01/04/2024: I ordered the spaghetti with seafood (frutti di mare) dish. It had a really delicate sauce that didn’t overpower the seafood. A generous amount of mussels and clams that was perfectly cooked. So delicious! The bread on the side was also light and there was a generous portion. The Margherita pizza at the next table also looked delicious but it would have been impolite to ask for a slice. Try this place if are you in the Lungomare area! Nice outdoor seating area.

02/04/2024: I was there yesterday, a very welcoming place even though it was Easter Monday and there were a lot of people, we ate divinely, I recommend the excellent fish first courses, homemade and very good land appetizers, it's impossible not to do the famous slipper with bread.... very nice and very friendly owner kind we will definitely return with the whole family.

07/04/2024: Terrible service. Waiter kept rushing to order food, and we didn’t finish the first beer. 5 minutes in the place he asked 3 times if we want food. We’re hungry but can’t he wait? edit: they replied saying that we didn’t wanted to pay the beer, wrong. We didn’t want to pay the service because the service didn’t exist. Ask someone to translate you dumb. They said we sat down just to go to the bathroom, no we wanted to eat, but can’t we drink first? And the waiter kept gossiping about us. We’re from brazil we understand a little italian you stupid.

07/04/2024: Garbadge service. Was asked to order 4 or 5 times in the first 10 minutes there, food was mediocre at best, toilet discusting and in need of maintenance. Just don't go.

16/03/2024: Reliable Neapolitan cuisine address. The rainy evening left all the humidity possible on the traveler. The restaurateur of the Manfredi refuge in Chiaia took care of refreshing the body and spirit, bringing to the table four spacious cod meatballs, superbly dipped in a very tasty sauce. Next, the Genoese, made with all the trappings that allow this dish to excel here in Naples. The fragrance and crunchiness of the bread meant that the shoe eliminated any residue of the meatball sauce from the plate. The sparkling white wine handled both courses well. Friendly, friendly and efficient service. Correct account. Well done, we'll be back.

07/04/2024: TLDR: food is great but some of the business practices are not very friendly to the customer Firstly, it is pretty clearly shown that they charge a fifteen percent service fee which is the only restaurant in our time in all of Italy that did this and we had gone to some higher end places. However, when I did the math on the bill, we were charged almost 17%, it was rounded up from 48.2euros to 49 euros. While it doesn’t seem significant, if they round up on all the tables, that’s a lot of money in a day. Also when we sat down, they asked us what we wanted to drink and when we didn’t answer right away, he immediately brought and opened a bottle of water and placed it down like we had ordered it (and of course charged us for it) As for the food, the meatballs were fantastic and the pasta was cooked perfectly. At least the bread was free so we used that for our ricotta and tomato jam which was very tasty.

02/03/2024: It's not the first time I've eaten at Al Poeta, my family and I have been frequenting the restaurant in the Posillipo area for years. Today we had lunch for two and the bill seemed excessive for 1 starter (pan-fried artichokes), 1 first course (spaghetti with octopus), 1 dessert (chocolate mousse), 1 bottle of water, half a bottle of Falanghina wine and a turbot for 2 people. The fish is fresh but overall the value for money seems disproportionate to me
