28/06/2026: Excellent experience, we've been coming here for years. The hotel is very elegant and clean. The owners are very helpful, which is rare, and all the staff are attentive. The food is excellent and well-prepared.
Located on the seafront and close to the center.

07/07/2026: A welcoming restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are generous, carefully crafted, and prepared with quality ingredients. We chose to share the seafood spaghetti because the portion was generous, and it turned out excellent. The mixed fried calamari was also excellent: crispy, flavorful, and very filling.
The quality-price ratio is absolutely excellent. Also noteworthy is the attentive and professional service, and the very kind waiters, who made us feel welcome. A very positive experience: we will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for good seafood and generous portions.

My partner is vegan, and we really appreciated the chef Franco's hospitality. He offered original, carefully prepared vegan dishes.
The chef and staff, especially Tullio, were incredibly kind, and we felt right at home. The food is fresh, excellent quality, and cooked and served with passion and love.
The atmosphere is truly relaxing, perfect for enjoying a peaceful dinner.
We'll definitely be back.
11/07/2026: Two words would be needed to describe this dinner: "I don't know."
The reason is that you arrive at this stunning 18th-century villa (truly, a top-notch location), expecting to eat something special and, instead, you find completely anonymous dishes.
Despite the quality of the ingredients, the only truly positive note, you're treated to dishes that make no sense. Fixed menu (which, by the way, wasn't even explained to us), decent entrée, mixed appetizers, a flavorless first course, a second course (some diners' sea bream was even raw), a dessert and a homemade liqueur. All this for how much? 50 euros per person, payable in cash only. The service, unfortunately, was also a sore point. Although friendly, they were unprofessional, distracted, and clumsy. If I had to explain what this place is like, I wouldn't know what to say. It didn't tell me anything.
(I also add, very long waiting times).

02/08/2026: It’s a great place with good food but the price is a little too high service is not great you need to walk to the person to order or to ask the menu atmosphere is pretty good because is quiet and very relaxing.
19/07/2026: We were disappointed with our visit. My child and I were not served. The waitress came over, but she clearly wasn't interested in our child's order. This attitude left a bad impression, so we're unlikely to return.

05/07/2026: Delicious pizza, pasta with shrimp and calamari, too. Brilliant cappuccino. Incredibly friendly service and very fast order fulfillment. An atmospheric restaurant on a charming street with views of beautiful orange trees and a gentle breeze from the coast. We returned here several times during our stay.

24/02/2026: It's a lovely restaurant, on a quiet little square away from the tourist crowds. There's very little foot traffic. A great find; we go back every time we're in San Remo. The food is good (especially the trofie al pesto!) and the waiter is very friendly. 🤍

A simple, relaxed evening, but one that was truly special thanks to the hospitality, the service, and above all, the food we were served.
We ordered two truly extraordinary Cappon Magro. As a Ligurian by birth, I can honestly say that at El Billi, you can enjoy one of the best Cappon Magro on the Western Riviera.
Carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, attentive service, and a truly wonderful welcome.

For me, El Billie is the ultimate Italian restaurant and pizzeria.
I have known Billie for more than ten years, and one thing has never changed: his smile, his passion, and his genuine hospitality. Every visit feels like coming home.
Whether it's a perfectly baked pizza, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, tender octopus, or a beautifully grilled seafood platter, the kitchen delivers outstanding quality every single time.
What impresses me just as much is the atmosphere behind the scenes. Billie treats his team with respect, and you can feel it immediately. The staff are engaged, motivated, attentive, and proud of what they do. Great leadership always reaches the customer.
El Billie has never disappointed me—except on the rare occasion when I arrived and found the door closed.
One recommendation: reserve your table in the evening. The restaurant is just as popular with locals as it is with visitors.

10/07/2026: I chose this restaurant on a whim, because it felt right, and they had pasta alle vongole on the menu, exactly what I was in the mood for.
So delicious, truly incredible. I would order a second one in a heartbeat.
Very good beer beforehand, and a fine white wine during the meal, which I let them choose.
Perfect espresso afterwards. Happy happy happy.

The way they care despite the madness, the quality of the ingredients, of the recepies, of their discernment. High leveles Italian Cuisine standards in a place that could have been just a one time passage. This is not. This stays. They chose integrity, quality, real values. 07/03/2026: Passing through Sanremo for the weekend, this restaurant came highly recommended.
And we weren't disappointed! 🤩
First of all, the service was impeccable: incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire meal.
The beautiful setting and cozy atmosphere were perfect for us.
The food also lived up to the enchanting surroundings: everything was fresh and homemade.

26/01/2026: We entered, drawn by the 4.4 Google rating, but our first impression was immediately negative: the room was deserted and the atmosphere dull, which should have been concerning. The decor is decidedly dated and ugly, with those red and black rose-patterned tiles that make the space heavy and unwelcoming.
As for the food, we were completely disappointed. The prices for the appetizers are very high, which is unjustifiable given the quality. We ate frozen fish and flavorless first courses. The menu is too extensive: there are too many dishes on the menu, and the quality suffers significantly. It's much better to offer a few well-made dishes than thirty poorly executed ones.
Paying €40 per person for this experience is a real shame. It seems the chef has lost his passion for good food. A restyling of the restaurant and a thorough overhaul of the menu are absolutely necessary. Not recommended.

His response is as childish as it is revealing. You confuse hunger with enjoyment: we finished the (mediocre) ravioli simply because we were hungry, but the tagliolini were left there precisely because they were inedible. Instead of lashing out at the customers' style or making absurd comparisons to France, you should ask yourself why a "historic" establishment serves frozen fish and tasteless dishes. Attacking guests' clothing is the last resort of those who no longer know how to cook. Best regards to you and your rudeness.
