14/03/2026: Superb experience! The quality of the pizza and ingredients was excellent, and the dough was truly delicious. The service was attentive and courteous, and the desserts also deserve a special mention (torta delle rose and Basque cheesecake). The prices were fair! Congratulations!

To be honest, when I picked up the dish, I mentioned the piece of plastic I'd found in the pizza. I didn't feel it was necessary to mention it again at checkout.

07/03/2026: My meal was a joke. I ordered a steak for €28. They didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. It was medium in some places, almost well-done in others... How is that even possible? It wasn't seasoned except for a little salt, of course. The thing wasn't even 200g, hardly filling. Side dishes with a €28 steak? None! I ordered rosemary potatoes for €6. They were just quartered potatoes, drizzled with a little rosemary oil, and thrown in a deep fryer or something – basically bad fried potatoes. They tasted like nothing. €34 total for a meal that was far from satisfying. But hey, whatever...

19/01/2026: A truly awful experience at Il Bruco restaurant, especially due to the embarrassingly small portions. We were treated as if every gram of food were gold. A sandwich each, tiny, without any care or abundance, completely insufficient and disproportionate to the price. The Spritz was served in a glass only half-filled, including ice. We essentially paid for a glass of ice with a little liquid around it: a truly disheartening and disrespectful scene. The mixed grill was the icing on the cake: extremely expensive and shockingly small, with ridiculous portions that didn't even begin to justify the cost. This isn't gourmet cuisine, but pure frugality bordering on the ridiculous. As if that weren't enough, there were three of us, and none of our dishes arrived at the same time, forcing us to eat separately, with no attention paid to the service. In short: a place that's stingy to the point of excess, high prices, microscopic portions, and disorganized service. An experience to avoid. For three: four Aperols, one water, an octopus appetizer, one spaghetti with clams, and a mixed grill for one: €56 each.

14/01/2026: The veranda overlooking Iseo's lakefront is truly charming! I tried the Mari e Monti pizza and was thrilled. It's a truly gourmet pizza: the combination of seafood and land is perfectly balanced, and the high-quality ingredients are clearly evident. The dough is light and easy to digest, a sign of impeccable leavening. A taste experience I highly recommend to anyone looking for something above average.

The dishes we ordered were good and tasty. • Ham and melon were good and plentiful. • Mussels were good. • Sea bass was good. • Beef tagliata was supposed to be medium, but it arrived pierced. However, it was still tender, so if it had been medium, it would have been excellent. • Simple and good tiramisu. • Efficient staff, perhaps a little too efficient. 12/03/2026: We had a great time at this restaurant where they served us typical dishes from the Sirmione region. A wonderful discovery!

08/03/2026: Visiting Sirmione we stopped for lunch. I gave it a 4⭐ because it's a nice place, it also has a veranda and outdoor tables overlooking the lake. The food is good, fresh ingredients, just the right portions, excellent combinations and plating. The staff is helpful and attentive to customer needs without being oppressive. The restrooms are clean despite the influx of customers and spacious, including disabled facilities. The restaurant has its own parking lot. The only sore point for this is the price. The reason: while taking a photo of the dish, I accidentally knocked over the water glass, which unfortunately fell into the dish. Nothing serious, it was just water. I called the waiter kindly asking to just change the dish. He replied, "I'll have him redo it." I replied that redoing it from scratch wasn't necessary, it was, I repeat, just water. It was enough to change the dish, having repeated it twice. In the end, they counted the dish twice in the bill, and honestly, I'm not happy with that. If I had asked to do it, it's one thing, but having them decide, NO!!!!

22/02/2026: I went to this restaurant with a group of friends to try the pizza. They seated us on the heated outdoor patio, which was still empty when we arrived, but after ordering, we had to wait a good hour and a half before being served (which would probably have been even longer if we hadn't asked for an explanation). They apologized and tried to offer a bottle of prosecco, but since we were all teetotalers, we declined. After we complained, the order arrived in about ten minutes, but some of the pizzas still had raw dough, the mozzarella hadn't melted, the tomato sauce was sour, and the pizza dough was bland. A gluten-intolerant woman with us also ordered gluten-free pasta, but unfortunately, the pasta was just plain old, and our friend felt ill. A terrible experience. I understand that the weekend is a mess, but I find several shortcomings unacceptable. I really don't think I'll be back.

06/03/2026: The paccheri and grilled fish were delicious, priced around €25 per person. We saved €15 by booking through The Fork. We didn't have to wait for a table, and we booked five minutes before arriving. Recommended!

28/12/2025: I've been here many times, and I must say the quality and deliciousness of the food has been consistently good. Both the fish and meat dishes are excellent, and the desserts are equally delicious. When I'm in Salò, it's a must-see.

01/11/2025: Having reached Salò by bicycle, we stopped at this lovely restaurant. The view of the lake is excellent and relaxing. We only tried the first courses, such as the spaghetti with clams, which were excellent. As for the rest, I saw well-presented fish dishes at the adjacent tables, and I presume they were also good. The prices are a little high, but average for the area.
