02/06/2026: Lovely place, helpful staff, average food. It's a shame about the total lack of commercialism. There were 11 of us, and the waitress split the bill, charging 65.50 to 10 people and 66.50 to one, just to avoid taking a single euro off the total. Shameful.

03/05/2026: A decidedly negative experience. As soon as we were seated, we clearly indicated a severe nut allergy, and the waitress even noted it in her notepad. Despite this, we were served a dish containing pine nuts. A serious mistake, which could have had serious consequences. Even more unacceptable was being told afterwards that the allergy would only be disclosed after the dish arrived: simply untrue. The rest of the service was also unprofessional: when we politely asked to split the bill, we received rude responses and annoyed attitudes. Between superficiality on a sensitive topic like allergies and a lack of courtesy, the experience was anything but positive. We won't be returning.

14/05/2026: What was a rather pleasant lunch was spoiled after we interpreted the bill at home and realised we were charged €3pp cover charge and another random charge for 'drinks' we certainly never had. Regrettably a rather blatant tourist rip-off...

24/10/2025: We absolutely loved the food. Everything was delicious, super tasty, and there's also a small, fantastic selection for vegans – something different from the usual pasta with tomato sauce. Highly recommended!

10/04/2026: Always a pleasant place in the center, with large internal and external space, facing the Cathedral.. suitable for both groups and individuals, a wide choice of dishes, pizzas, cocktails etc. all with decidedly fair prices for the area, karaoke on Friday and Saturday evenings, recommended!

29/03/2026: Beautiful place. Ideal on sunny days for the extraordinary view of the cathedral and the square. We had good coffee. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

10/05/2026: The place is secluded and quiet, away from the tourists. They have excellent options for grilled vegetables and seafood pasta, as well as very good pizza. For dessert, they have tiramisu and spumone.

07/05/2026: I was so tired from visiting the five villages, and Riomaggiore was my last stop… arriving here completely recharged my batteries thanks to the kindness and service my family and I received. 11/05/2026: As soon as you enter, you will be greeted by a fragrance that will leave you breathless. The two gentlemen of the place are very good and friendly, and the quality of the food is everything you wouldn't expect when you came in here: exquisite. I had spaghetti allo scoglio and it was fantastic, a must try.

10/05/2026: Strange experience. Delicious fish, difficult place due to the smell. I don't know if I'd recommend it, but the fish was actually very good.

07/06/2026: We arrived at the restaurant for lunch half an hour early, and despite the fact that there were no other customers and the place was completely empty, they wouldn't let us sit. A decidedly unpromising start. Our order was taken by an elderly gentleman with a disagreeable and unfriendly attitude. We'd been warned that Ligurians might not be the friendliest people in the world, but working in the restaurant industry, one would expect at least a basic level of courtesy and hospitality. From there, an exhausting wait: over an hour and a half for the first course. We ordered a fried dish that the menu promised calamari, shrimp, and mixed seafood, but there wasn't even a hint of calamari on the plate. I've had much better fried dishes, and at much more reasonable prices. When the first courses arrived, we were completely disappointed. This cuisine pretends to be homemade, but in reality it's just overdone with too much spice. The fish was certainly fresh, but unfortunately it hadn't been cleaned properly, an unacceptable detail in a seafood restaurant. To finish, we each ordered a dessert, which was edible only because, fortunately, it wasn't homemade. The final report was disastrous, further exacerbated by the indigestion that followed in the afternoon. I strongly advise against this place: save your time and spend your money somewhere much better.

07/06/2026: The service and location are worthy of a trattoria and cooperative, which can also be interesting for a tourist to try, BUT the price of the dishes is decidedly that of a high-end restaurant with a certain level of service! So, go into a trattoria and you'll pay like a Michelin-starred restaurant!

25/03/2026: I've known this restaurant forever (I've had a home in Pietra Ligure, nearby, for over thirty years) and I've watched this family take over from the previous owners years ago, with a young management team, a strong will to work, and excellent cuisine. I remember two New Year's Eve dinners, with excellent dishes and prices commensurate with their quality... A restaurant you'll always want to return to, even for an excellent pizza, either on-site or for takeout. In the early years, the pizzas were huge, with top-quality ingredients and reasonable prices. The service, on busy days, has never been great, probably because the staff is insufficient, but I understand that operating costs are high and you have to make a virtue of necessity, with what you have available. Unfortunately, for a few years now, things haven't been the same as they were back then: prices have skyrocketed in direct proportion to the smaller portions, and the pizzas are unrecognizable from before... still high-quality ingredients, but in pediatric doses, and the pizzas are increasingly smaller. I ordered a Capricciosa pizza for takeout, costing €12, and a prosciutto and mushroom pizza for €11 (the 4 Seasons costs €10...I've never seen a pizza with fewer ingredients that costs more!!) I'm attaching a photo of the Capricciosa pizza, so you understand that what I'm saying is the truth: a crooked little pizza, with the same ingredients as the 4 Seasons, and incredibly, three pieces of marinated anchovies (3!!), which you can't even see in the photo and which clash terribly with the other ingredients (the Capricciosa has always been made with spicy salami and/or sausages!). The ham and mushrooms were a little better, but still with pediatric-sized portions of ingredients (I counted 10 pieces of mushrooms and probably no more than 20 grams of cooked ham). I'm truly sorry, because I have so many fond memories of their restaurant, which I also frequented with family members who are sadly no longer with us, but this treatment borders on mockery, probably because they were trying to steal tourists' money during these holidays... I assure you, this isn't the first time this has happened, and I've always turned a blind eye, but this time I've decided it's the last, because you can't spend €28 on two pizzas and a bottle of takeout beer (€5) and then fill up on a salami sandwich! Please, don't tell me I could have told you that in person. What was I supposed to tell you? That your takeout pizzas are small, ugly, and lacking in ingredients? That this isn't the first time this has happened? That they're ridiculously expensive considering how they are now? Furthermore, the Ligurian grumbling that always accompanies you gives the impression that, rather than customers, you see us as disruptive elements? I think that, as intelligent people as I consider you, you should reflect on yourselves. My two stars are for affection. I'll hold on to the good memories; thankfully, no one can take them away from me. Reply to the owner's response: I only now realized that my reply to the owner's response, which I wrote immediately, wasn't published, probably due to a procedural error on my part. It was long and detailed, but after all this time, I consider it pointless to repeat it. I'll just add, however, that I think always responding to negative reviews in a sour and piqued manner is neither constructive nor productive for the establishment. Negative reviews should be a reason to reflect on one's own work, which perhaps isn't always as flawless as you want it to appear, and not become a battleground where the strongest wins. There's no point in trying to convince you that you're right: the pizza photo speaks for itself. As for the rest, there's no point in talking.

20/05/2026: Terrible experience, and equally terrible food. Family-run restaurant, the owner is embarrassingly rude, and his daughter tries to make amends, but to no avail. Customers are completely ignored and at times treated poorly, condescendingly and rudely. Not even the food is a good thing, in fact: it's absolutely awful.

31/05/2026: Bad experience. There were 3 people at the table, and we ordered 2 appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, and 1 mixed fried fish. The two appetizers arrived: a mixed seafood dish floating in the water and a shrimp cocktail (just okay). Then the second course and the first course arrived, and instead of the mixed fried fish, they brought fish ravioli (which we hadn't ordered). So we immediately announced that they weren't ours and that we were waiting for the mixed fried fish. Half an hour passed, and we couldn't even smell the mixed fried fish, so we asked the waiter about it, and the answer was "it'll be right there." Another half an hour passed, and we called the waiter again, asking if they were actually preparing the mixed fried fish, and if the answer was no, to not prepare it. Shortly afterward, the waiter returned to tell us that they hadn't started making the mixed fried fish and that he had therefore cancelled our order. Too bad the mixed fried fish belonged to someone who had ordered ONLY that; he basically ate nothing. Total bill €100 (obviously not including the mixed fried fish)

16/03/2026: Excellent location, very well-known and famous, excellent seafood, lots of activity on Saturdays, excellent clientele. Definitely worth a visit.
