13/11/2025: Strolling along the Camogli seafront, we chose this charming little restaurant on the Riviera, drawn by the simple menu and family-run cuisine.
The food isn't bad, and it's not expensive, despite our location, but everything is reasonable: you pay for what you eat... and I must say, I've paid more elsewhere, but the (very meager) menu certainly wasn't worth more than I paid.
I'll definitely go somewhere else next time.

04/05/2026: We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Gabbiano. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting, making it easy to unwind.
Breakfast was fresh and varied, with quality ingredients and plenty of choice to start the day right. The location was also ideal—convenient yet peaceful, perfect for both exploring and relaxing.
Overall, Hotel Gabbiano delivered a truly memorable experience with excellent service and comfort throughout. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.

02/05/2026: I strongly advise against this place. The welcome was rude, making us feel almost like we were in the way. The quality of the ingredients is decidedly poor, far from what one would expect from an osteria of this name. The prices are definitely too high for such a low standard of cuisine. We won't be returning.
02/05/2026: We were in the early May. The weather was nice. The atmosphere was calm and very pleasant. The food was also good. Fairly priced.

01/04/2026: A truly disappointing experience. I ordered classic lasagna, but it was anything but "classic": out of about 100 grams of product, the meat was practically nonexistent, perhaps barely 5 grams. More than lasagna with ragù, it tasted like pasta with sauce and only a faint hint of meat.
When I raised the issue, the owner was rude and unprofessional, arrogantly responding with "I make it this way," with no willingness to listen or find a solution. To make matters worse, she also threatened to call the police for a legitimate complaint.
All this for €13, a completely illogical price for such low quality and such customer service.
Unfortunately, I have to give it one star, but I wouldn't have given it even one.

03/07/2026: It's a shame about the service, the food is also good, but after having explicitly requested lemon for the fried food I was told that there was no lemon. I pointed out that the paper they use to serve the fried food is not food-grade (the fried food is served on the printed side) and I was told I didn't know... it wouldn't take much to cure a customer, it's a shame.

08/05/2026: We had a very good meal, the staff were particularly friendly. Beautiful view of the harbor. A very good place to eat.
06/05/2026: We had lunch there and ordered two types of pasta: penne and Alfredo spaghetti. The spaghetti was incredibly rich. We also ordered a fried chicken strip, which was delicious.
The only downside is that it's charged 5 euros per person, plus there's a tax on every order. They could have just offered one of the two. And I thank Ms. Nisreen for her excellent service.

03/06/2026: Even though the kitchen was still open for another 20 minutes, we received a warm welcome. The dishes were delicious, especially the mussels in broth with tomato sauce. Great, cozy atmosphere, attentive staff.

Both the hot/cold seafood appetizers and the pizza were very good!
Congratulations to the kindness and friendliness of the waitress, Giulia.
The only downside was the heat, despite the open windows and the ceiling fans.

Simply fantastic experience! One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. The food was incredibly fresh, the dishes generous, and prepared with great care. The fish was truly exceptional, and you could taste the quality of every ingredient.
The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel welcome right away. The service was fast and impeccable.
The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and perfect for a lovely evening with family or friends. The quality/price ratio is excellent.
I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone. Kudos to all the staff; keep up the good work!

12/06/2026: I imagine prices in Loano are on average higher than other places in the west, but seeing prices 20% higher than I remembered from last year was shocking to me. The location was excellent, the service good, and the food good.

14/07/2026: Amazing view and very kind staff, but the food was average and underwhelming, the portions were quite small for the price. Worth visiting mainly for the stunning location.
12/07/2026: AMAZING location, view, structure in front of the ocean, SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!! The restaurant has different options of ambients to sit, try to book and ask a table with ocean-view! We were afraid that food was not going to be good since they have the location, but food was great!

Since it changed management in April 2026, we've eaten at this restaurant several times, both at lunchtime and à la carte in the evening! The staff were extremely friendly and the chef was top-notch... Highly recommended.
