27/09/2025: The restaurant was empty (I now understand why), and we still waited over 40 minutes for our food. The portions were small and greasy (see picture). The indifferent service and I are no longer friends. However, the smell of pizza from the restaurant next door enhanced our visit, hence +1 star. And then the €49 bill, which left us with no fullness... Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
27/08/2025: A place to absolutely avoid in Cetara is the La Cianciola restaurant.
The first courses are sparse and flavorless, and the wait staff (one person) is very willing but unprofessional; it's unreasonable to pay €22 for two roasted octopus tentacles.
Our culinary experience in Cetara will definitely continue, but not at this place.

20/09/2025: A generous cuoppo, light and tasty fried food.
There are tables outside for dining. The location could use a refresh, but overall, it was a positive experience.
18/08/2025: Unfortunately, I have to report a terrible experience at your restaurant. I ordered fried fish, which turned out to be of poor quality, with an unpleasant flavor, a strong smell of used oil, and a texture that suggested it was not fresh. The dish was completely out of line with the price paid, which I consider excessive for what was served.
When I reported it, I received a rude and impolite response from the owner, which further degraded the evening.
I'm sorry to have to leave this kind of comment, but I think it's right to highlight such a negative experience out of respect for the customers.
I think they can close down!

23/08/2025: A family-run guesthouse. Nothing is missing. Above all, I appreciated the courtesy and care they showed for my allergies.
20/08/2025: Palinuro is beautiful, worth a visit. Speaking of the structure, the rooms are poor, the bathrooms are not maintained, there is no mini fridge, the mattress is more comfortable than the one on the beach, for those with leg problems there is no adequate service.

29/08/2025: We went last night to eat ice cream.... waitress who doesn't speak Italian, after 15 minutes of word of mouth someone deigns to ask us what flavors we had chosen.... never mind that the person who served us didn't even know the flavors they had.... at 9.30pm they didn't even have change for 20 euros and we had to pay by debit card... disappointed, luckily we didn't have a stomach ache given how the ice cream tubs were placed, some had water in them!!
26/08/2025: Excellent service and excellent food quality, always a guarantee at Simposium, I've been coming here for years and always leave happy and satisfied, I highly recommend it!

14/08/2025: AVOID AVOID AVOID!
I did not think it would be possible to eat bad pasta in Italy but it happend ,in this place!Waited for 30+ minutes(there were only 2 tables sitting)for pasta carbonara,that was less than al dente,NOT HAVING ANY TASTE AT ALL!Cars were passing next to the table.Just horrible!

12/10/2025: Pasta was PERFECTLY done al dente and the views were spectacular. Very local seafood restaurant on the coast. The waiter brought over the daily catch and had a few recommendations, that were all very simple, but very flavorful. Our table of 4 all got different pasta and fish dishes for a lunch and they were all delicious. Pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend and would definitely go back! Grazie Mille!
26/09/2025: Terrible- overpriced and not good. Eat somewhere else. ordered a green salad and they gave us iceberg lettuce with a dry lemon and no dressing. Fish noodles were oily and undercooked and had a tiny piece of fish- maybe like two bites worth. Pizza was okay but oily- bad for Italy. Spaghetti was also undercooked. Consistently bad- tourist prices. Slightly cheaper than in Amalfi but ridiculous for how bad the quality was When we asked the guy about the salad he said that’s the green salad. Waste of money.

27/03/2025: Ich habe die Tagliatelle mit Bolognese und meine Frau die Sardinen und gegrilltes Gemüse gegessen!
Essen war top... Nudeln hätten ein wenig mehr al dente sein können, die Sardinen, sehr klein aber sehr gut, Gemüse top!
Portionen waren im Gegensatz zu anderen Lokalitäten sehr gut.
Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich, der Hauswein ging so
25/03/2025: Tuvimos una cena muy sabrosa hasta el punto de que regresamos en nuestra última noche en Amalfi para terminar la semana en nuestro restaurante favorito.
Fuera de la calle principal subir varios escalones, pero vale la pena subir.
Ambiente acogedor, personal amable y comida excelente

Inedible dish. We ordered seafood pasta with shrimp in sauce: very salty taste, unpleasant odor... The seafood was clearly not fresh. If you want to get sick, this is the place to go.
Service-wise, a huge disappointment. When we arrived, we were the only customers in the restaurant, but the waiter was rude and impatient.
He stood right behind us, staring at us for several minutes, nervously tapping on a neighboring table and making noise with his pen to push us to order faster.
We found this behavior extremely uncomfortable and disrespectful.
They don't take the time for strangers.
Very disappointed by this experience, especially for a restaurant with high prices: we expected decent service and quality products, but that wasn't the case. A very bad experience; I had chosen this restaurant for my birthday. This will remain etched in my memory and not for good memories...
