28/07/2025: Очень разочарованы. Самый невкусный обед в Италии, за который мы заплатили 130 евро (двое взрослых и ребенок). Ребёнок чуть не подавился костями рыбы в рекомендованном для детей блюде fish and chips. Ужасное обслуживание. Грязный санузел. Отсутствие интернета. Не понимаю, как такие заведения могут быть рекомендованы на TripAdvisor

28/07/2025: Fantastica location e piatti che ti fanno vivere un' esperienza di mare a 360°!!! Che dire lo consiglio a chi vuole stare bene e assaporare piatti che solo l'arte di Filippo(chef) sa' esaltare ed elaborare per farti sentire il mare al palato.Ottima la selezione dei vini e dei dolci e un plauso al personale di sala sempre attento e gentile. Bravi ragazzi ci si vede presto e consiglio di provare x credere se passare da Varigotti!!

31/05/2025: Materia prima trattata con cura e rispetto La mia compagna incinta ha avuto diverse opzioni adatte alle circostanza Vero che il menù è un optional .. ma quando hai a che fare con una persona così preparata e sul pezzo come Marco, il menù ti passa la voglia di leggerlo .. a me personalmente ha fatto divertire ed è piaciuto tutto dalla A alla Z , dal crudo al fritto ai primi tutto buonissimo Dulci sin fundo i dolci fatti da sua moglie in cucina sono da brividi Consigliatissimo !

19/09/2025: Excellent restaurant recommended by our Agriturismo. We had a very good evening. I asked to change tables to be quiet with our dog. There was no problem. I highly recommend it.

10/09/2025: We were trying to find some sunshine and ended up in Porto Venere. This restaurant caught our eye. After taking a seat, we opened the menu. The selection was enormous, and everything looked delicious. We opted for a light lunch. We chose the mussels and the seared tuna. Honestly, we've never had such delicious tuna. We enjoyed it with a glass of wine. We would definitely go back for this!

27/07/2025: We had grouper ravioli, taglioni, and scampi parcels—never tasted such delicious dishes. Also perfect for celiacs, AIC certified. The staff was incredibly kind!

14/09/2025: A great place we discovered during our trip. The staff is very friendly, and the spaghetti carbonara is typical and really delicious. A charming place that perfectly cooks great Italian classics. We don't regret our choice.

12/09/2025: We visited this restaurant without a reservation and were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. We sat by the street, but it wasn’t noisy at all … it actually made for a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Pasta al Salmone, which was very tasty. The portion size was generous…I couldn’t quite finish it, but I also wasn’t very hungry. If I had been, it would have been the perfect amount to really satisfy me. My boyfriend had the Tonno con Rucola e Pomodori. He found it good and well-prepared, though nothing particularly special or exciting. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even nicer. Overall, we had a good dinner here … not exceptional, but solid and enjoyable.

01/03/2025: Jour d'hiver ensoleillé mais venteux qui a obligé de déjeuner en salle, dans ce vieux moulin sympathiquement décoré. Le chef très accueillant et passionné nous a régalés à la fois de ses plats et des commentaires sur l'établissement. Tout était de belle qualité et agréablement présenté. Seule fausse note: un blanc Vermentino (Rolle en France) assez nul alors que ce n'aurait pas dû être le cas. Il faudra poursuivre la connaissance de cet établissement.

26/08/2025: This place is my favorite place in Italy. Gaetano is a master chef and I cannot wait to go back and enjoy his delicious food again. Bravo Gaetano!!

24/08/2025: I went to this restaurant for dinner on August 15th. Five of us ordered the mixed grilled fish. Everything was tasteless, especially the two tuna steaks, which didn't taste like tuna but, in fact, burned everyone's palate. We asked the waitress about it, and she said there was only oregano seasoning on the fish and that it was fresh. But the taste was anything but fresh. We went home with stomach cramps and all five of us spent the night in the bathroom. The next day we went back to tell them, and all they could say was "sorry" and again that the fish was fresh. Whether it wasn't fresh or poorly preserved, or both, I don't know! But in any case, we felt sick after eating it. Their professionalism and integrity were zero!

01/09/2025: The sea view from the balcony was excellent. The cleanliness of the room, however, left much to be desired (when I arrived, I found a lubricating gel under the bed and a razor blade cap in the shower). The owner is kind and helpful. It's a real shame about the lack of cleanliness; otherwise, the property would have been highly recommended. Competitive price.

04/07/2025: Purtroppo esperienza pessima. Risotto scotto e totalmente insapore. Dall'aspetto bello da vedere . Peccato perché era stato consigliato come un ristorante dal risotto fantastico. Da non ripetere.

13/09/2025: The best dinner during short stay in Arenzano. Very swift staff, quite fast service, super taste and presentation. Maybe not as cheap but deserving 5 stars.

12/09/2025: We came to Arenzano this summer because we have a house here... Da Gino restaurant is always a sure thing. Tiziana and Davide never make you miss home; the food is a stunning combination of quality ingredients and meticulous plating. The fish is incredibly fresh and there's always something new on the menu... and the desserts are amazing. Excellent value for money, too. Simona

14/09/2025: The hotel is in a beautiful location, but unfortunately our experience wasn't a positive one. The photos online don't reflect reality: they show an outside restaurant, while with the guesthouse, meals are served in a basement. The menu is limited and monotonous. Our room had a faulty toilet that kept making noise; despite reporting it and attempting to have it repaired, the problem was never resolved. Finally, the icing on the cake: they even charged us for a beach towel. Overall, we didn't enjoy our stay and wouldn't return. Parking is excessive at €20.

25/08/2025: Dining at this restaurant was truly a pleasant surprise. The service was perfect: the owner was extremely kind and professional. The traditional Genoese dishes were well-prepared. Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: A rather dated restaurant that needs modernizing, as it's truly unwelcoming: we went on August 19th for lunch, and all the outdoor tables were piled up as if the place were closed, and there were still Christmas baubles on the shelves in the dining room. Even the owner seems fed up with this job: you can tell by the way he runs the business. The menus are old, dirty, and worn; the bar counter and the cash register at the entrance are a complete mess, even when I was there and the only customer. The water served at the table is bottled glass, filled by the restaurant, but from the taste, you'd think the filters hadn't been replaced in years. The food somewhat salvages the overall negative rating, serving decent dishes, though clearly 1980s-inspired. We ordered two appetizers recommended by the host: the dish of the day, octopus carpaccio on a bed of potatoes, and the "mosciame di tonno," a carpaccio of tuna steak preserved in salt, the old Ligurian way. The dishes were good, even if they were arranged in the same way, with the unusual final sprinkling of parsley. Then we ordered two first courses, which didn't convince us at all: spaghetti with clams and bottarga, which had a dark gray sauce on the bottom, with a rather bland flavor; and linguine with swordfish and arugula, where, however, the arugula was completely forgotten, with the usual gray sauce on the bottom of the plate. But what disappointed me most was discovering that the house white wine was "Marche" and not "Ligurian," truly embarrassing.

07/09/2025: Nothing to complain about the food; it was all quite good. However, the staff was rude and even untrained (from the waitresses to the owner). During the bill, the owner insisted on asking if we had ordered other dishes, probably trying to inflate the total. The atmosphere was decidedly dated, cheap, ignorant, and unwelcoming. The fish prices were average, but the place definitely needs rethinking. The paper napkins were unsightly; for the same price, you could get better service.

31/08/2025: Good pizza, but the place needs updating! The place and decor are very dated and don't make you want to return. The large outdoor veranda is nice, even though the view is of the road and the tennis courts...

28/09/2025: Friendly restaurant in a cozy atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of Portofino's main square. We were very well received despite the menu support which could do with a rework, we choose from a plastic card and a little too much chocolate powder on the tiramisu! The experience is nevertheless recommended
