17/02/2026: Excellent! They welcomed us for lunch right at the end of our lunch hour. Very kind. Excellent service. The dishes were plentiful, well-seasoned, and delicious. Prices were reasonable. The place is gorgeous. Perfect.

25/12/2025: We came here with the family for Christmas lunch and were pleasantly surprised. I had my doubts because the restaurant was packed, but despite everything, all the dishes were well executed. The appetizer consisted of six courses with various traditional dishes. The first course was ravioli with octopus sauce (the octopus was truly tender, congratulations!). Next up was Ligurian-style swordfish, a seafood steak, firm to the bite and rich in flavor. Finally, we couldn't help but finish with the classic panettone and pandoro with mascarpone cream (the mascarpone cream was exceptional). Kudos to the entire staff.

14/08/2025: one star because you can't give less, good pizza but the boss is a very rude and impolite person after eating in his restaurant and having stopped in front waiting for my cell phone to charge I was kicked out of the restaurant because I had 2 backpacks behind me and according to him I was doing something that wasn't right, a shame also because the place was also nice m

13/11/2025: Strolling along the Camogli seafront, we chose this charming little restaurant on the Riviera, drawn by the simple menu and family-run cuisine. The food isn't bad, and it's not expensive, despite our location, but everything is reasonable: you pay for what you eat... and I must say, I've paid more elsewhere, but the (very meager) menu certainly wasn't worth more than I paid. I'll definitely go somewhere else next time.

08/03/2026: I'm writing this review from the toilet, where I've been sitting since 4:00 a.m., after a dinner that was expensive in every sense of the word. The place is cold. The bill is steep (three dishes, two puddings, a glass of wine, and a coffee cost more than seventy euros...). The staff is courteous, but if I may offer one piece of advice, look for other options.

18/01/2026: I usually write reviews with great respect for the work of others, but unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant in the days immediately preceding Epiphany did not live up to expectations. The restaurant, despite being heated, was extremely cold: we had to wear jackets to our meals, an uncomfortable situation for those who want to enjoy a quiet lunch. The service, despite the staff's great kindness and courtesy—the only truly positive aspect of the day—was very slow. The restaurant was not crowded, yet the wait was excessively long. As for the cuisine, we were not convinced by the quality of the dishes: the food seemed pre-cooked, and the pasta, in particular, arrived decidedly overcooked. Even the wine served suggested it had been open for a while, with a vinegary flavor, a detail that further detracted from the overall experience. I hope this report can serve as a constructive starting point for improvement, because the kindness of the staff deserves to be matched by excellent service and food.

18/03/2026: It's a huge disappointment. We had lunch at Alta Marea, as we've done every year for the past 10 years, on the road to Alassio. I was really looking forward to their delicious lobster pasta...what happened? Change of chef? Financial problems? The food and the atmosphere have completely changed. Our dish arrived and it was spaghetti in an uncooked tomato sauce straight from the jar...with empty lobster shells on top! When we asked why the shells were empty, we were told that the lobster was inside...but to be generous, there was only about half a lobster tail for three people! We didn't eat a single bite of our meal, which was tasteless, and nobody seemed to care... When it came time to pay the bill, we tried to express our dissatisfaction, but the owner pretended not to understand and simply told us to leave without making a fuss. It's a real disappointment for a restaurant I used to love.

23/01/2026: The fries are great, and the pizza is good too. The rest isn't recommended. The 300g burger for €14 is nothing more than a half-cooked patty of minced meat with no other ingredients. A shame, I was looking forward to a nice burger.

19/05/2025: Siamo ritornati a distanza di qualche anno e abbiamo ritrovato piacevolmente la stessa qualità e cortesia. Locale elegante con cucina piuttosto raffinata e ricercata, piatti non convenzionali con gusti davvero speciali. Ogni portata è una piacevole sensazione, crema di zucca con calamaro croccante davvero fantastica! Luogo assolutamente consigliato magari per festeggiare una ricorrenza e andare sul sicuro perché mangerete senza dubbio alla grande. Personale estremamente preparato, location top, del resto siete a Boccadasse, non serve dire nulla. Conto giusto per la qualità generale!

16/05/2025: Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Il pesce è di ottima qualità. Le porzioni soprattutto dei secondi un po’ troppo piccole ( il trancio di ombrina seppur squisito erano 3 bocconi). Nel complesso sia stati bene, piazzetta molto tranquilla a pochi metri dal mare, in considerazione del conto vorresti mangiare un pochino di più .

30/12/2025: Everything was delicious, especially the fried squid! Highly recommended! Relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere. A must-try every time I come to Diano! Keep it up!!!

13/03/2026: Fine food, elegantly prepared, attentive service, but too expensive even for Riomaggiore. A glass of local white wine for €12 is too much, even if it really does come directly from Riomaggiore. Portions are very small.

10/03/2026: First courses with fish that was half fresh and half inedible. High prices for mediocre, if not poor, quality. The waiter was friendly, but then you could see him smoking as soon as he came out and then continuing to serve without even washing his hands. When it came time to pay, I think the owner made us wait while she picked up another table's dessert order. The quality/price ratio was not up to par. I won't be returning.

20/08/2025: We had a great time!!! The food? Truly EXCELLENT, no joke! 😋 Marco and Eva are spectacular people, the kind that make you feel at home right away. Then there's Chiara, the girl in the dining room: incredibly kind and super helpful. She was incredibly nervous about opening a bottle of wine 🍷, but by joking with her, it passed in an instant! 💯💯 Paolo, on the other hand, makes amazing spritzes, he puts his heart and soul into every glass... and, by the way, he has gorgeous aquamarine nail polish! 💅✨ There were also other guys who brought us breakfast, but I don't know their names yet (I promise updates as soon as I find out!). In short, everyone was truly spectacular!!! And what about the beach service? Effective and efficient, what more could you ask for? Thank you so much everyone! Lasko

22/02/2026: The service was extremely slow: we waited an extremely long time for our dishes, and it was clearly evident that the waiters were not working together at all. They seemed disorganized and not very attentive to the tables. The kitchen also took too long, so much so that several people got up and left without even eating. Cleanliness was mediocre: not a serious issue, but certainly not up to the standards of a restaurant that wants to make a good impression. The bill was incorrect. Overall, a negative experience. I hope they can improve their organization and timing. At the moment, I wouldn't recommend it.

15/02/2026: A truly disappointing lunch, both for the Venere rice with fish and the fried fish, which were overpriced for the quality and quantity. Luckily, we only had one dish.

24/02/2026: La Ola is a magnificent place. I've been coming here for years and honestly don't understand the negative reviews. It's a unique place: a terrace overlooking the sea, like being on a yacht at anchor. You're literally on the open sea, both in the interior dining room with its large windows overlooking the water and on the enchanting terrace nestled among the rocks. I had lunch with an all-seafood menu: fish first course, fish second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee... only 20 euros. But what's truly impressive is the quality of the food, combined with a setting of rare beauty. It fills your heart with the light, the scent of the sea, and the authentic atmosphere you breathe. 21/12/2025: I had a doubt. Excellent place!! I was surprised to see the low price. Ligurian cuisine, with excellent options. Friendly and helpful staff, with suggestions for making the most of the experience. I tried various dishes, almost all with anchovies, per my request, because I'm very fond of them. Excellent fried food. Excellent fish. I think it gets top marks.

06/10/2025: We're in Venice with the Spina brothers. If knowledge is like their restaurant, go there without a doubt!

26/07/2025: Ristorante pizzeria in una via un po fuori dal centro di monterosso con un menù a base di pesce e qualche altro piatto ed è pure pizzeria. Ho mangiato una insalata di polipo eccezionale gustosa e abbondante accompagnata da una vellutata di patate buonissima. Poi trofie con pesto e patate veramente buone. Peccato per le cozze ripiene da cui mi aspettavo di più in quanto si sentiva solo il ripieno molto abbondante e le cozze così sono sparite. Peccato perché avrei dato volentieri il punteggio più alto Servizio puntuale e cordiale. Prezzi nella media per queste località

17/02/2026: Seafood lunch with raw fish and spaghetti with clams. High quality, perfectly prepared dishes, excellent service, and reasonable prices. A special mention goes to Mario, the dining room manager, who is very kind and friendly.
