31/07/2026: We paid an additional €50.00 for two sun loungers and a parasol after 3:00 PM. The regular daily rate is €60.00 – for just a few hours in the afternoon, this minimal discount is, in my opinion, ridiculous and not at all customer-friendly. The room faced the main road. The windows are very poorly insulated, so the traffic noise was clearly audible all night. A restful sleep was virtually impossible. For these reasons, I unfortunately cannot recommend staying here. The price-performance ratio is particularly poor with regard to the beach service and the soundproofing of the rooms.

27/07/2026: Every year it's always a great emotion...! A sense of family, where education and respect are never lacking. Unfortunately, yesterday I witnessed an unpleasant situation...!!! Rude stranger who treated the bartender Tania... a pillar of the bathrooms with arrogance and condescension...! I believe that the Lido bathrooms are not for everyone... especially when respect and education are lacking. Busy days are never lacking but the arrogance of certain individuals never ceases to exist. Making negative reviews just for the sake of offending, for a poorly made aperitif... but drunk and taken back more than once...🤦‍♀️.. GIN TONIC... I wonder where the coherence of this individual lies. Present at the time of the incident...! I apologize but honestly it would be much healthier not to drink and pay more attention to education and respect. The bathroom closed???? And never mind, there are 6 bathrooms at the Lido...!!! Drinking less is probably healthy for your mind and body.

26/07/2026: I happened to try this place, and the experience was quite unpleasant. The outside tables were covered in pigeon droppings, the plates were dirty, and the seafood spaghetti was watered down. The only positive note was the very friendly service. I do not recommend this place.

19/04/2026: Upon arrival, we asked if we could choose a spot on the outdoor terrace. We were told that we could sit wherever we wanted. Afterwards, when paying the bill, it turned out that an extra €3 per person was charged for where we sat. This is not something that was told to us beforehand.

01/06/2026: We sat down at a table, a waiter came, and we asked for the drinks menu. The waiter was unfriendly, turned around, mumbled something, and brought the menu to our table. While the non-alcoholic drinks we ordered were brought, when we wanted to order a panini or a small aperitif, the waiter simply waved us off and walked away. Overall, we felt unwelcome and poorly served. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

I went with some friends, and I'd like to point out the presence of two kitchen staff who, as soon as we sat down, blew us kisses and stared at us insistently from the first floor, where the kitchen is located. Particularly unpleasant, stomach-churning.

16/08/2026: Unfortunately, the experience at L'Altro Eden didn't meet expectations. The menu is varied and offers several seafood options, but in practice, the quality of the dishes is average, nothing memorable. The most disappointing aspect was the service: despite the staff being diverse, the customer service was minimal. Some waiters seemed completely inexperienced and improvised (for example, they poured us the wine directly without letting us taste it first). The bread basket was also disappointing: even the focaccia was completely dry. Overall, the service needs improvement and the experience was disappointing. I don't recommend it and I wouldn't return. For €150 for two people, you can definitely dine elsewhere.

05/08/2026: It used to be a very good restaurant in a beautiful setting. I've been there twice this year for dinner: once with a table of 12, and sure, a bad night can happen, but the other time with three on a not-so-busy weekend. Both times, we were seated well past our reservation time, with no excuses for the delay. The food was decidedly mediocre, with a special mention for the raw fish, which seemed frozen. The price was decidedly high: €90 per person for four appetizers, a bottle of wine, and a dessert for three. What a shame!

25/07/2026: Want to experience Portofino without ending up in the usual, overly formal restaurants? Here, the experience is simple but incredibly positive. Where do you sit? The place is basic; even the tables and the table setting are super simple, but it makes sense. Especially since you eat outside right in the alley, in a truly charming and relaxed atmosphere. What to eat We treated ourselves well, with a couple of unexpected treats that really stand out: The trio of tartare dishes not included in the menu was amazing, excellent and fresh. The mussels au gratin? Outstanding, truly top-notch. And the spaghetti with clams also got top marks, made just right. The bill Well, we're in Portofino, so the prices are typical of Portofino. But at least here, the quality is there, so the money spent is worth it. In short: A simple, no-frills place where you can eat truly excellent seafood in a gorgeous little alley. Highly recommended if you happen to be in the area.

09/08/2026: A nice spot for sunbathing. A few loungers right on the water, and few people, so you can enjoy the sea and the calm. €40 for two loungers and an umbrella, a reasonable price. The restaurant area is very nice, perched on the rocks with a sea view. The food is a bit pricey in my opinion.

09/08/2026: We celebrated a wonderful birthday here thanks to the wonderful welcome we received and the quality of the food. The change of management has brought new value to this historic restaurant, which is absolutely worth a try. The service and the quality of the ingredients, combined with the attention to detail in preparation and presentation, are the strengths of this place. A very positive note, and one I recommend to everyone, is the double-cooked octopus with chickpea hummus and basil-flavored datterini tomatoes!! Well done guys, keep it up, we'll definitely be back! 😊
