantino. The staff was incredibly nice and service-minded. We ordered Risotto with lobster and Suprema di quaglia (quail). This was incredibly good. For dessert we had a very good Cerasella (cherry dessert with mascarpone and custard). The chef Giuseppe was very nice and came over to us to ask how the food was. He also made good recommendations. Thanks for the visit. Highly recommended!:)

14/08/2026: Definitely a very high score for the service and the excellent, refined, and high-quality food. My two negatives are the owner's decision not to allow guests to choose even a tasting menu (so either everyone chooses the menus or no one can). Given the high prices, I find this a flawed and illogical choice. Another negative is the excessive haste of the waitresses in clearing plates from the table while you're still eating, and the constant asking how you're doing, which is very exaggerated and annoying. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

05/04/2026: I happened upon it by chance on a Saturday evening, coming down from the Maira Valley. The staff was courteous, helpful, and very attentive. They also offered an aperitif while you waited for your order. We had both pizza and the à la carte menu. Everything was delicious. The desserts were numerous, excellent, and almost all homemade, and were served with attention to detail and aesthetics. Prices were reasonable, offering good value for money.

13/04/2026: The seafood restaurant you'd never expect, and one of the best anywhere. For a business lunch in Novara, I expected a meat-based menu, and indeed, there were asparagus expertly paired with gratinated scallops. Then came a turbot of exquisite delicacy. In addition to the menu, I recommend choosing the menu proposed by the owner. Hats off!

13/06/2026: The place is very welcoming, as are the staff, who even without a reservation, immediately escorted me to my table. As for the food, the products were high-quality. We chose various dishes, both meat and fish, and all were excellent, with unusual pairings. Everything was accompanied by a good wine, selected by them, and the result was a top-notch dinner. I recommend this place to everyone, much better than other restaurants I've tried on the lakeside.

10/08/2026: Nice place in the center of the city. We had pizza, and I have to say it was much better than other nearby pizzerias. The staff was kind and helpful.

13/07/2026: Located on a village square, this restaurant boasts a very high-quality interior with exposed brick walls and arched doorways, and a specially chilled wine cellar where you can select your own wine. The service is excellent, and they offer fresh fish prepared in a variety of ways – absolutely delicious!

11/07/2026: We arrived full of excitement, especially given the reviews, but after waiting 25 minutes to order, we waited another 25 minutes without seeing a dish arrive at our table, so we decided to leave! I should add that in the meantime, two tables who arrived after us were served! Ps. Not even the slightest bit of sincere apology or explanation from the staff, just a "sorry" when they heard we were leaving! Awful experience!
