06/05/2026: We are spending the day exploring and randomly picked this place for lunch. We are glad we did.
26/04/2026: We were somewhat apprehensive after seeing the rating, but we had such a great time here we came back again. A lovely spot to watch the sunset and have a drink, the food was great and the staff were super friendly. Can accommodate gluten free as well. Should be rated much higher!

22/06/2025: Excellent pizza!!! Easy-to-digest, thin-crust pizza. The vegetable pizza with Scapece-style zucchini and mushroom-style eggplant is spectacular. We'll be back!

We come regularly, and each time it gets worse. Last time, we waited 35 minutes to order an aperitif: the drink arrived after 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the side dishes of chips/pizzas, etc., never arrived despite numerous reminders ("it's so crowded"); theoretically, everything should arrive at the same time.
The tables aren't cleaned... definitely the best!

16/05/2026: It is not special - I think the portions could be a better size - but if you want fish and chips on the sea front, it will hit the spot. Watch out for seagulls, however, they snatched some of mine from me!
15/05/2026: Seafood was not fresh and calamari was chewy as rubber. Do not recommend.

01/06/2026: This is a takeaway pizza, it speaks for itself, and it costs "only" 8 euros. The bizarre thing is: when you add an ingredient, there's a surcharge, but when you remove it, the price stays the same, because yes, that included pizza is a Margherita without mozzarella. But what's even more bizarre is how this place is still open.

30/05/2026: When we're on vacation in Camogli, we often come here for aperitivo. There's a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay where you can enjoy the sunset. The staff always welcomes you.
The excellent selection of wines by the glass or cocktails, accompanied by tempura and other delicacies. A highly recommended experience.
Every year, we come here to enjoy the terrace. Always pleasant for lunch or aperitivo.
25/05/2026: Went last night and although the reviews were average we had an excellent dinner of grilled calamari with a flavorful sauce for an antipasto and then for dinner the Sea Bream which was excellent and also had a very nice sauce of potatoes , tomatoes, olives, and capers.. The home made chocolate gelato with chocolate sauce was excellent as well. highly recommend although a bit expensive

30/04/2026: A unique place in Celle Ligure that combines the functions of a bathing facility, an elegant restaurant, and a lounge bar. It occupies a picturesque location directly on the seafront, on the Lungomare Crocetta. What makes Pappacianna unique is its location. The restaurant and bar are built on the characteristic pier and the famous rock (Lo scoglio Pappacianna), allowing guests to eat and drink almost directly above the waves. The view of the Bay of Celle Ligure is spectacular, especially at sunset.
26/04/2026: A truly remarkable and charming place.
We ate well, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
We'll definitely be back.
I recommend it to everyone.

11/04/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. We enjoyed appetizers and fish-based first courses, accompanied by an excellent wine recommended by the house. The food was excellent, with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great experience, we'll gladly return.

09/04/2026: After staying several nights, we found this place, and so glad we did. We ordered the spaghetti with clams, pesto lasagne, pesto gnocchi and four seasons pizza (Quattro stagioni) - these were all delicious and reasonably priced for Portofino. Service was friendly, prompt and they went out of their way to accommodate us to make a table of four. Highly recommend.
28/03/2026: What we got was quite expensive. €18 for a tiny portion of tasteless gnocchi.
And then they automatically added a €12 tip.
Absolutely outrageous, not recommended at all!!

no frills but genuine. Excellent cuisine. Perfect for those seeking an authentic experience.
12/04/2026: Old-fashioned trattoria... as soon as I entered I remembered being there as a kid.. (or about 45 years ago... 🤭🙄) and nothing seems to have changed. Kind, good and plentiful food (the spaghetti al nero with mussels was excellent). Not à la carte but with various choices between 1, 2 and dessert. Honest!

15/05/2026: The food was very modest. The mussels had a strange taste. Unfortunately, the other dishes were also nothing special. The waiter didn't know the food and confused it.

We ordered pizzas and meat dishes: nothing special, so it's difficult to give it more than 3 stars.
It's just another restaurant among many others on the Alassio seafront.

30/05/2026: Nice place, more or less treated like dirt, we waited an hour, without anyone telling us anything about the delay, not even apologizing, we waited and asked for explanations but nothing was told that everything was arriving, nothing, we got up and went to pay for the bottle we ordered and said that due to the long wait (it was 10:20 pm) we would have to leave... and we were literally attacked by the owner, saying that we shouldn't have taken a train and other disgusting phrases... I conclude that we too are people who work but if you don't know how to do your job it's better to change and do something else!! Shameful and not at all!!!
