10/03/2025: Top quality material (We tasted red prawn and chicory tartare...cannelloni with prawns, datterino tomatoes and buffalo ricotta...and linguine with garlic, oil, chilli pepper, red prawn and toasted hazelnuts...roasted octopus on escarole, sultanas and pine nuts among the best!) Courteous and attentive staff I will be back to try other dishes!

08/03/2025: Conto stellare per uscire con la fame. Antipasti caldi come li chiamano loro sono 4 miseri assaggi e nemmeno tanto buoni, i crudi idem, in più la pezzatura degli scampi e dei gamberi è veramente ridicola, sono taglia baby, peccato che poi il conto invece te lo ricordi eccome, soprattutto quando non vedi l'ora di tornare a casa per mangiare...andate a mangiarvi una pizza piuttosto. Voto zero

02/03/2025: After an intense morning of work, we stopped at this restaurant for a refreshing lunch before returning to Milan. Truly another story! Food, friendliness and courtesy of the staff, overlooking the sea which allows the gaze to get lost beyond the horizon! To be returned at the first opportunity.

19/03/2025: Excellent restaurant for food and staff, I'll tell you an anecdote from today, San Giuseppe 2025, lunch, as a guest of my brother, we were greeted by a welcome appetizer, soute' of mussels and clams, followed by spaghetti with squid and bottarga, really very good, after coffee they brought us two small cream puffs of San Giuseppe to taste, I couldn't resist the temptation, my brother didn't eat it... I asked for a bag to bring it to my wife to taste... the waiter, a young and nice boy, with an excuse took the cream puff back to the kitchen, returning shortly after with the bag... which I thanked and took away.... tonight at dinner... in the bag I found two cream puffs... a very nice and kind gesture... I wanted to thank him publicly because I really appreciated this small form of kindness from a young man

13/03/2025: We kwamen toevallig op het terras van dit restaurant terecht toen we Anzio verkenden. We kregen een mooi plekje op het terras waarbij we uitkeken over het water en de vissersboten. De kaart was niet heel uitgebreid maar er stonden wel uiteenlopende gerechten op, van traditioneel Italiaans tot Japans (ik had tonijn tataki). De borden waren prachtig opgemaakt en het eten was heerlijk. De bediening was correct. Dit is zeker niet het goedkoopste restaurant aan de haven, maar wat ons betreft wel het beste.

17/03/2025: Bad experience! A friend of mine organized her birthday. In summary, the food is not up to par. The roasted aubergines were inedible due to the amount of chilli. The bruschetta is fine there, to make a mistake you really have to put in the effort but they succeeded!!! Then the veal with tuna sauce. Let's forget about it. As for the service, I draw a veil of compassion over the head waiter and the waitress. Zero smiles. Ditto amiability and zero availability. In short, avoid it!!!

16/02/2025: We celebrated my son's Confirmation yesterday and I must say everything was really excellent from the environment to the menu and the extremely kind and helpful staff. A lot of attention also for intolerant and allergic people, my daughter has celiac disease and was able to eat everything. We had a really good time and will be back soon, as we will also celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday there.

04/04/2025: All the staff, starting from the owner, make you feel at home, they are polite, friendly and if you have any doubts about the dishes they can give you a very precise description! For intolerances it's the best! I'm lactose intolerant and I'm on the safe side with them, starting from the pizzas to the suppli! Not to mention the meat... I recommend you absolutely try it!

15/03/2025: Cosa è migliorabile? Locale pieno e rumoroso, causa educazione dei clienti ma anche troppi tavoli per riempire la sala. Due amici a cena di venerdì sera, abbiamo preso: soute' di cozze, arriva un tegamino pieno di mitili rinseccoliti. gommosi e tiepidi, probabile siano state cotte in anticipo e lasciate al calduccio in attesa dei clienti, mangiate per appetito e non perché buone. Poi baccalà mantecato, buono, calamarata al sugo di crostacei, buona, pasta acqua e farina alle vongole, buona. Infine cheese cake al cioccolato, buono. Vino Chardonnay buono e non caro. Attese normali per un locale pieno, conto moderato con offerta The Fork 50%. Titolare scortese, ci ha rifiutato di pagare il conto, per il quale ha emesso regolare e unico scontrino, in due parti uguali ciascuno con il proprio bancomat, cosa che ormai si fa dappertutto tant'è che alcuni scontrini escono già con la quota di ogni commensale. A conto pagato come ha voluto lui si è sarcasticamente scusato, per salvare le apparenze, ma per noi è sufficente così.

09/03/2025: The dishes are well prepared and excellent........the creamed cod, the salmon in all its variations and the tuna ravioli that I had were very good.......what can I say....recommended.

09/12/2024: Ogni volta che torniamo al Grottino è sempre una bellissima esperienza culinaria, ma non solo… il servizio è impeccabile, il personale gentilissimo e preparato, la location curata nel minimo dettaglio… tutto squisito, dal primo, alla frittura, al dolce… che dire, per mangiare pesce buonissimo e avere un’esperienza a 360 gradi non possiamo che consigliarlo a tutti!
