13/04/2026: The hotel is located at the end of the alley, in a very quiet location on the street parallel to the seafront. Excellent restaurants are nearby, just steps away, for dinner. A stroll down the street takes you to the town center, full of top-notch shops and culinary specialties. Modern superior room with a large balcony, a very comfortable bed, a bathroom with a large shower, and a beautiful marble wall for storing toiletries. Breakfast features excellent bread and croissants, fruit is available, and eggs and bacon are available upon request. They have a breakfast bar, and you can ask at reception if you need anything in the evening. Friendly and helpful staff. The building is not new, but it's comfortable.

You can also enjoy live music and karaoke. Questo bar has various tables internally and also all'aperto with a view of the cathedral. Propone piatti tipici della cucina ligure come focaccia al formaggio, farinata, trofie al pesto e pansoti in salsa di noci ed inoltre offre pizze, focacce, panini e taglieri di salumi e formaggi (available also in the options without glutine). Live music and karaoke are featured every Friday and Saturday evening. The establishment offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with the latter providing a view of the Cathedral. The menu highlights traditional Ligurian dishes such as cheese-filled focaccia, *farinata*, *trofie* with pesto, and *pansoti* with walnut sauce; they also serve pizzas, focaccias, sandwiches, and cold cut and cheese platters (with gluten-free options available). 10/04/2026: Always a pleasant place in the center, with large internal and external space, facing the Cathedral.. suitable for both groups and individuals, a wide choice of dishes, pizzas, cocktails etc. all with decidedly fair prices for the area, karaoke on Friday and Saturday evenings, recommended!

12/07/2026: Embarrassing... They brought the food first and then the drinks. I asked for bread three times, but it never arrived. So I got up from the table to ask the waiter, and he said, "We're looking for some." It would have been better if he hadn't given it to me, because it was as hard as a rock. Guys, BUT THE COOK WHO KEPT COMING OUT AND SMOKING WITH OVEN GLOVES ON????? DISGUSTED I have more to add, but I'd rather not say anything else...

His choice to offer a menu that can change based on the catch of the day is highly appreciated, a feature that conveys great attention to the ingredients and their seasonality. 🍽️ Dishes and Portions Despite being a bistro, the portions are decidedly generous and satisfying. The dishes are also meticulously presented, with an elegant presentation that highlights the fish without being overly elaborate. 👩‍💼 Hospitality and Customer Service A special mention goes to the owner, always very present, attentive, and helpful. It's clear how much she cares about her guests' experience: before payment, she personally checks in to see how the dinner went and gathers opinions and impressions. This attention is truly appreciated and demonstrates great care in managing the restaurant. 🤵 Service The service was always attentive and punctual, but never intrusive. The staff manages to look after the table well, maintaining the right balance between attentiveness and discretion, thus giving guests plenty of time and tranquility to enjoy their dinner. 🏡 Restaurant and tavern The restaurant also has a tavern, but we haven't tried it. The experience in the restaurant was so positive that, at least for now, we've always chosen that.

16/08/2026: Very good Northern Italian food and a place that feels much less touristy than the restaurants in the center of Santa Margherita Ligure. It is a little outside town, but only about 10 minutes from the center. The restaurant was full when we visited, and the food was really tasty, with a good selection of regional dishes. Service was a little slow, but perfectly fine. The atmosphere is relaxed and especially pleasant outside on the terrace. The toilets were also clean. For us it was conveniently on the way back to the parking area, but I would come here even without that reason.

04/08/2026: The restaurant is a bit out of town, the service leaves much to be desired despite the friendly waitresses, and the food... nothing special. The fried calamari was very salty, and the pesto pasta wasn't the best. I'm sorry, but I'd say it wasn't satisfying. They're also clever in not giving out a receipt.

22/08/2026: At the end of the bay of Lerci on the border with San Terenzio yes tomorrow the castle overlooking the sea you can take a long walk that connects the two locations the food is good and the staff is very kind and helpful

22/08/2026: The strong point is the seaside location and the tasty food, but the interior is neglected and doesn't make a good impression. The prices are disproportionate to the overall rating and when compared to other restaurants in Lerici, where food quality, location, and service go hand in hand.

04/08/2026: As this is one of the many restaurants in this very touristic part of Sestri, we chose it because of the settings looking a bit different and kind of 'authentic'. While the dishes are standard with nothing distinctive or tasty, the true disappointement came with the wine and the service. We had ordered from the menu glasses of Vermentino (which is a wine we're very familiar with) and were served glasses of an obviously different one. When asking the waitress, she said it was her favourite Vermentino and proposed to bring the bottle - which we accepted - and it appeared to be a local wine with a mix of grapes. Not a big deal if she had recognized the difference, but her denying attitude didn't give us a good feeling. Lesson learnt: this is a tourist area, don't expect personal attention :)

25/07/2026: We had a lovely dinner at Verve. The tuna tartare and Ravioli were delicious. There were also lovely wines from Liguria. Personal and warm service.

It allowed us to discover the neighboring establishment, "Isla Bonita," where the staff is incredibly kind, the atmosphere perfect, and the food delicious! 15/08/2026: We dined at this restaurant on the eve of Ferragosto (August 15th) and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is casual and homey, with a terrace overlooking the beach, and dimmable lights and lamps for ambiance. My daughters and my partner enjoyed a delicious fritto misto, while I, a vegetarian, opted for spaghetti with tomato sauce. We finished with three sorbets of various flavors and a Nutella cannoli. The owner is a delightful, sociable, and interesting person, and the service was quick and courteous.

06/06/2026: I absolutely loved my time at Hotel Celeste! The amazing family who runs it were incredibly kind and welcoming. The staff is fabulous and surpassed all my expectations. The room I stayed in was immaculate, comfortable and quiet- I really couldn’t ask for more. They let my friends and I play happy hour cards and dominos in the outside seating area (where I witnessed a beautiful birthday party that seemed dreamy).The beach staff consistently welcomed me every morning with the best positive energy and provided me the perfect beach bed right next to the water to relax and take in the beautiful view. The bartenders and wait staff were incredibly kind and with a brilliant Sommelier on staff I was able to have a truly breathtaking selection of wines. A huge thank you to everyone who made my trip perfect! ❤️ Mercedes

04/05/2026: I agree that this hotel is quite nice for a 3-star hotel. The staff is wonderful. The room was great. The sea view is outstanding. The location was, for us, perfect—right on the beach, but close walk to the old town, train station, grocery. The price was great. Street parking was manageable and free. I would absolutely recommend.
