10/05/2025: Il Giglio è un ristorante nel pieno centro di Torino, si mangia molto bene, i prezzi sono giusti, le porzioni generose, la qualità delle materie prime alta, il personale gentile. Lo frequentavo negli anni 90 poi per anni non ho avuto occasione di tornarci e negli ultimi anni ci sono tornato e la qualità è sempre allo stesso livello, eppure la sensazione è che non sia abbastanza conosciuto e amato, peccato perché ne vale veramente la pena.

05/05/2025: Abbiamo prenotato questo ristorante sulla base di quanto letto e sentito e il fatto che il pesce fosse protagonista è stato uno stimolo in più. Poi casualmente abbiamo conosciuto lo chef ad un altro evento e la prospettiva della visita si è fatta ancora più interessante. Il locale è sobrio ed elegante, con tavoli ampi e ben distanziati, ed il personale, dall’accoglienza al servizio, si è rivelato molto preparato ed attento. Ma quello che ci ha colpito sin dall’inizio sono stati gli amuse bouche (pensare che si comincia con un’acqua pazza da urlo!), i grissini, il pane, l’olio di Pinerolo (uno dei più buoni mai assaggiati!), tutto eccezionale, poi è iniziato il nostro percorso “MENU’ DELLA MAISON”…. Piatti incredibili per gusto, equilibrio, potenza, tecnica e naturalmente per le materie prime eccellenti. Piatti per cui vale il viaggio, sono stati sicuramente “Gnocchi ripieni, canocchie e garum” e “Rossini di rombo”, quest’ultimo uno dei secondi di pesce migliori di sempre; ma ogni preparazione ci ha lasciato stupiti e con la voglia di riassaggiarla, per non parlare delle “scarpette”, si perché le salse sono ciò che fa fare un salto all’insù a questa eccellente cucina. A nostro parere, riuscire ad esaltare a questo livello piatti di pesce, materia prima così delicata e facilmente “alterabile”, non è molto comune e questo chef ha dimostrato di avere veramente un grande talento. Una delle cene più belle degli ultimi mesi che fa diventare questo ristorante uno dei preferiti. Bravi!

23/05/2025: Not worth neither the Michelin star, nor the 4.3 rating in google maps. Very basic food, a shame to eat it in Italy. Tuna steak (excellent) was served with uncooked store bought spinach. Very good service.

23/05/2025: Ci siamo recati per pranzo in questo ristorante per festeggiare un evento con dei bambini. L’aspetto esterno non è dei migliori, molto trascurato e buio. Entrando si nota subito lo stile Fanè , anche se alcune parti sono state rimodernate in tema marittimo. Essendo il menù concordato ci saremmo aspettati di avere un servizio abbastanza veloce e invece è stata un’agonia e soprattutto disorganizzato. Partiamo dal fatto che i primi ad essere serviti dovrebbero essere i bambini e considerato che ci siamo seduti a tavola verso le 12,30 e alle 14,15 i bimbi non avevano ancora ricevuto la pietanza ordinata forse qualcosa deve essere rivisto. A tavola non era presente l’acqua che ci è stata portata dopo circa mezz’ora, anche il vino fa parte dei desaparecidos il quale ci è stato portato alla fine degli antipasti. Il primo di riso veramente immangiabile slegato e insapore la mia orata decente come il fritto misto. Il servizio approssimativo è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. A proposito di torta è stata l’unica cosa veramente buona che abbiamo mangiato. Onestamente non mi sento di consigliarlo.

I was a guest of one of my aunts and I found this place by pure chance on the internet, but it was a fantastic discovery due to the friendliness, hospitality, education and professionalism of Mr. Giorgio, who explained the dishes with great care and gave us the best advice. Well-prepared dishes with a lot of attention to detail from presentation to taste and I take this opportunity to compliment the chef and his staff. I will certainly return with friends and recommend it to everyone.

14/04/2025: Guest of friends from Turin, from our arrival the service was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that accompanied the entire evening. The menu based on mussels (very fresh!) did not disappoint: each dish was studied in detail and presented with attention. The environment was intimate but lively, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. Overall, a very positive experience that I hope to repeat soon. A note of appreciation for Mr. Giorgio who made sure that our evening always went smoothly: thank you!!

01/06/2025: The portions are increasingly smaller (e.g. pasta is no more than 30 grams per serving), even bread consists of about four tiny slices, but the prices, not those! Always on the rise! You still finish eating hungry! I'm sorry because only a few years ago it wasn't like this!
