04/10/2025: We were there two years ago. We had a great meal. This time, a huge disappointment. They've changed management. Paper plates, plastic cutlery. How sad.

27/09/2025: A charming restaurant in Zoagli's main square. It's unpretentious (plastic cutlery and paper placemats), but the fried fish is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

24/02/2026: Terrible experience... A place with 5-star prices but 1-star quality, service, and ambiance... Perhaps the biggest rip-off of my life... Pre-cooked food and poor quality, shameful waitress who huffed and puffed at every request (which shouldn't even be made if it were a decent place) like ice for the wine or a plate for the shells... Plastic outdoor chairs (despite the 5-star rating)... A disgrace for the restaurant industry and for the city of La Spezia.

31/12/2025: Truly delicious, high-quality food and a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere—the restaurant is tastefully furnished and decorated, and the music was also thoughtful. The prices were absolutely reasonable. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again!

19/08/2025: Good food, but the experience was ruined by the management! We visited this restaurant recently with colleagues with high expectations, driven by the positive reviews of the food, and I must say we weren't disappointed: well-cooked dishes, quality ingredients, and decent portions. Unfortunately, however, the experience was severely compromised by the attitude of the owner, Mr. "Rude." Instead of welcoming customers with kindness and professionalism, we were met with rude, almost annoyed, and zero attention to detail. We felt like we were "being a nuisance," not welcome guests. A real shame, because the kitchen deserves a much better management: with a more courteous welcome and a little more attention, the restaurant would have all the makings of a point of reference. I don't know if we'll return: eating well is important, but feeling welcomed is just as important.

14/09/2025: A pizzeria that offers Italian specialties in addition to pizzas. The welcome is good, the pizzas and dishes are good, and the presentation is simple. The service is very pleasant and professional. The terrace is very pleasant. The value for money is excellent.

04/01/2026: On Wednesday the 31st, we went to this restaurant for dinner around nine o'clock. The place is very nice and the service is good, but unfortunately, the food is terrible. We ordered a grilled fish platter and three mixed fried fish platters. The grilled fish platter consisted of four scampi, a small piece of octopus, and two microscopic squid. The mixed fried fish platters were basically made of scraps: tiny fish heads, tiny shrimp, two or three pieces of squid, and only shrimp tails, without the shrimp inside. Terrible value for money, especially considering the very small portions and the exorbitant prices for what they serve. We left hungry. Highly not recommended. As if that weren't enough, we all felt very ill after that dinner.

04/10/2025: At first, I often walked past this fishmonger's shop without stopping because the vendors seemed TOO lively and a bit pushy. One day, however, I decided to go in, simply to have a look without obligation. I was greeted kindly and with a smile, and they said, "Sure, you can look without obligation to buy." From that moment on, everything changed. This fishmonger's shop has now become a daily stop: the staff is always available, HONEST, and TRANSPARENT. They never try to sell at all costs; in fact, they tell you clearly if a 🐟 is from the day before or if it was caught the day before. This HONESTY is RARE and PRECIOUS. THE 🐟 is of excellent quality, DIFFERENT from what you find elsewhere, because they have special suppliers: boats that fish especially for them, guaranteeing freshness and variety. They also offer a KITCHEN service, preparing truly tasty ready-made dishes, allowing you to take home not only fresh but also pre-cooked. I thank this fishmonger for the quality, honesty, and courtesy: they have TRANSFORMED my initial SUSPICION into a pleasant DAILY habit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I

07/12/2025: I visited Trattoria Barisone after the recent change of management and was thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and from the first moment you can sense the new energy and attention to detail. I started with ravioli al tocco, which released an incredibly inviting aroma: a rich, enveloping dish with a simply divine flavor. Next came a delicate swordfish carpaccio, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, perfect in its elegant simplicity. All this was accompanied by an excellent Lagrein, which perfectly rounded out the experience. The quality of the cuisine, combined with the kindness and professionalism of the service, makes the new management a true revelation. Trattoria Barisone is back, better than ever: highly recommended!

26/10/2025: This place is very appealing with an updated and cozy interior (they did have great seating outside but it was too chilly). We ordered the spaghetti with a mixture of shellfish and it was delicious!! The bread was like sourdough bread and great for dipping or shopping up your sauce. The service was attentive and friendly, we will be back.

13/10/2025: I had booked Friday 10/10 for Sunday 12/10 for a day in Monterosso. The owner or someone on his behalf told me, "Don't worry, we're in low season and there's no crowds." I'll leave my last name and cell phone number. On Sunday 12/10 we arrived for lunch and, to our disbelief, there was a note on the restaurant door saying they were closed due to a technical problem. It's okay that a problem could arise, but if you have reservations and you know you can't keep them with the contact details, it might be better to call to let them know what happened. Or, it's only the customer's obligation to call if they cancel. I'm sorry, but the problem was finding a place in other restaurants since we're in low season and there's no crowds. If we wanted to have lunch, we settled for a bit of focaccia and ate standing up.

24/09/2025: Very disappointing. Exactly 6 ravioli on the plate; we didn't taste the truffle. Not a bad dish, but €55 for 2 people and leaving on an empty stomach... I absolutely do not recommend it.
