22/03/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere and a pleasant sea view. The dishes are carefully crafted using fresh ingredients, with generous portions and well-balanced flavors. I recommend Claudio's spaghetti. A place you'll always want to return to.

25/01/2026: Evening of September 21, 25. We're about to go in and the waitress points to two tables to choose from. A guy, I assume the owner, interrupts, desperate for attention. He tells me everything is already full and booked (I see two out of three tables free). Then he starts making jokes about everyone's physical characteristics. I ask him: are you going to make us pizza in the end or not? With a smug air, he peremptorily points to a table that isn't one of the two the waitress indicated. Almost as if he were offering us charity! I signal to my wife for us to leave. The freak stammers that he was joking. "No, dear, learn to behave and then we'll see." For the record: just a few steps away we find another pizzeria where we were very happy. And since you're acting so much like Superman, comment on my review, because you must remember the episode well.

04/12/2025: First time I went there... lunch for employees and management... about 40 people divided between two floors... I had some doubts, but the service was efficient, the food excellent... (the ravioli exceptional), white and red wines from a local producer... everything really good. I don't know the price, but I think it was reasonable. I recommend it.

29/03/2026: A perfect dinner: we dined as a couple on a Saturday evening and it was a delightful experience. We were warmly welcomed, and the attentive and thoughtful service continued throughout the evening. We began with a delicious anchovy appetizer, followed by seafood ravioli with seafood ragù, which was the best dish of the evening and the one I would recommend to anyone who comes to this restaurant. A flavorful, authentic first course, rich in seafood, simply perfect. The catch of the day, in this case a sea bream, was equally as delicious: oven-baked, one of the best fish I've ever eaten, unfussy, plump, and perfectly cooked. We finished with tiramisu and lemon cake. All in a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'd put it among the top two or three restaurants in Levanto, highly recommended!

06/02/2026: Ottone Primo is undoubtedly one of Sarzana's most popular restaurants, located under the arcades of the central Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. My wife and I dined here, sampling some excellent seafood. However, the hefty final bill certainly didn't enhance the experience. For the price of €160, with a €27 bottle of wine (two appetizers, one first course, one second course, and one dessert), one might expect a touch more flair in the service or the dishes. Alas, this wasn't the case. I'd like to point out that the dinner went off without any particular problems (perhaps the seafood carbonara was a bit bland), but justifying and being enthusiastic after spending that much is a difficult task.

08/03/2026: My boyfriend and I came for lunch. We were very impressed and thrilled with the food, service, and ambiance. Beautiful location, with a seaside feel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and approachable. Excellent cuisine with a vast and varied menu. We also met the chef and the owner. Lovely people. The quality/price ratio was more than reasonable. The fish was fresh and high-quality, with a regal raw ham. As we told him, "He definitely has two new regulars." Highly recommended. You won't regret it!!!!!

14/03/2026: The restaurant is located inside a small, welcoming hotel overlooking the bay of Le Grazie (Portovenere). The spacious, welcoming dining room is tastefully furnished. The cuisine is top-notch, with seafood specialties. The service is prompt and courteous, and the wine list offers excellent selections. I also enjoyed the desserts, all homemade. We'll definitely be returning.

04/12/2025: A beautiful location and atmosphere, I was very pleased and relieved when they said they could make the pesto pasta vegan so I could eat it (no milk, eggs). Unfortunately we had requested penne pesto pasta and after twice bringing us the wrong pasta we decided to leave it. They said they wouldn't charge us as we had really tried to explain we wanted penne, but they still charged us which meant we ended up paying for two extra dishes. They also didn't say the bread cost extra too. To be honest I think they just thought we were foreigners they could hustle, so could be worth you showing a photo of what you want as 'penne' isn't clear enough and you'll end up with 'trofie' or the small penne instead of the larger size that I thought was standard for penne. 😂👎🏻
