06/08/2025: I'm in love with Imperia. Like every year, almost like a ritual, I have to go to Lanterna Blu to relive the same experience that has been with me since I was a child. La Lanterna Blu isn't just a restaurant; it's the symbol of this beautiful province. It's a magical place characterized by an elegant, distinguished, clean, and comfortable setting. Max makes you feel right at home, from the moment you greet him to when you leave. But let's move on to the dishes. What can I say? They're in keeping with the location and could sum it all up in one word: "Quality." The catch of the day I ate was sublime; the ingredients were fresh and served with care and elegance, the attention to the customer and their needs was attentive, and the wine list was vast. All these qualities should be taken for granted, but unfortunately, these days, they're not easy to find in the restaurant world. In short, maybe it's just me who has a soft spot for this place, but it's definitely a place worth visiting if you're in the area. See you soon, Max.

30/06/2025: For my birthday party, a great welcome, excellent dishes, impeccable service, all in delicacy, the excellent wines were also included in the price of the menu, a magnificent setting, everything contributed to making this evening a magical moment! Thank you for this beautiful evening

20/08/2025: There were 8 of us in this restaurant which seemed okay to us according to the reviews. What a disappointment!!! A very nice waiter, however, half an hour of waiting for a "burata" dish with 1 tomato cut into four and a ball of Burata taken out of the bag and placed on the tomatoes without seasoning, a Milanese escalope arrived 10mm later while everyone was served and without presentation, without lemon etc.. inedible gnocchi etc... Apart from the Sicilian tuna which was okay. Very disappointed despite a picturesque setting and correct reviews. To top it all off, a hefty bill with a mini scoop of lemon ice cream at €7.50 and the bourata at €16, scandalous.

20/08/2025: Ordered: Buffalo tomatoes Received An unripe tomato cut into quarters with a scoop of buffalo tomatoes. No olive oil. No basil. The dish that must have cost them 1 euro. Sold: 16 euros

10/08/2025: Everything was simply top-notch. Excellent food and service that, unfortunately, isn't found everywhere else in Italy. The best restaurant of our entire vacation in Liguria.

09/08/2025: The restaurant serves pretty good Italian cuisine, with fresh pasta and pleasant flavors. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is decent, if a little slow at times. On the other hand, the prices are really excessive for what's served: the portions are modest and the bill mounts up quickly. A decent experience overall, but the value for money leaves something to be desired.

17/07/2025: Vom Aperol bis zum Dessert ein sensationelles Erlebnis. Gestartet mit einem feinen Amuse Bouche, gefolgt von drei hervorragenden Gängen. Zum Abschluss ein Digestif aufs Haus und ein kleines Geschenk. Sehr zuvorkommender Service und traumhafte Lage über dem ligurischen Meer.

16/07/2025: Location consigliata da una spiaggia di Sanremo ( ahimè pessimo consiglio). Location tipica di ristorante cinese all you can eat di Milano con l unica differenza in esposizione una bottigliera da locale notturno. Esperienza culinaria pessima ( napulè al porto vecchio in confronto ha 3 stelle Michelin) primi molto basilari e privi di gusto, mare in vapore pessimo. Avevamo aspettative positive siamo usciti molto delusi da non tornarci mai più. Sconsigliato per gli amanti del mare e del buon gusto con prezzi da ristorante e cucina da trattoria scadente. Servizio buono camerieri molto cordiali. EVITATE DI ANDARCI PER GUSTARVI IL MARE! Questa location andrebbe bene per gli amanti dell american bar NON RISTORANTE!

09/08/2025: Pretty good pizza but then the "welcome" from a waitress at 11:50 a.m. who refused to let us sit down while other attentive servers sat other customers without any problem... Too bad, it was the second time we came after a good experience, but I won't be back. How can we accept having employees like that...

21/07/2025: Nous avons dîné dans ce resto .assiette de poissons .pizza Buffalo ..salade verte .et tiramisu.c’était bon mais l’assiette de poissons était chère par rapport a la qualité (25 euros )

15/02/2025: Ogni anno (da ormai diverso tempo) quando sono in vacanza in queste zone, è ormai una tappa fissa la cena in questo ristorante. Mi sono sempre trovato 'molti bene' in rapporta alla qualità /'prezzo, piatti di pesce squisiti e molto abbondanti ma sopratutto anche di qualità. Personale premuroso e molto attento sopratutto 'gentile', consigliatissimo!!

07/05/2025: super centrale, ma appena un po' defilato rispetto al traffico del sabato sera scontato. bella serata da ogni punto di vista, atmosfera da bistrot, piatti sfiziosi e cocktails abbinati molto interessanti.

15/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato da loro in 8 persone venerdì scorso ed era tutto buonissimo, per cui abbiamo deciso di andare nuovamente là sera successiva.. una delusione, sembrava avessero cambiato gestione in 24 ore, il giorno prima avevo preso una grigliata di pesce ed era buonissima ed abbondante l, il giorno seguente era misera, pezzi piccoli, mancava il calamaro e il branzino puzzava.. non capisco come possa succedere una cosa del genere.. delusa

14/08/2025: A very, very good restaurant! We started with an eggplant and shrimp fritter appetizer, then enjoyed seafood pasta and a tuna pizza. Finally, a tiramisu: everything was truly delicious. Very pleasant service and a friendly setting. I highly recommend it.

10/08/2025: I had a wonderful evening meal with my best friend. Honestly, the staff were very attentive to us. The quality of the ingredients was incredible and fresh, the food was fantastic, and the wine was excellent. Of course, those who find it too expensive should perhaps stick to the fish and chips or a Frito Misto to share. I'm not forgetting the setting, which was very pleasant, with a great location in the pretty square, and a small gesture on the bill with two complimentary glasses of wine. Thank you very much.
