27/02/2025: Locale di quartiere, abbastanza pieno durante la settimana: gruppi di amici, coppie improbabili. Servizio approssimativo. Menu abbastanza esteso, sia carne che pesce. Ho provato la pizza, sottile e dura, poco condita. Non credo darò una seconda possibilità

06/02/2025: In vena di festeggiare usciamo a pranzo per la prima volta in questo locale. La zona pranzo è ricavata all’interno di un dehor vetrato molto luminoso e ben arredato in stile moderno. Oggi saltiamo gli antipasti e prendiamo direttamente 2 primi e 2 secondi di pesce accompagnati da una buona bottiglia di vino. Tutto buono, con ingredienti di qualità e ben cucinati. Per concludere anche un paio di dolci che oggi ci stavano. Nota di merito al servizio, giovane, efficiente e cordiale. Prezzi giusti per la qualità offerta. Consigliato per godersi un pranzo (o cena) in tranquillità. Comodo per la quantità di parcheggio (se non ci sono partite di calcio).

18/05/2025: We were there in mid-May 2025. We practically had the hotel to ourselves for the first two days. The staff was super friendly. The hotel is old, but always clean. If we had roommates, I would have preferred a partition on the balcony for a bit more privacy. A lounger or more comfortable chairs on the balcony would have been nice. I thought the breakfast was good; it's always the same, but still sufficient. The coffee was good too.

22/04/2025: Good evening, I honestly didn't want to write a negative review but this time I'm forced to do so. I ordered a pirillo pizza which has shrimp, sautéed courgettes and peppers as ingredients. The wait was long and the pizza that arrived was the wrong pizza with shrimp. The second time they brought it to me they put on cooked courgettes that were not at all digestible, which probably had nothing to do with making up for their mistake. I understand making a mistake once but not the second time and pretending nothing happened I really didn't like this at all

15/06/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience struck me so much that I felt the need to share it. We went to this restaurant tonight, me and some relatives, and what can I say... a fantastic experience from every point of view. Carola and Bardi are two wonderful, welcoming and generous people: it is really rare to find such a warm and authentic welcome. The service was impeccable, we immediately felt at home. The food? Exceptional. We had the seafood spaghetti: simply delicious. The fish was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back very soon.

27/05/2025: Environment with various large and bright rooms ..., clean ... Given the day we opted to have lunch outside tables ..... unlike the internal rooms the tables have a paper placemat (but it does not bother) fast service with kind and helpful staff. All ok ... cover a little high.

26/05/2025: Sono tornata da Lipen a Triuggio con un gruppo di amici, fidandomi del buon ricordo che avevo di questa pizzeria, considerata una delle migliori della zona e presente sulla guida del Gambero Rosso. Purtroppo, l’esperienza si è rivelata una vera delusione, tanto da farci pensare che ci sia stato un cambio di gestione o di filosofia… sicuramente non in meglio. Avevamo chiesto il giorno prima di aggiungere un coperto alla prenotazione, ci era stato assicurato che non ci sarebbero stati problemi. All’arrivo, invece, ci hanno fatto accomodare a un tavolo apparecchiato per quattro invece che per cinque. Dopo qualche minuto in cui siamo rimasti in bilico, ci hanno spostati in un’altra zona, compressi nella parte più affollata e rumorosa del locale. Atmosfera tutt’altro che piacevole. Al momento dell’ordinazione abbiamo chiesto semplicemente delle birre medie chiare — senza specificare particolari etichette — aspettandoci una classica media alla spina. Ci sono arrivati, invece, dei bicchieri da 33cl, nonostante sul menu fossero presenti birre chiare davvero medie alla spina. La sensazione è stata quella di un tentativo poco trasparente di “fregarci”. Inoltre ci è stato più volte proposto l’antipasto integrale, anche dopo aver rifiutato: un’insistenza che è risultata invadente e poco professionale. La pizza, infine, è stata una delusione: impasto gommoso e nessuna traccia della qualità e dell’eccellenza che ricordavamo. E per finire, coperto a 3,50€ a testa, davvero eccessivo considerando ambiente, servizio e livello complessivo. Un’esperienza che ci ha lasciato l’amaro in bocca. Peccato, perché Lipen era un riferimento. Non ci torneremo.

12/11/2024: I already know this place from its old place. Now there are fewer tables but the cuisine remains excellent and the staff friendly. I go there regularly and always order a fish first course and a pizza to share. The pizza is really good without taking anything away from the fish which is really fresh. I recommend this restaurant

28/09/2024: We had been to this restaurant previously, when it was still the Barbisa trattoria. Now it's still them but with a different name, even if the name of the restaurant is unchanged on the internet and the old menu is still available. The first time we had a pretty good time, even if some dishes were absolutely not up to the price offered. When we returned the second time we discovered that the menu had been changed and that they no longer made pizza. In conclusion we ate an overcooked risotto with lots of cheese (it was requested not to cream the risotto with butter/cheese). The pappardelle with wild boar ragout was really heavy, it felt like I was eating mostly fat and oil. These last two dishes arrived 1 hour after ordering. Finally, the mixed fried food ordered was soft and salty. Personally we were very disappointed, also because the prices have increased a lot since the last time, without improving the cuisine and the experience it leaves for the customer.

15/03/2025: Abbiamo preso il menù del giorno, i primi che abbiamo ordinato erano davvero indimenticabili, molto buoni complimenti . Invece sui secondi ci sarebbe qualcosa di riguardare, il gusto che non era quello che ci si aspettava dopo i primi ci aspettavamo dei finocchi gratinati con gran entusiasmo ma ci siamo trovati dei finocchi che erano tutto tranne gratinati. Comunque spero che la direzione prendi dei provvedimenti perché come posto è davvero molto bello! Lo consiglio ma incrociando le dita per la cucina.
