14/02/2025: Questo posto è stupendo, stavamo camminando per strada per visitare il duomo e cercavamo un posto dove mangiare per la cena di san valentino, accolti calorosamente, cibo ottimo, buon vino, atmosfera davvero molto piacevole. Se mai dovessi tornare a Genova ritornerei sicuramente qui.

24/03/2025: The restaurant is OK, staff is very nice and friendly but the food, when it comes to pasta carbonara, it's pretty bad. The bacon is very low quality and it ruins the whole pasta taste, and too much sauce. This is my review of this place, Only the spaghetti should be improved more better.

Come a Casa
22/09/2024: Wir haben dieses Lokal zum Sonntagmittagessen aus dem tavole.doc Gastrobuch ausgewählt. Nachdem wir bereits einige der dort verzeichneten Restaurants ausprobiert haben, waren wir auf etwas Neues und Überraschendes gespannt. Von außen ist das Restaurant eher unscheinbar. Es gibt eine kleine Terrasse direkt an der Straße zur Seeseite, aber weil es sehr windig war, haben wir ohnehin innen Platz genommen. Wir waren lange Zeit die einzigen Gäste, und erst als wir unser Dessert bekamen, wurden zwei weitere Tische besetzt. Der Innenraum ist ein ansprechend restauriertes Rustico-Gewölbe. Auf einer Tafel an der Wand war mit Kreide das Motto angeschrieben, das sinngemäß lautete: "Wie ein Ei ohne Salz - es ist weder gut noch schlecht". Wir waren also auf das berühmte "Salz in der Suppe" gespannt.
Wir wählten das Degustationsmenü, das als Überraschungsmenü angekündigt wurde. Als "Gruß aus der Küche" gab es eine Scheibe bruschetta. Das ist ohne Zweifel etwas sehr einfaches, aber es kann trotzdem sehr lecker sein, wenn man aromatische Tomaten benutzt und diese mit entsprechenden Gewürzen mariniert. Das war leider nicht der Fall. Es war letztlich nur eine Scheibe Zwieback mit Tomatenstückchen. Simpel.
Als Antipasto wurde ein Polpo-Salat gereicht. Wir man es oft macht: in eine kleine Rundform waren vor allem Bohnen und etwas Kartoffeln und Polpo gepresst, und das Türmchen wurde auf Orangenscheiben serviert. Durchaus schmackhaft, aber gewöhnlich, wie man es auch in einfacheren Restaurants in dieser Qualität bekommt.
Als Primo gab es Risotto ai frutti di mare. Das Gericht hatte eine gute Konsistenz und der Sugo war stimmig.
Das secondo war ein Filet vom Seebarsch, gereicht auf vier Kartoffelscheiben und - wieder - Bohnen. Im Sinne der "Degustation" hätte man wenigstens ein anderes Gemüse wählen können.
Drei dolce standen zur Auswahl (Cheesecake, Brownie oder Tiramisu).
Alle Gänge kamen rasch nacheinander und wir sind selten so schnell mit einem Menü fertig gewesen, wie an diesem Sonntag. Für die beiden Menüs, eine preiswerte Flasche Pigato, aqua naturale aus dem Wasserhahn und zwei Caffé betrug die Rechnung 150 Euro.
Was uns nur zu einer mittleren Bewertung führt ist dieses: Das Come a Casa will in der oberen Liga mitspielen, aber erreicht das Niveau nicht. Man verlangt Preise der gehobenen Küche, liefert aber nur gewöhnliche Gerichte. Nehmen wir das Bruschetta aus, war das Essen in Ordnung, aber Raffinesse war leider bei keinem der einzelnen Gerichte zu erkennen. Und das darf man in einem .doc Restaurant erwarten. Wir fragten uns nachher, warum dieses Lokal im tavole.doc Führer empfohlen wird, denn es fällt gegenüber anderen in dieser Gruppe deutlich ab (soweit wir in den Provinzen Imperia und Savona unterwegs waren). So war es ein insgesamt eher langweiliges und enttäuschendes Sonntagessen.
Man will (so das Motto) das Salz auf dem Ei reichen, weil dieses ohne Salz weder gut noch schlecht schmeckt. Ironischerweise tappt man aber genau in diese Falle, denn die "Prise Salz" fehlte.
31/08/2024: I was for dinner and the welcome was pleasant, the staff is very kind and helpful, they also brought us a bruschetta as a welcome entrée.
I tried the seafood risotto and for dessert the spice-glazed figs with pistachio ice cream and I must say that I liked everything and the portions were just right.
The internal location is beautiful and characteristic of the place.

22/02/2025: If you want to eat from Campania, you have to go to a place run by authentic Neapolitans. Perfect fried foods, tasty and light. The mixed pasta, potatoes and provolone are tops. Congratulations also for the advice on the wine to match.
03/02/2025: Let me start by saying that I cannot comment on the pizza as it was not served at lunch. As far as the cuisine is concerned, the flavors overall were good, raw materials (for my orders) from the supermarket. Overall in my opinion, considering the value for money, too expensive. I can't say I had a good time but not a bad one either, certainly in the future if I find myself in the area I will make other choices.

02/03/2025: We come a couple of times a year, usually at the beginning and end of the year. The quality of the food is always excellent as is the service. Perhaps the menu is a little sparse, something new would be needed. But everything is always excellent and the staff very efficient and polite.
15/01/2025: It is a restaurant that I have known for 40 years and with which I have an emotional relationship. We had lunch two Sundays ago and as usual we had a good time. My wife also recognized the owner's obviously grown up son, which is nice to see happen.
Prices have obviously increased but considering the quality and quantity there are more expensive places.

Cameriere mi dice che non lo sa e va a chiedere ( va be’ anche se in un posto di questo livello con questi prezzi mi aspetto altro ) iniziò a mangiare al secondo raviolo mi ritrovo un pezzo di plastica in bocca lo faccio presente al cameriere ma invece che portarmi via il piatto è quantomeno propormi di rifarmelo mio dice di tenerlo da parte e dopo avermi fatto aspettare 10 minuti torna con un piatto vuoto e mi chiede di appoggiare lì il pezzo poi lo porta in cucina e al ritorno mi dice che in cucina non c era nulla con quella forma ma che potevo continuare a mangiare il resto ( che ormai era congelato oltretutto ) non mi è stato proposto ne di ordinare altro ne di riavere il piatto nuovo ! niente quindi mi alzo vado a pagare e mi dicono “ il raviolo non lo segnamo “ come se fosse un favore !! Assurdo paghiamo 50 euro x un calice di vino vermentino un piatto di trofei al pesto e vongole (prese dal mio compagno ) e un acqua frizzante per di più non ci fanno lo scontrino ( dopo avermi fatto pagare 50 euro x un calice,un acqua e un primo ) quindi torno indietro e lo chiedo mi stampa una ricevuta a 50 euro e gli chiedo se può spiegarmi il dettaglio il signore in giacca rossa mi dice che non è tenuto a segnarlo sulla ricevuta il prezzo di ogni cosa !!
Se si vogliono tenere prezzi alti bisognerebbe avere un servizio e un atteggiamento ben diverso! Un inconveniente puo capitare e non succede nulla pero e’ il comportamento che fa la differenza

21/10/2024: Encontramos este ristorante en un callejón de Monterosso y nos encantó. El servicio fue excelente y el propietario nos hizo sentir tan bienvenidos explicando cada plato.
Pedí los raviolis rellenos de lubina que eran excelentes en una salsa cítrica ligera con trozos de calamares y camarones. Mi marido pidió los espaguetis con sardinas frescas y pez espada con tomates y ajo.
Nos encantó nuestra cena y recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante! Está dirigido por un marido y una mujer. Auténtica comida italiana fresca casera que no debes perderte.
21/10/2024: We found this ristorante in an alley in Monterosso and loved it. The service was excellent and the owner made us feel so welcomed explaining each dish.
I ordered the seabass stuffed ravioli’s that were excellent in a light sauce with bits of calamari and shrimp. My husband ordered the spaghetti with fresh sardines with tomatoes and garlic.
We loved our dinner and highly recommend this restaurant! Authentic, homemade fresh Italian food you shouldn’t miss.

15/08/2024: I ate a cooked ham and champignon mushroom pizza: good dough but with little toppings.
Digestible and well cooked pizza.
The downside was the long wait but the owner had a big problem because two employees stood him up.
I understood his justification by accepting his apology. I will come back for the restaurant

13/04/2025: Let me start by saying that we have already decided to return..... a place where the quality, the quantity of food, the attention to the customer is really important..... the whole thing would need to be reviewed. Restaurant run by a family. Father, mother, daughter.. Pay attention to the quantity of food, to give you an idea... all the dishes are more than generous, two portions can be eaten by four... plenty... everything is of good quality!!! Given the quantities, the prices are really affordable.
09/04/2025: Not a bit old place from the outside it seems almost closed due to the very soft lights. There were 5 of us, we ate very well, choosing from the seafood menu, but there is also a land menu, excellent food and gigantic quantities, let's say that compared to other restaurants each portion is for 3/4 people, we exchanged something, If you have a weak stomach, order only one thing for 2, we had 2 courses each, octopus with potatoes, spaghetti with seafood, marinated anchovies, mussels marinara, fried fish for 5, plus chips 2 half liter jugs of white, one another quart of white, a bottle of water, a coca cola, and a coffee for 140 euros. We had an extremely hard time eating everything. Run by friendly and nice people. If you look at the environment, walls, furniture, etc. don't come, but dishes, cutlery, tables and kitchen, in short the things that matter are really clean.
