11/11/2025: Dinner with friends to celebrate the summer holidays with a good pizza 🍕 and a toast with a good fresh beer 🍺 the pizza was very good, the service good and the prices are fair.

09/11/2025: There was hair in the salad, and all the vegetables were stale! The onions were rotten, the pizza was like play dough. The staff in the kitchen and in the dining room were constantly arguing. No wonder their food is so disgusting. I don't recommend it!

27/10/2025: Nice place, a little pricey. €11 for a panna cotta with coffee. But good.

04/12/2025: A beautiful location and atmosphere, I was very pleased and relieved when they said they could make the pesto pasta vegan so I could eat it (no milk, eggs). Unfortunately we had requested penne pesto pasta and after twice bringing us the wrong pasta we decided to leave it. They said they wouldn't charge us as we had really tried to explain we wanted penne, but they still charged us which meant we ended up paying for two extra dishes. They also didn't say the bread cost extra too. To be honest I think they just thought we were foreigners they could hustle, so could be worth you showing a photo of what you want as 'penne' isn't clear enough and you'll end up with 'trofie' or the small penne instead of the larger size that I thought was standard for penne. 😂👎🏻

06/11/2025: A fabulous experience. Superb fried food delivered directly to the dock and enjoyed on the boat between Portovenere and La Palmaria. Compliments go to Massimo. We'll definitely be back.

21/10/2025: Beautifully situated on the water, it's incredibly cozy when it gets dark and the lights in the bay come on. The food was good, but nothing more to say. Service is prompt but not entirely up to par with the rules of gastronomy.

01/11/2025: We came back after a lovely first experience, hoping for another great meal but unfortunately, this time was a letdown. Things started off okay, but there was a mistake with our primi course. We politely asked for what we had originally ordered, and while it was eventually brought out, the dish wasn’t prepared well it just didn’t taste right. To make matters worse, the service felt cold. The corrected dish was brought out with no smile or acknowledgment, and overall we felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. It’s a shame, because we had high hopes based on our first visit, but this experience really changed our impression.

09/09/2025: Honestly, we had booked at another restaurant, but due to our delay, our table was given to someone else. Fair enough, no fuss, in fact, thank you! We discovered this place, seemingly anonymous from abroad but welcoming, intimate, and elegant inside, specifically in the courtyard. Indeed, upon entering, we find a hallway with the cash register, the restrooms (clean and tidy), the kitchen, and then the restaurant area with a beautiful, well-kept, and quiet internal courtyard. The dishes are well-presented and flavorful. Excellent wine selection. Coffee in the Moka pot at the table. Attentive service. Prices in line with the aforementioned setting. Recommended.

20/11/2025: Couples' birthday dinner, unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it. Rushed and inattentive service. We discovered there was a set menu when they presented us with the bill. There was no menu; the dishes were listed verbally and hastily. It was supposed to be a romantic dinner, but we felt like we were eating in a cafeteria. They had a large table, but that shouldn't affect the quality of the food or the service of other paying customers. Quite expensive, and the food wasn't memorable.

11/12/2025: Chaotic place, insufficient staff, long waits, "spaghetti veraci" for €18 a plate, not exactly al dente, bland, and with 18 clams, small, counted, the rest empty shells; sea bream and side dish okay. AVOID! Since there's no way to directly reply to your comment, I'll do it here definitively, meaning I won't follow up if you reply again. I notice you always comment on the negative reviews, quite a few of which are diametrically opposed to the idyllic ones, some of which are personally a bit dubious. I think you'd be better off without explanations... if you were truly sure, you wouldn't follow up on certain opinions, but would let the fruit of your labor speak for itself. Instead, without any substantive argument, you respond point by point, justifying and sometimes sarcastically deriding personal issues. You're right to avoid justifying the cost of the clams; it would be ridiculous for an €18 dish. As for "writing one thing and proving another," I'll simply tell you that I ate the dish because it was edible despite being mediocre. Also, regarding "the honesty of saying I liked the main course," please reread carefully. I wrote that it was okay, not "good," simply average. No one asked you to send the other customers away, nor did anyone show any annoyance, but that doesn't change the fact that the atmosphere was objectively chaotic. In conclusion, your piqued invitation to "go further" is completely out of place since I wrote "TO BE AVOIDED," so it's logical that I'll go further, inviting others to do so. Now, you decide whether to miss the opportunity to remain silent. As I said, I'll stop here and wish you a good evening.

09/12/2025: Generous and incredibly tasty portions. Attentive and prompt service, and a varied selection. Macaroni cacio e pepe is wonderful!! Very fair price. I stumbled upon it by chance, and I'll definitely be back.

04/11/2025: A seafood restaurant with excellent value! The black troffie are excellent...must try! The staff is friendly and attentive! I'll be back soon to try other dishes.

09/09/2025: Terrible treatment. Endless wait, which with a small child becomes a nightmare. The waitress tries to justify the hours-long wait. Tables after ours are served first. And last but not least, our car is blocked by another car in the restaurant parking lot without any prompt resolution.

19/10/2025: Reservation: We called three times without receiving an answer. Luckily, they called us back and offered us dinner at either Seating 1 (7:30 PM) or Seating 2 (9:00 PM). We chose Seating 1 at 7:00 PM, and over the phone, we were told several times, rather annoyingly, "Please note, the table must be vacated at 9:00 PM sharp," and "Please inform your guests that the table must be vacated at 9:00 PM." Let's just say we didn't get off to the best start when making the reservation. Welcome: We arrived at 7:20 PM. The staff was outside smoking, and they didn't let us in until 7:30 PM sharp. That's no big deal. In the meantime, we read the menu and made up our minds about what to order. Ordering: The girl who came to take our order was very friendly and explained the various options. Service: The guy with the ponytail who brought the hot stone to cook the meat was quite rude: as soon as he arrived, he handed over the stone and warned us not to put oil on it due to the risk of flames/smoke, and so far so good. When I pointed out that the stone was quite black on the surface (in a completely calm and friendly manner), he immediately got annoyed, took the stone back, and went back to the kitchen, cursing things like "let's start the evening off right!" In amazement, we awaited his return with a new stone, and in a snobbish manner, he said, "Is this okay?!" I didn't think the guy's attitude was very nice; he could have handled his frustration differently. The other waitresses, however, were kind. Food: 5 people, we ordered: - Testaroli with oil and cheese - Hunter's menu - Panigacci with prosciutto, stracchino cheese, and vegetables - Baked fish with vegetables - Paccheri with fish sauce - Water Personally, I found the baked fish with vegetables good, perhaps a little too greasy, but overall okay. The panigacci were average, and the prosciutto was good. I can't comment on the other dishes because I didn't try them, but I think the taste of the food was negatively impacted by the service, as the atmosphere at the table was ruined by the waiter's rude attitude. Bill: The cashier was very kind, and we spent about €100, which I think was more or less fair for what we ate. Conclusion: The place has potential, but I don't think we'll return, considering the poor service experience and the rude way we were treated when booking. Sorry, but we're a no-go!

15/10/2025: A very welcoming restaurant in the center of Sarzana. The menu features fish and meat, and the first courses are very good; I struggle to pass up anything. The service is friendly and efficient, and the wait for your food is short. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

22/10/2025: We had lunch menu for 13 € each: risotto with prawns, and deep-fried seafood. The risotto was excellent and the seafood was a little too dry, but can't complain for the price!

13/08/2025: We had a wonderful evening!! The terrace setting is idyllic. It's easy to understand and feel that this is a generous meal prepared by passionate people whose goal is to showcase local produce. The meal was divine, as was the service. A must-do if you're near Cinque Terre, rather than heading to a tourist trap.

We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a restaurant where quality and friendliness go hand in hand.

27/10/2025: Ely has been our "pizza night" place for years and we really enjoy it. Occasionally we have other things and this year we had one of their pasta daily specials, a ravioli perhaps with truffle and burrata (sorry it was 1 1/2 months ago)……omg, it was so amazing. Though it is no longer on the menu, we also appreciated them making the mussels in white wine and lemon.
