05/10/2025: A four-star hotel that could also be a five-star, everything perfect. The room was wonderful, quiet, and had a view of the lake—a wonderful view, that's very important. The breakfast was lacking in everything, from savory to sweet, super rich. It's just a shame about the season... we'll definitely be back.

04/10/2025: Fabulous place in Desenzano, fantastic rooms with panoramic terraces from which you can appreciate the fantastic Lake Garda, just a few steps from the center... Accuracy... cleanliness, welcoming staff... free parking on site, possibility of a summer restaurant and swimming pool where you can magically spend your holidays or weekends ❤️

07/10/2025: A very welcoming restaurant, with extremely friendly staff and truly delicious food. Located on a small street in the historic center of Sirmione, the atmosphere is clean and refined, yet simple. Excellent wines and delicious dishes, including meat, lake fish, and a few seafood options. The appetizers and desserts are excellent.

18/10/2025: Friday evening at 9:10 pm we opened the door and found three waiters chatting, and a couple of couples eating. They looked at us and said that perhaps it was already closed. They turned to the owner who was chatting at the cash register with another man and in turn looked at us and said: no guys, we're closed... a great experience to understand how restaurants in Italy fail if they close at 9 pm on a Friday in the historic center of Sirmione... Moreover, we were also very hungry and at the very least we would have spent at least 40 euros each for the first and second courses and wine... maybe with 80 euros you could have paid two waiters... I've said it all!!!

21/10/2025: A lovely restaurant overlooking Lake Iseo. The courtesy was truly paramount; everyone was friendly and helpful (even though they were almost closing). The food was good, although the spaghetti was overcooked. One small, entirely subjective, complaint was the price. I found it a bit pricey. All in all, an excellent place.

11/10/2025: Yes, excellent quality food! But the bill was exorbitant, the cover charge was staggering for two simple courses, and the portions were meager, neither meat nor fish. I wouldn't recommend it.

09/10/2025: A friendly atmosphere characterized by welcoming, kind, and attentive service. Generous dishes with unforgettable flavors. My "pasta with potatoes and provola" was a true return to the past; to those authentic, home-cooked flavors that only grandmothers could give you. Not to mention the amatriciana or tiramisu... An experience of traditional flavors that the chef masterfully and professionally enhanced. I will definitely return to this Neapolitan experience in Montichiari.

09/10/2025: I happened to pass by it on my way back from a hike to Peschiera. What can I say, lucky me! The pizza was superb (tomato, Gorgo, sausage, and parmesan), Roman-style, so thin. The glass of white wine was also good. Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: Fantastic experience. We were guests at the Hotel Riel and were treated with infinite kindness and helpfulness. All the dishes were tasty, plentiful, and presented with understated elegance. Excellent value. This restaurant is definitely worth a try, 10 out of 10.

14/10/2025: Mediocre Overall Impression Let's start with the positives. The restrooms were clean, the portion sizes were perfectly fine, and my friend was very happy with his pizza. Nevertheless, I wouldn't go back to this restaurant. The food was served at different times, so we had to eat separately. It wasn't very busy when we were there. My friend was almost finished with his pizza when my primi piatti finally arrived. Furthermore, his knife was so blunt that he couldn't even begin to cut his pizza. On top of that, my meat for the secondi piatti was only lukewarm when it was served and completely cold by the end. And to top it all off, the service was very poor. The waiter noticed that the table was shaking enormously as he led us to the table, but sat us down anyway and did nothing. The waitress who came later started taking our order, even though I was clearly not finished choosing. She later placed the bread without any eye contact or a "please" or "prego." ``` Individual errors and problems can never be ruled out. Overall, however, it wasn't enough for me to have a positive overall impression.

09/10/2025: I booked a table for two this evening. The gentleman on the phone wasn't very polite; he actually seemed annoyed, but when we actually arrived at the restaurant, things were completely different. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had spaghetti with clams, and I have to say, it was the best I've ever had. My girlfriend had tagliolini with vegetables, and I have to say, they were delicious too. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake with a soft center, and it was truly sublime. I think I'll dream about it tonight. Highly recommended. The restaurant's atmosphere was also spectacular, a perfect blend of sophisticated elegance and a homey feel. Absolutely 5 out of 5 stars, and I'd give more if I could.

30/09/2025: Carmelo is always a guarantee. I've been back many years and found the atmosphere and quality of the pizza unchanged. A real pleasure. I recommend the Carmelo with fresh tomatoes.

14/10/2025: After a walk in Sirmione, we stopped here with our dog, finding a truly charming spot on the lakeside. The view is breathtaking, and the walkway and lanterns create a romantic and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the sunset. The dishes are worthy of the setting: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and balanced flavors. The service is friendly, fast, and attentive, without ever being intrusive. We also really appreciate the fact that they readily accept dogs, a rare thing in such well-kept places. An experience that captures all the magic of Sirmione—one to experience at least once.

13/08/2025: Excellent lunch, homemade pasta and very tasty sauce. The house red wine is very interesting... the staff is courteous, especially Sofi, who was kind and professional. All the staff were very good.

08/08/2025: Delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere. A lovely little spot you really have to discover. It's almost impossible to find from the street. Ask the staff, and they'll lead you to an intimate, romantic spot.

07/10/2025: Hotel directly on the lake, separated only by a promenade. The beach is not part of the hotel. It's a pebble beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are subject to a fee. Restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast buffet, with all the essentials, including a variety of fruit. Clean rooms, with daily towel changes. Friendly, unobtrusive service. There's "actually" enough parking. The sound of the waves is audible. €102 per night per room for early September is very good value. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you very much.

11/10/2025: I often go there and have a good experience. On Sunday evening, however, as soon as I finished eating the pizza, which I had eaten in a short time, they started clearing the table next door and wanted my table to add to the other two to make a table for six... and the waitress told me she had to leave the table free, since we had finished our drinks a minute or so ago... I think we could have a nice chat, and I pointed this out to her... I found it rather unfair, given that when they gave me the table, they didn't tell me it was reserved for eight. I'd been there for about 50 minutes, not two hours. I don't think I'll go again.

09/10/2025: Great lunch prices, but super crowded... like a canteen... one dish was sold out, the main course... let's just say basic. If you're passing through, given the prices in the area, I recommend it.
