31/05/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch and were really pleased. From the appetizers to the first courses, to the second courses, every dish was delicious, plentiful, prepared with top-quality ingredients and boasting all the authentic flavor of the sea. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. 🤗 Furthermore, the small garden where the tables are set is truly lovely, in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended! I hope to return.

18/05/2026: Lunch with a fixed-price menu, but portions could be adjusted upwards. Good food, friendly service, long wait for food despite the "not" time-consuming and laborious preparation. Bathroom with a non-functioning drain. Value: €15.

12/05/2026: I wanted to leave a review because we chose this beautiful location for my partner and I to celebrate our wedding. He introduced me to this beautiful place, being Calabrian and unfamiliar with the Amalfi Coast. I was captivated by the location and the view from this magnificent venue. Mr. Mariano and the entire staff at the Voce del Mare hotel were incredibly kind and, above all, professional from the very beginning. Everything was perfect. My compliments also go to the cuisine and all the delicious dishes chosen especially for us. I would choose this place a thousand times over and highly recommend it! 29/05/2026: We've been for dinner twice in a row, sampling the entire menu—fish, meat, and pizza—and it's all excellent. There were 12 of us, motorcycle friends, staying at the hotel of the same name (under the same ownership). The wine list is interesting, with fair markups. Anyone can create excellent dining, but the art of hospitality isn't for everyone. Angelo, the chef and owner, is a friendly, professional, and generous person. We'll definitely return.

10/05/2026: The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. Some appetizers arrived after the main course, and the dishes were served unevenly, so one person was still eating when everyone else had finished. On the positive side, the artistic presentation of the plates was a highlight, showcasing the chef's creativity. The portions were small but tasty. However, they weren't always worth the price. The timing of the dishes, in particular, needs improvement. It's unacceptable that a simple salad took longer than a freshly prepared risotto.

08/03/2026: I had a grilled fish (a plaice?). There were still a lot of bones in the fish. And the price was far too high: 30 euros. That's without the side dishes that are usually charged extra in Italy. The dining room, under a kind of covered terrace, was clean but simple, so the ambiance doesn't justify the high price.

01/06/2026: Drawn by a beautiful location, we arrived full of expectations, which were immediately dashed upon reading the menu. The grilled cuttlefish we ordered was lost on the large serving platter, along with a salad leaf from a bygone era. Hunger got the better of us, even though the cuttlefish was extremely overcooked, sometimes even burnt. I mentioned this when asked, but the owner didn't apologize verbally, nor did she offer a rather hefty bill for the amount we'd consumed. A disappointment; we won't be returning.

16/03/2026: Hotel insomnia in the true sense of the word, the mattress was so hard that I didn't sleep a wink.

11/12/2025: The hotel is located in a fairly remote area from the city center, yet the sea is nearby, visible from the panoramic views. Resembling a gigantic, low-rise farmhouse, renovated both inside and out, it boasts vast surrounding spaces that include a huge parking area, a beautiful swimming pool with solarium, a large perimeter patio with a large gazebo providing shade for tables and chairs, and just 23-26 guest rooms inside, plus a lobby with a small restaurant attached, kitchens, ground-floor bathrooms, and access to a basement level that leads to another restaurant adjacent to a disco/dance hall. The rooms are very intimate and spacious, all with windows, and airy in size, including the equally large and welcoming bathrooms (with sinks, bidets, and showers, but very few amenities: there are no towel hangers, for example, which are forced onto the vertical radiators), compared to other service areas in three-star hotels like this one! During this pre-Christmas period, the hotel is beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations and lights, creating a festive atmosphere for the upcoming holidays. Mrs. Marcella, I believe the young owner or manager of the property, is very dynamic and "quick" in providing information and clarifications on internal regulations, as well as instructions and practical assistance to the staff: cooks, chefs, waiters, and the subordinate staff assigned to various tasks and cleaning, who are truly excellent. In short, given the fairly affordable prices of the packages offered for the weekend and for the Immaculate Conception long weekend, overall it was a pleasant mini-vacation, some for two or some for three days spread over half-board. This would encourage us to return for short periods, if only because you need a car to get to the center of Agropoli or the neighboring villages such as Santa Maria di Castellabbate, or Paestum, Capaccio, etc., in the heart of Cilento.

02/05/2026: I'm changing my review from 4 to 2 stars. Quality has dropped dramatically over the years. The portions are paltry, but they're still charged like they used to. Looking at photos from previous years and today's dishes, there's nothing similar. The house appetizer was paltry. I remember there were hot and cold dishes, but now it's just 2 shellfish, a bit of seafood salad, and the usual black rice that's left on the plate (€18). The first courses are seafood, but the seafood was still seafood-based (€14/16). The fried food was good, but 2 prawns, a handful of calamari, and a few anchovies were lost on the plate (€16). I'm so sorry. I hope they go back to the way they were back when we used to travel 100km to eat there.
