21/08/2024: Unfortunately it was a negative experience, very slow service (almost 1 hour to get the dishes) and confusing (dishes ordered and never arrived). Plus €5 cover charge per person, unjustified.

19/08/2024: The reviews for this restaurant are very very misleading. The food is ready within minutes of ordering (sounds great, until you realise you are in a fast food Italian joint, but still paying standard price). I ordered the lasagne, heat of the dish (and speed), alongside presentation proved it had been cooked in advance and heated in microwave oven, inside was cold. There was literally no ragu in the lasagne, it just tasted of cheese and pasta… lasagne is a dish I would have thought any decent Italian could nail. Never write reviews but this place was disgusting food.

26/08/2024: Tipica serata domenicale di agosto in cui giustamente il locale è gremito. Io e la compagna paziente mente ci mettiamo in lista per avere un tavolino vista lago e dopo nemmeno troppo attesa la gentilissima signora con gli occhiali si chiama e ci fa accomodare. Pietanze indiscutibili anche se se le fanno pagare bene, così come il coperto di €3 che è vergognosamente speculativo. Avrei recensito con un bel voto , ma tutto il bel quadretto cade a causa della frenesia scortese con cui il servizio pressa a cottimo ad andarsene fuori dalle p... Avevamo preso un contorno da condividere in apertura e nemmeno arrivati a metà consumo si arriva già la pietanza successiva. Iniziamo a mangiare questa seconda e con piatto di portata evidentemente ancora presentante cibo residuo un cameriere di una certa età si chiede con tono ispettivo a che punto eravamo. Sorridendo per non mandarlo al paese successivo gli faccio presente che non abbiamo ancora finito. Dopo cinque minuti lo stesso cameriere torna e chiede "adesso a che punto siamo?" Per fortuna che i primi non sono arrivati sovrapposti al piatto precedente e almeno quelli abbiamo potuto gustarli senza " la fretta di timbrare". Capisco la località notevole e la vista lago ma non siamo a Portofino o nel più antico caffè di Torino. Anche perché con la stessa cifra spesa avrei mangiato di più e in tutta calma in posti come la gustosa di Coccaglio o Positano di Rovato Giusto per non fare nomi. Va bene, Pago il lago ma me lo devi anche far contemplare con calma perché sei tu cameriere che stai lavorando mentre io ho già lavorato in settimana e non mi devi rompere le scatole. Ribadisco tutto buono ma nel bresciano si trova altrettanta bontà anche a tasche più leggere e contesto più rilassato. Nulla di personale ma quel che è giusto va detto. Non penso proprio né tornare né consigliarlo. La bella Iseo la prossima volta melagusto in qualche ristorantino delle vie interne.

31/07/2024: We knew the first management, I returned after years, the place remained in the family. Excellent pizzas, fast, attentive service. Between one customer and another there were also a couple of cheerful chats with the staff. We stayed outside, pleasantly. I think I'll start going to him more often again.

18/08/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo incantevole ristorante dopo un tour a Salò, siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità dei piatti. Il risotto ai crostacei era eccezionale, antipasto di pesce fresco e saporito. Qualità prezzo ottimo. Personale e proprietario cordiale e gentile. Consigliatissimo!

13/08/2024: Restaurant probably appreciated by foreign tourists. For us Italians it is no. There are no seconds. They only have mixed seafood or land starters. We were told very filling. That's not true, a (rectangular) dish that is not at all abundant, you can see it in the various photos. It only has first courses, none suitable for lactose intolerant people. They would have possibly made a risotto without butter or, listen carefully: a pasta with tomato sauce! End. Side dishes: salad and baked potatoes. Baked potatoes which exactly should I eat with what? The place looks upscale but it's not. They only have high prices suitable for tourists. Ah, yes, the appetizer is good, and God forbid. We left feeling hungry but not having the chance to get anything else. What could we have taken? Fish? No, only possibly grilled frozen prawns. No thank you. We would have also drank wine if they had put us in the air-conditioned room but... They put us at the entrance because we were the first, they obviously didn't want to dirty the room just for us. It's a shame that then, when other people arrived, they opened it: a sometimes air-conditioned room. And we're stuck behind the front door. I don't think there will be a second time.

16/08/2024: Villa Aurora restaurant, booked for 4 people on the evening of August 15th, very nice setting, beautiful view of the lake during the day and of the lake with the city lights at night. Having taken the tasting menu, it's good that for those with intolerances/allergies (e.g. lactose or mushrooms...) they offer other alternatives. Very good service, excellent quality/price. I really recommend it if you are in the area.

25/07/2024: Very fast service, food was enjoyable, the wine was excellent, as was the tiramisu. After a long day on the golf course and at the in-house pool, a very nice evening.

09/08/2024: The perfect place to have lunch and have a bit of everything, the service is always friendly and helpful and if there aren't too many customers they also know how to entertain you, the only flaw is the lack of variation in the menu if you go to them often

17/08/2024: I went for lunch for my uncle's 102nd birthday. We were treated very well, even if we had slightly special requests as we were with two elderly people, they were able to manage everything perfectly. Having the holiday home just a few minutes away, I've been coming there for years now, I don't think I'll ever have anything negative to comment on! Super generous portions and very fair prices.

28/01/2024: Very friendly staff and nice place. I went tonight by chance, and it was a pleasant discovery. Everything excellent and generous portions. Inside there is also a games room. My son had fun!
