08/06/2025: Avevo un bellissimo ricordo di questo ristorante che vantava una bravissima chef, ma ahimè’ la delusione e’ stata fortissima questa sera , posto sempre bello ma menu squallido e piatti senza sapore le linguine alle vongole sono migliori in alcune pizzerie ,il tris di acciughe fritte accompagnato dal bra da, il bra da freddo uscito dal frigo, una salsa rossa che sembrava la scatoletta di messa nella ciotola. Amareggiata molto, Carta dei vini inesistente conto esagerato

05/05/2025: Poor service and obscene environment. I went to eat there with a group of tourists and I was lucky that the food was good, because otherwise nothing would have been saved. They put us outside, practically on the street, sitting on a slope on bar chairs, under very dirty curtains that didn't even cover the entire table... and then moved us inside in case of rain, where however there wasn't room for everyone... In fact, some literally got caught in the rain. This only happened because they accepted far more people than necessary, more than they could pamper. So I can't say how they thought about it, because either they're greedy or they're stupid.

12/04/2025: Very good little family restaurant. The pizzas are good as are the à la carte dishes. Fair price. When adding, no additional tax or extra for cutlery.

17/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato qui per due sere, il locale è centrale e con un bel dehors, personale gentile e disponibile rispetto agli standard liguri. Piatti preparati con buoni ingredienti, quantità giuste come anche i prezzi. Entrambe le sere si sono un po' "incasinati" con le comande e il servizio, ma siamo in vacanza e quindi non ha creato particolari disagi. Da provare.

07/06/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante oggi pomeriggio a pranzo. Abbiamo preso un tris di antipasti, una lasagna, due primi di pesce e una grigliata mista. Tutto molto buono, soprattutto la grigliata completa e leggera (calamari spettacolari). Prezzo ottimo per rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale gentile e sorridente.

24/06/2025: The place has a good view, a bit noisy given that it's on the sidewalk. The food is acceptable, nothing special. The service is average; dishes are mixed up; one salad never arrived, and they changed another dish. I ordered spaghetti with seafood, hard squid, and unpeeled prawns... In short, I don't recommend it; the price is high.

23/06/2025: We stopped for a late breakfast and to get away from the hot sun, waitress was lovely and so was the food !! Shaded tables and a beautiful view :)

04/05/2025: Excellent! Le menu est allégé et raffiné, aussi bien pour manger une simple.pizza qu'un plat! Nous avions choisi une pizza sovrana et des "tagliolino fresco con gallinella"(petits morceaux tendres de poulet, taglatelles le tout arrosé d'une crème au citron- un vrai bonheur d'entrée en italie). Allez-y les yeux fermés...le patron est, qui plus est, très acceuillant!

29/04/2025: Siamo stati due mesi in trasferta a Ventimiglia e Il Vesuvio è diventato il nostro punto fisso. Locale sempre pulito, accogliente e curato. I titolari e il personale sono gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. Il menù è vario e la pizza davvero eccezionale, con ingredienti di qualità e impasto leggero Un posto dove si mangia bene e ci si sente accolti. Consigliatissimo

16/04/2025: L'intérieur est d'un décoration soignée avec quelques objets anciens. Je n'ai pas à me plaindre de l'accueil, ces dames sont charmantes. Par contre au niveau culinaire, ce jour la, j'ai pris du Lapin façon Ligurie : Quelle déception !! Pas de goût, viande ferme, quasi pas d'accompagnement. Dans ce genre de plat, le lapin doit être plus doré. Plat que j'ai délicieusement apprécié dans d'autres restaurants de Ligurie mais ici ça n'était vraiment pas le cas . Pour le reste ma femme a pris des raviolis qui me semble être avec sauce basilique. Elle a aimé mais un peu plus aurait été mieux. Il y a des restaurant qui vous donne un petit quelque chose à grignoter ou boire en arrivant , ici non. Et rien aussi en partant. Rapport qualité prix pas bon .

11/04/2025: El ambiente y la música hicieron un buen escenario. Personal muy agradable. Reserva una mesa a través de WhatsApp. Número en la ventana. Cerrado un jueves. No estoy seguro de por qué Trip Advisor dice cerrado temporalmente. Está abierto. Desafortunadamente la comida no es genial. La sopa de garbanzos era más o menos garbanzos en un tazón, y queso a la parrilla, un charco de queso derretido en una pizarra. Estofado de conejo básicamente un tazón de huesos con unas cuantas aceitunas. Quizás pedimos mal o simplemente no a nuestro gusto. El vino tinto de la casa era muy bueno. ¡Desearía haber pedido pasta! Trató de ordenar local, pero en esta ocasión, no fue la decisión correcta.

14/04/2025: Un endroit à ne pas rater si vous voulez passer un moment gourmet. Le restaurant est cosy. Le personnel est serviable, dynamique et à l'écoute. Les plats sont délicieux et succulents. Je recommande à 200%.

14/04/2025: Pub con menu vario, scelta di birre e cucina ligure veramente buona. Praticamente tutto fatto in casa, pasta servita in pentolino saporita e abbondante.

06/04/2025: We arrived by chance in Varazze. discovering this beach, not knowing if it was a service only for seasonal customers but a very polite and professional foreign girl welcomed us for an aperitif, after the aperitif, my husband and I arrived inside the place and the bartender welcomed us with a big smile, asking if everything was okay, taking an interest in the cocktails she recommended to us. A beautiful and pleasant day, we will gladly return...

03/04/2025: I came to Santa Caterina for lunch last Saturday, like almost every week for a few years now. Excellent food, impeccable service (always very kind and professional) and the location is already almost all in order!!!! I wanted to come back on Sunday with two of my friends to try the fish first courses and their mixed fried food. They too were enthusiastic about lunch! Greetings and cheers to the chefs of Santa Caterina Beach!

26/04/2025: Takeaway fried calamari and prawns. I get home and open it: a very small portion, not worth the 13 euros spent, also because the shrimp are microscopic as are the rings. It only tasted like batter the fish was non-existent.

02/01/2025: Allow me to express an opinion on the Gastronomy: Quality/Quantity compared to the price, absolutely clever! For the same costs I go to a restaurant!

10/06/2025: Locale accogliente e arredato in stile tipico ligure all'interno,con ampio dehors in affaccio sulla passeggiata a mare. Accoglienza cordiale e informale; servizio impeccabile. Grigliata di pesce e pizza margherita: la qualità risulta essere molto buona e la quantità adeguata. Prezzo finale corretto. Consigliato.

27/05/2025: Menù con troppi piatti, significa solo due cose: o in cucina sono in 6 minimo o c'è di mezzo una cucina preparata, non fresca al momento. Poi abbiamo il vizio tutto italiano di far pagare coperto e acqua a prezzi elevati. Infine i piatti: discreta la pizza con pasta sottile e quindi altamente digeribile, terribile la zuppetta di mare (portata anche fuori tempo quando il primo non era ancora finito) con tutto surgelato (tra un pesce e l'altro nessuna differenza di gusto) e un brodo che chiamarlo tale è un insulto al dado. Denso, aggressivo, pungente, poco invitante, acidoso. Infine il prezzo; sul menù la zuppetta è a € 20, sullo scontrino passa a € 23 !! In sostanza tra coperti e prezzi sbagliati ho lasciato € 10 di mancia. Assolutamente bocciato da tutti i punti di vista
