09/04/2025: We wonder who we're kidding, we come to Italy to taste a good pizza... and there we eat M...e, canned mushrooms, canned asparagus... In short, ABSOLUTELY avoid takeaway pizza. 🤢🤮

02/04/2025: Authentic italian design, many options of pizza, a nice waitress, but she doesn't speak english well 😁. At 6PM when we came, there were no people. Unfortunately, service pays 3€ per person.

30/03/2025: We arrived at 7:05 pm to eat, but we were really disturbing the staff, who gave us a very bad reception. So we went elsewhere.

29/03/2025: Disorganized service. Pizzas arrive 5 minutes before the main courses.

02/03/2025: Arrived at 12.25, bread and water were on the table at 12.31. At 1.50pm we left because our dishes had not yet been prepared. To be fair, we add that they did not want to pay for the service.

08/12/2024: We had delicious pizzas with very thin dough and well garnished. Very good value for money.

04/11/2024: Family dinner on a Monday evening. The pizzas are excellent and well garnished, as are the vongole pasta! Very good value for money. And having read the comments of poorly informed people, yes the service is chargeable (€1.50 per person) which is customary in Italy (tablecloth and cloth napkins) and no we will not serve you a carafe of water but still or sparkling bottled water is not expensive.

30/03/2025: We took the fixed fish menu, everything was excellent and the price was good, very kind and attentive, we will definitely be back.

24/11/2024: We have been several times in the last few weeks, but it is always the same music or biblical temples!! 2 hour wait, sitting at the table, to be served. I would say more than exaggerated.

24/10/2024: An excellent balance between quality and affordability. Roberto's frankness was very appreciable, as he clarified the non-availability of fresh frying. Very recommended!

06/04/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, lunch at a late hour but great availability from the staff. Generous and well-made dishes, satisfied the palate and good value for money.

09/03/2025: Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. We called at the last minute and they had room. The restaurant practically overlooks the sea. The fry still has an acceptable price compared to others (€18), but it was nothing special. The fish was not very fresh and you could smell that it was fried where they also fry other foods (they also have meat on the menu). However, the frying was done well. I recommend reviewing the vegetables, the onion wasn't even breaded while the courgettes didn't have a pleasant flavor. The first one cost quite a bit in my opinion, €12, although I saw that it costs even more in the area: that too was nothing special, mostly due to the tomato which was a bit abundant and the pasta almost disappeared. Coffee in short.

12/01/2025: This is one of the shops that our tour guide recommended. The focaccia was DELICIOUS. Plain focaccia was 1,50€, vegetarian was 3,00€.

10/08/2024: Ogni anno si torna col gruppo di amici e si riconferma la gentilezza e funzionalità del servizio, la buona cucina e il rapporto qualità prezzo. Nota di merito, inoltre, ai giovani camerieri: simpatici, cortesi e svegli, caratteristiche oggi giorno non comuni!! Bravi!

28/02/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante domenica a pranzo, il ristorante è molto bello, curato e pulito. Il personale e molto gentile é disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato veramente molto bene, piatti curati e cibo molto fresco ogni piatto e una vera esplosione di sapori in bocca. Ottima esperienza.

28/02/2025: I sapori di ogni piatto erano perfettamente bilanciati e gli ingredienti incredibilmente fresche. Lo consiglio vivamente.

22/10/2024: Let me start by saying that I have always frequented this restaurant since 1998 (therefore, I have seen multiple managers pass by). I would also like to point out that I am from Santa Margherita, therefore not a tourist unaware of the prices of Tigullio. At the time they even took me to visit the fishing boat, moored right in front. Honestly speaking, the quality has dropped dramatically, as has the competence and friendliness of the staff. From a restaurant of this kind, I don't expect fast-food style prices: I'm willing to pay whatever they want, but I demand that the service is corresponding. Don't come and tell someone from Santa that that mixed fried food is fresh!!!! You can say this to a Milanese, but not to me. I draw a veil of pity on the so-called "prawns". Lastly, it would be a good idea to hire a serious cleaning company. Unfortunately, as happened with the "Polpo Mario" in Sestri Levante, the new managers believe they can live off the income, thanks to the fame that the restaurant has acquired in the previous decades. It's not like that at all. Big shame. P.S. The owner's sarcasm and arrogance in responding to other negative comments (and it has nothing to do with our Ligurian attitude) speaks volumes about the lack of humility in recognizing one's own flaws.

11/08/2024: Abitando in Svizzera ogni volta che vengo in Liguria, il SanMarco da Max è una tappa fissa. Il posto è incantevole, il proprietario e lo staff sono premurosi, gentili e simpatici. Il cibo è superlativo con pesce fresco e piatti curati. Arrivederci!!!

15/01/2025: Great place, beautiful view, good location, quiet, close to services, friendly and helpful staff. Great experience that I repeat for years. Easy to reach by public transport and find parking. The terraces offer a unique view.

18/12/2024: Cambiato gestione con personale qualificato Arrivati tardi sabato sera, 22,30 ci hanno subito trivato in tavolo jonostante il locale pieno. Pizza ottima , prodotti di qualità e mozzarella buonissima. Focaccia di benvenuto che è il must del locale vusto i trascorsi da panettiere del titolare. Dolce sublime cono di crema e frutta fresca. Da rivedere la palizzata fritta,buona ma a mio avviso un po troppo unta. Al sabato fanno karaoke . Da ritornare. Gegio
