08/02/2026: Everything was good except the meat! As a lover of good meat, I wanted to try this place with very high expectations, but even though I ordered the most expensive dish on the menu, I found the flavors to be truly unpleasant: the meat had definitely been over-smoked and had been cooked from the wrong wood, and two out of four cuts also had an unpleasant aftertaste. It's a shame because the place is very pleasant, the service attentive, and both the appetizer and dessert were very good.

19/07/2025: Ci siamo fermate a pranzo, tornate dal mare, abbiamo mangiato davvero bene (i primi poi top). Il servizio è stato cortese, educato e gentile. C’era rimasto impresso perché, qualche anno prima, avevamo cenato da loro, quindi abbiamo pensato di fermarci a pranzo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

11/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo caratteristico ristorante del porto incastonato nel tufo di Ventotene. Ad accoglierci un cameriere davvero gentilissimo, attento e carino per tutta la cena. Io ho preso una tartare di tonno davvero deliziosa, tonno ottimo si scioglieva in bocca. Anche gli altri antipasti (impepata) molto buoni. Abbiamo preso in 3 persone 3 primi diversi da pessimi clienti ma abbiamo provato 3 piatti davvero ottimi. Il mio, spaghetti con gambero crudo al profumo di limone, era davvero eccezionale, fresco, saporito, ottimamente legato. Pasta con le vongole non presente nel menù ma gentilmente preparata comunque per mio figlio era decisamente la migliore provata sull'isola. L' altro primo paccheri con totano delizioso come il resto. Prezzi in linea con l' isola ma adeguati a quello che abbiamo mangiato. Torneremo sicuramente

08/03/2026: Beautiful restaurant right on the seafront, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations are required on weekends. Very high prices, quality food. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff.

06/03/2026: Talk about a cool place! Despite the high level of image and quality, the service is always friendly, kind, and attentive. Well done 👏🏻 P.S. I only found the restaurant menu a little salty, but then again, quality and location come at a price.

08/12/2025: A truly lovely restaurant located directly on the Lavagna harbor, a charming setting that makes the experience even more enjoyable. I enjoyed the varied and delicious appetizers, a real surprise, with attention to detail and rich in unique flavors. The owners are two wonderful people, welcoming and helpful, and this helped me feel immediately at ease. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for seafood dishes prepared with care and creativity. A place I'll definitely return to!

31/10/2025: Absolutely wonderful place! We’d like to thank the team for their warm hospitality and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The seafood was incredibly fresh, every dish was delicious, and the service was both friendly and fast. The restaurant is just a minute away from the apartment we were staying in — our only regret is finding this gem on the very last evening of our holiday! Highly recommended!

22/10/2025: Excellent dishes. Whether seafood, pizza, or the incredible spaghetti carbonara...simply fantastic! I'd love the recipe for the thick spaghetti. Very friendly service. We still managed to get a table despite the extremely busy crowd. Viva Liguria, viva Lavagna!!

08/10/2025: The pizza was very good. Very thin, crispy crust. The other dishes also looked delicious. Right on the beach. It's part of the campsite.

30/09/2025: This is our third time here. The staff was super friendly. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. We felt at home.

04/01/2026: A huge disappointment: heavy food, overly greasy dishes, and an incompetent chef. We ordered grilled sea bream, which the owner presented as a marvel, but it was anything but grilled. Although the service was courteous, the experience is not one to repeat.

21/03/2026: Excellent value for money! The hotel is in a perfect location. The room is simple, clean, and comfortable. It's a well-run, family-owned business, and the staff is incredibly friendly and dedicated. The highlight, however, is the delicious breakfast buffet. Every morning there are fresh pastries from the local bakery, as well as meat and dairy products from the region. And breakfast is included! Absolutely fantastic! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

20/03/2026: Waking up at 8:30 am by the cleaning staff who have absolutely no respect, shouting, and by the loud noise in the hallways, with no regard for the sleeping guests, knowing that the soundproofing is nonexistent—I've never seen anything like it. If you want to sleep, even until 9 am, I strongly advise against this hotel 😡

15/02/2026: It was a gorgeous sunny day, which we enjoyed on the panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. We ate beautifully prepared seafood dishes and sipped glasses of excellent Vermentino... a perfect Sunday lunch!

14/02/2026: Restaurant located in a splendid location, rustic but well-kept and elegant atmosphere, good but not excellent food, friendly staff but very slow service.

01/01/2026: If you want to please both your eyes and your palate... This is the place for you, just as Altamarea is for us, where we'll return every time we return to Imperia. Good food, fast and courteous staff, and an undeniable view of the sea! Kudos to everyone for their customer service!! I only recommend serving a little more of the first courses.... I hope this is constructive criticism 😉

26/11/2025: A truly excellent seaside restaurant. I recommend it for the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. All the dishes are excellent, as I've been there several times and it's a must-visit in Porto Maurizio.

10/11/2025: Superb restaurant by the sea. We had lobster pasta, which was excellent! And very good desserts too: apple tart and chocolate fondant. The prices for starters and main courses are rather high, but the portions are very generous and of good quality! The service was very pleasant; we had a wonderful time.

27/12/2025: Excellent dining experience. The servers were attentive and always smiling! The view must be magnificent at sunset or during the day, with the sea right in front of the bay windows.

16/09/2025: Amazing restaurant in a beautiful location, with super friendly staff and an innovative kitchen. The view is perfect which is why I don’t understand why it strictly (!) only opens at 19:30 — any decent entrepreneur would sell an aperitif from 6pm onwards on the beautiful balcony outside for people to enjoy the sunset (which otherwise will have happened already when you start your meal). There were tiny issues with the service (for instance they brought a beef butter to a completely vegetarian table, only to take it away and not replacing it with something vegetarian instead, and a couple next to us was waiting for having their wine with their food) but all in all the service was impeccable otherwise and I would have loved to give a tip unless these sneaky corporate people in the finance department wouldn’t have already built that tip into my bill, at which time and out of principle I crossed it out! I would have voluntarily given more than the „suggested tip“ if you hadn’t kinda forced my hands on it. I guess few people realize it so mathematically they end up with more, but not in style! Apropos style: the worst part of this restaurant is the music. The manager swore he couldn’t change the music or turn it down. Guys. We are in the 21st century. Forcing the same tasteless and unnecessary loud music on all people who have a very different and highly individualized dining experiences is just unprofessional and quite frankly costs you a star. If the CEO of the hotel can’t fix that, I‘m sorry for him (or her) as this is a matter of willingness only, everything else is an excuse.
