04/12/2025: A beautiful location and atmosphere, I was very pleased and relieved when they said they could make the pesto pasta vegan so I could eat it (no milk, eggs). Unfortunately we had requested penne pesto pasta and after twice bringing us the wrong pasta we decided to leave it. They said they wouldn't charge us as we had really tried to explain we wanted penne, but they still charged us which meant we ended up paying for two extra dishes. They also didn't say the bread cost extra too. To be honest I think they just thought we were foreigners they could hustle, so could be worth you showing a photo of what you want as 'penne' isn't clear enough and you'll end up with 'trofie' or the small penne instead of the larger size that I thought was standard for penne. 😂👎🏻

06/11/2025: A fabulous experience. Superb fried food delivered directly to the dock and enjoyed on the boat between Portovenere and La Palmaria. Compliments go to Massimo. We'll definitely be back.

02/01/2026: I stayed 3 nights with a large group for New Year's Eve. It was an excellent experience: the food, the service, the staff, and the accommodation. The staff were all very kind, friendly, and helpful. The food was always very good. I really enjoyed the pizza and pinsa, although they were perhaps a bit burnt. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location is convenient: a 10-minute walk from the station. There's parking nearby, and there's a bus stop for exploring the city and surrounding areas.

24/01/2026: Excellent dinner. We ordered the mixed appetizers for two, and we ended up with 12 truly delicious appetizer courses. The tuna steak was excellent, with the freshest fish! The squid ink tagliatelle wasn't the best, but everything else was excellent! Excellent service and a very varied and quality wine list! Highly recommended.

21/10/2025: Beautifully situated on the water, it's incredibly cozy when it gets dark and the lights in the bay come on. The food was good, but nothing more to say. Service is prompt but not entirely up to par with the rules of gastronomy.

04/11/2025: A seafood restaurant with excellent value! The black troffie are excellent...must try! The staff is friendly and attentive! I'll be back soon to try other dishes.

09/09/2025: Terrible treatment. Endless wait, which with a small child becomes a nightmare. The waitress tries to justify the hours-long wait. Tables after ours are served first. And last but not least, our car is blocked by another car in the restaurant parking lot without any prompt resolution.

16/01/2026: The menu is varied! Delicious food!!! Long dessert list. Delicious desserts! Thanks for your business lunch! Very fast and very kind! The children's play area outside is a great bonus with a super trampoline and very comfortable swings!

12/01/2026: A wonderful lunch stop last October. It was actually after 3pm, but they welcomed us anyway. The restaurant was still full. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was simple but fresh and tasty. Thank you, I hope to return soon!

03/01/2026: The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, and the wait to order is very long, over 30 minutes. They were probably short on staff. I've had both pizza and a set menu with first and second courses at this restaurant. The pizza is good, but the rest is a little less so. The meat is a bit disappointing, as it appears to be cooked less than requested. The cured meats are also not of good quality; they're adequate, but nothing more. What surprised me most are the prices. They're really high.

11/12/2025: Chaotic place, insufficient staff, long waits, "spaghetti veraci" for €18 a plate, not exactly al dente, bland, and with 18 clams, small, counted, the rest empty shells; sea bream and side dish okay. AVOID! Since there's no way to directly reply to your comment, I'll do it here definitively, meaning I won't follow up if you reply again. I notice you always comment on the negative reviews, quite a few of which are diametrically opposed to the idyllic ones, some of which are personally a bit dubious. I think you'd be better off without explanations... if you were truly sure, you wouldn't follow up on certain opinions, but would let the fruit of your labor speak for itself. Instead, without any substantive argument, you respond point by point, justifying and sometimes sarcastically deriding personal issues. You're right to avoid justifying the cost of the clams; it would be ridiculous for an €18 dish. As for "writing one thing and proving another," I'll simply tell you that I ate the dish because it was edible despite being mediocre. Also, regarding "the honesty of saying I liked the main course," please reread carefully. I wrote that it was okay, not "good," simply average. No one asked you to send the other customers away, nor did anyone show any annoyance, but that doesn't change the fact that the atmosphere was objectively chaotic. In conclusion, your piqued invitation to "go further" is completely out of place since I wrote "TO BE AVOIDED," so it's logical that I'll go further, inviting others to do so. Now, you decide whether to miss the opportunity to remain silent. As I said, I'll stop here and wish you a good evening.

29/01/2026: Although the food is reasonably good, albeit with a very repetitive menu, I don't recommend it due to the terrible service. I think it's the only place in Sarzana where, if you make a reservation, they assign you the worst seats. The waitress who welcomed us and who currently works the dining room is completely lacking in empathy, almost annoyed, and unreasonably inclined to underwhelm customers. We've been frequenting this restaurant occasionally for a while, and the staff used to be much friendlier. The service is truly embarrassing. After mentioning the service issues, I'll list a few technical flaws: incorrect orders sent back, cutlery not changed between meals, and the waitress moving it from the plate to the tablecloth, dirtying the surface. Soapstones cracked from cooking raw meat (they were intact before). I advise the owner to review the staff, perhaps supporting them with psychotherapy. Personally, I prefer to spend my money in more worthy places. This is not the case here. P.S. I see from the reviews that this is a fairly common negative opinion. It's easy to lose customers.

24/11/2025: A lot of restaurants in Monterosso were closed when we went and this is one of the only ones that’s open that’s at least 4/5 so we gave it a shot. Staff were super friendly and kind. Food was good but the seafood spaghetti was on the salty side. The fried mixed seafood was on point though! Not salty at all, crispy, well cooked inside! The two dishes balanced each other out. Their tiramisu was to die for!!! Would go back there just for that. They were pet friendly and kid friendly too. They had a baby chair for our daughter.

28/12/2025: Today, December 28th, I had the worst experience in terms of catering, not because of the food, but because of the dishonesty of the waiter who charged me double. If you go, ask first the cost of a tasting of typical products (on the menu €25 for two ... paid €50), and a plate of spaghetti with fish for two, list price €20, always split between two... (paid more than €50).

13/08/2025: We had a wonderful evening!! The terrace setting is idyllic. It's easy to understand and feel that this is a generous meal prepared by passionate people whose goal is to showcase local produce. The meal was divine, as was the service. A must-do if you're near Cinque Terre, rather than heading to a tourist trap.

30/12/2025: Service was too fast. The appetizers were good. The first courses were too generous. It's a shame because we wanted a second course as well. The location was beautiful. However, it was excellent value for money.

29/12/2025: In a panoramic location that is worth the trip, it offers a (free) fish-based menu.

11/09/2025: The best seafood risotto I've ever eaten, truly excellent. The other dishes were also noteworthy; all the flavors were recognizable.
