05/07/2026: Not even worth one star... We wanted to have a coffee and a cocktail late in the evening, but the server claimed they didn't have any coffee... Yeah, right, he simply refused to give us a table because there were other guests with coffee cups in front of them. That's what they call hospitality. Out of about 11 tables, only 4 were occupied.

09/08/2026: I went in the afternoon for a snack and a drink on the terrace and everything went well. The guys were great and everything was so good that we decided to book dinner for that evening, set for 8:30 PM on the pier, but it didn't go so well. We arrived and immediately got confused about the table. Is there a table on the pier or not? Maybe on the veranda? You took us to the table on the pier, where the temperature was perfect, but then you suddenly told us to go to the veranda, where it was decidedly hot, and we decided to leave. We realized that the table was being contested by two other regular and well-known guests, and that's fine, but you failed to be fair to us. It's also true that you tried to make amends by telling me the table would be ready on the pier in ten minutes, but when you arrive at a restaurant, a welcome is essential to getting started and feeling comfortable. On the other hand, you gave us a welcoming that was, to say the least, embarrassing, and therefore, you're not the right restaurant for us. I would like to point out that the three stars are for the guys at the bar on the terrace because I wouldn't give the restaurant even one!

03/11/2025: Beautiful location; fresh Fish; but then thats about it; staff and boss welcome you but After payment and more than 10% tip , no one cares about you anymore; Food is very commercial, there is no italian chef or Mama in this kitchen.. this is fare away from the typical Osteria

01/03/2026: We had takeout one evening, and everything was delicious, both the burgers and the arrosticini. The service was friendly and fast. Perhaps the beer was a little overpriced (€4 for €33), but otherwise everything was perfect.

14/08/2026: We went for breakfast and a snack: spectacular views overlooking the sea near the little church of Sant'Ampelio. Generous brioches filled with Nutella and jam, friendly and attentive service with glasses of water to accompany cappuccinos and biscuits, clean bathrooms: nothing better to start a beautiful day in Bordighera. The violet ice cream is unique.

13/08/2026: Very bad experience at La Réserve in Bordighera. We came today as 6 people, with a 4-year-old daughter, and frankly, the reception was really bad. We waited about 15 minutes at the entrance, in full heat, without anyone coming to see us. However, several servers and managers walked past us several times, without saying hello, without looking at us and without even asking us what we wanted. We clearly felt like we were being ignored. After 15 minutes of waiting, we had to go and ask ourselves if we could have a table. We were simply told: “No, it is not possible. » No apology for the wait, no explanation, nothing. We can completely understand that a restaurant is full or that there is no room for 6 people. But letting customers wait 15 minutes without even saying hello, especially with a 4-year-old child in the heat, is not normal. It was enough to simply come to see us from the start and tell us that there was no room. It would have taken 30 seconds. We found the reception very cold, very rude and not at all professional. We therefore left very disappointed and with a very bad image of this restaurant. We will not be returning and we clearly do not recommend it. ⸻ Bad experience at La Riserva di Bordighera.
