06/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch, seafood appetizer, whitefish fillet, and mixed fried fish. Everything was good, the only flaw was the mixed fruit wasn't very "mixed." Expectations were different, but every kitchen makes its own choices.
I'll definitely be back.

17/04/2026: We went there for the first time for dinner. The mixed sauté and spaghetti with sea urchins were delicious, and the fried food was also good. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu because the ingredients are excellent and they cook them very well. The service was perfect, friendly but professional, and the prices were in line with the quality. I highly recommend it.

16/03/2026: At Classico in Brescia, you dine within a well-constructed setting, crafted with intelligence and a certain flair for effect. In our case, a table for twelve in a room all to ourselves: a rare privilege, almost like a small private courtyard. It was also a passageway to other rooms, true, but one of those passageways that didn't disturb at all, quite the opposite. Let's just say the comings and goings contributed to the atmosphere with a significant visual appeal.
Then comes the food, and there the place really raises the bar. That sort of caviar toast—let's call it that, even if the term does it less justice than it deserves—was remarkable: opulent, precise, just the right amount of brash. A bite designed to be memorable and, more importantly, capable of doing so. The steak was also excellent, enormous but not gross, cooked to perfection, with that confident handling that distinguishes a significant dish from a simple exercise of muscle.
And yet, just when the scene seemed headed for an almost unanimous triumph, the downfall came. Not about wine, not about food, but about spirits. A friend of mine, who was in the car with me, drank six Negronis. Six. Now, a well-made Negroni isn't an evening herbal tea for delicate souls: it has its own structure, its own weight, its own alcoholic dignity. The fact that after six glasses he was more sober than I, who had drunk half a glass of champagne and more mineral water than in a spa treatment, raises a philosophical question even before it's an oenological one. I'm not questioning the elegance of his hand. I'm questioning his shyness.
The bill, €1,800 for twelve, so €150 each, isn't robbery: it's a choice, and choices have their price. However, that faint feeling remains that the evening was very nice, the food excellent, the atmosphere successful, but the final price is estimated with a hint of enthusiasm more than what, upon leaving the place, one is willing to grant.
In short, Classico is a beautiful, well-constructed place, with high-quality cuisine and a clear talent for creating atmosphere. However, places that aim high cannot afford to slip up in detail, because it's the details that decide whether the memory of a dinner remains bright or becomes slightly corrosive. I had a good time there, I ate very well, but not enough to avoid the final doubt: remarkable, yes; impeccable, no.

22/04/2026: The food is amazing!! The fish is perfect. Pasta with mussels is just as good. Very friendly service. Highly recommended and a very charming atmosphere. You can tell the restaurant is run with love and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality.
22/04/2026: Excellent lake fish cooked on the grill. I've never eaten fish this good; the grilled flavor and texture are extraordinary.
Family-run, with great kindness and hospitality.
The menu is more or less always the same, and that's its strength.
Open from March to October, they also offer outdoor seating on the street in the summer.
It's my favorite place in the area.

11/04/2026: The location on the lake is truly beautiful, but unfortunately the experience was completely ruined by the service and the final bill. As soon as we were seated, we had to ask for menus ourselves, as well as water and even bread. After ordering, the wine was opened for us at the table... but without bringing us glasses, which was quite surreal. The staff seemed inattentive and poorly organized throughout the entire meal. The most disappointing thing is that, despite all these obvious shortcomings, there was no attempt to make amends: not an apology, not a complimentary liqueur, not even a discount (considering the very high bill). The only redeeming feature were the appetizers.

We reordered the seafood pizza.
Nothing...a DISAPPOINTMENT.
A sprinkling of thawed fish.
Probably a previous leftover.
Two dried mussels soaked in water.
They tasted like NOTHING.
I'm going directly to the manager of La Bussola: when you don't have fresh ingredients, avoid serving seafood pizza.
We would have ordered another pizza.
Eleven euros per person for a pizza.
For a handful of freezer-aged fish and two dried mussels, THAT'S TOO MUCH.
I don't think we'll be back.

01/02/2026: I'll start by saying that I'm rating my experience based on my reservation on The Fork with a 50% discount on food.
The staff is very friendly and attentive.
The place is well-heated and the tables are spaced apart.
The food is good, the presentation could be improved, but what matters is the quality and deliciousness, and there was no shortage of both.
We ordered two first courses and a fried seafood platter, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water (€3), and a coffee (€3), for a total of €50.
The prices would be high in my opinion without the discount, but with the discount, I'd say everything is perfect: quality, size, and deliciousness.
There are about eight private parking spaces in front of the restaurant.
25/01/2026: Not a great experience. The place is very small, with tables quite close together, and it was cold; we mentioned this, and I noticed that this was a concern noted in other reviews, including the bathrooms. Furthermore, the rechargeable table lamp was out of power.
Service was slow: a single waiter managed the entire room, with occasional support from another person who was mostly busy in the kitchen. We waited a long time both to order and to receive the bread, as well as between courses.
The cover charge was €3 per person with paper napkins. House water was served in bottles refilled by the restaurant at €3 per bottle, which I found a bit high. Additional bread was available for €1. We didn't order wine, but the glasses were left on the table anyway. The staff was friendly, however.
There was one small, unpleasant incident: there was a hair in my companion's appetizer. The dish was replaced with appropriate apologies, but by then my appetizer had already arrived, and to avoid eating separately, we had to split the courses.
The food was average. I wasn't satisfied with the sbrisolona for dessert, either because of the dessert itself or the zabaglione cream that accompanied it.
Overall, without the TheFork discount, I wouldn't recommend it.
