28/05/2026: The only positive aspect is the location with a sea view. After that, there are a number of things that aren't quite right, especially considering the high price. The building, restaurant, and breakfast are all neglected, at €12 per person. The young man who served us is very committed and does his best, but unfortunately, the whole situation seems disastrous.

17/04/2026: Restaurant and resort nestled in the natural surroundings of Punta Chiappa in Camogli. Breathtaking views, friendly and welcoming staff. If you want to relax in a corner of paradise, you've come to the right place.

31/05/2026: We had an aperitif and it was very good. Fantastic value for money. The waiter who served us was very friendly.

31/03/2026: We were especially disappointed with the service. The things we didn't like: the restaurant was a bit cold. We ordered pasta with wild boar, and it had no smell or taste whatsoever. We thought it tasted like the muscle used to make broth. The wild boar, although purged, was clearly wild boar. The grated cheese, once stirred a bit in the bowl, showed some mold, and when we pointed this out, the lady tried to argue in vain, even saying she'd bring back some cheese, but that didn't happen—so much the better! Along with the fried potatoes, there was supposed to be a cutlet, but 15-20 minutes after the potatoes arrived and the other main course had already been finished, the lady asked us if everything was okay. At that point, we assumed the order was complete. We mentioned the cutlet, and to defuse the situation, she replied without apology, "I'm going to kill him." The positive things were a good pesto, the fresh homemade pasta, the potatoes and the cutlet which, although long to wait, was really good and also the simple tartare.

06/05/2026: The quality of the fish and dishes is excellent!

03/05/2026: Poor mixed fried fish, resulting in an allergic reaction (to histamine). 1.5 hours of waiting. Bread ran out. They didn't inform us that we were cash-only. Other customers left their tables because their food hadn't arrived, or complained like us about the quality of their dishes. When we expressed our disapproval of the dishes, including the seafood spaghetti, which they refused to bring to the table due to indecency (they said it was unpresentable), the owner (the restaurant's chef) responded rudely and left the restaurant, leaving the dining room staff in distress. We left 50 euros between the four of us for the bottle of wine we ordered and out of respect for the embarrassed waiters.

07/12/2025: I visited Trattoria Barisone after the recent change of management and was thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and from the first moment you can sense the new energy and attention to detail. I started with ravioli al tocco, which released an incredibly inviting aroma: a rich, enveloping dish with a simply divine flavor. Next came a delicate swordfish carpaccio, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, perfect in its elegant simplicity. All this was accompanied by an excellent Lagrein, which perfectly rounded out the experience. The quality of the cuisine, combined with the kindness and professionalism of the service, makes the new management a true revelation. Trattoria Barisone is back, better than ever: highly recommended!

08/07/2026: When we first got here to eat we saw decent prices and so we decided to sit down to eat. We ordered and then found out there was a coperta for 2.50€ PER PERSON. We were like ok, maybe the food is going to be really good. It was not good at all. We all ordered pizza and the dough was very thick with a very thin amount of topping on. One of the people at my table ordered a pizza de parma and it was horrible. It was supposed to have cheese in it but had very little, only in a couple of spots. Overall, I do not recommend to go to this place because even though the prices are attractive, it is not worth the money. It's a tourist trap!

04/07/2026: We sat as a group. We ate our meal, but when it came time to pay, they insisted on a single, collective payment; they wouldn't let us pay individually. Furthermore, despite the menu not listing a table fee, they charged 2.5 Euros per person for a massage. Even more ridiculously, they charged a table fee to our friends who didn't eat at the table but went to the market instead. Most importantly, their attitude was very indifferent; after the meal, customer satisfaction was unimportant, they only cared about the money and didn't engage with us much. I definitely do not recommend them.

28/04/2026: It's probably a little pricey, but I thought the mix of fries and calamari was good. Everything was freshly fried, and the portion was generous. I recommend it for a quick, takeout lunch.

01/04/2026: We had mozzarella and chips fried on the spot: very good. The guy who served us was very kind.

30/05/2026: The most terrible pasta with clams I've ever eaten, the prices are high despite the awful location.

24/08/2025: Dated restaurant, if you pay by card it seems like they are doing you a favor, unreadable receipts and very long waiting times, rude and uninterested owner, not a good choice at all, I strongly advise against it

24/08/2025: We came back specifically for pasta and clams, but it was really, really bad. Spaghettini (???!! I've never seen pasta and clams with the very fine ones) were also undercooked. There was no seafood flavor, really disappointing! The quality/price ratio was out of proportion. Too bad. I made a bad impression on the people I brought.
