04/04/2024: On Easter Monday, wandering around the center of Naples, we stumbled upon this excellent restaurant by pure chance where we tasted exceptionally prepared dishes and paid a fair bill without exaggerations due to the holidays, the place and tourism. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

06/05/2024: I’m not sure if it was xenophobia or not, but my American partner and I felt a bit shunned by the staff at Al Poeta. When we entered the restaurant, we waited at the front for more than five minutes as waiters passed by without addressing us. They seated us outside, though 99.9% of Italian customers were enjoying their food inside the warm restaurant. At the end, when it came time to pay, we stood again at the cashier for three to four minutes in front of a staff member who did not look up at us. Upon looking at our receipt, we realized that we were charged for items we did not order. We assume that while this restaurant might be great for Italian diners, it’s not the most welcoming for foreigners. The one positive attribute was our chocolate mousse for dessert, which was delicious.

04/04/2024: One positive point is for the service... It was actual very friendly. The food was very disappointing... Just not good. Does not worth to spend your dinner there. Sorry but I recomend to skip on this one. There is plenty of good food in Napoli but I couldn't find it at this place.

31/03/2024: I decided to visit this establishment because the rating was quite good. The service is really good, but the food is so-so. The seafood in the pasta was clearly defrosted and not very tasty.

05/04/2024: Coperto 2.5€ but you can sit much more quietly in a nice side street. The service was quick and courteous. The tiramisu was very, very tasty. The other dishes were also beautifully prepared and the price-performance ratio was good. The toilet was very tidy when I visited.

07/02/2024: It's fun and delicious. If you ask me to recommend an Italian restaurant, I would recommend this one without hesitation. A meal filled with Italy in a positive sense. If you want more than just a meal, but more enjoyable memories, this is the best place. I don't remember the name exactly, but that pizza, I think it was Pomodoro, was delicious. I think Koreans will like it, so I hope you try it.

15/02/2024: Cena di San Valentino in questa ristopescheria di Soccavo. Non potevamo scegliere di meglio. Antipasti vari e saporiti. Menzione speciale per l'involtino di gamberi e melanzane, strabuono. Abbiamo preso anche dei crudi: tartare di salmone e gamberi di Mazara davvero buonissimi. Ottimi i primi piatti e la frittura di gamberi, calamari e alici. In definitiva, rapporto qualità-prezzo eccezionale, ci torneremo sicuramente.

14/01/2024: Ottimo servizio, si mangia veramente bene ed il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. Se visiti il ​​Bosco o il museo non puoi sbagliare concludendo la tua visita con il pranzo qui.

10/12/2023: Di fronte al museo di Capodimonte; dunque comodo prima o dopo la visita al museo. C’è scritto “nuova gestione” e in effetti credo che ci siano stati notevoli miglioramenti (viste alcune vecchie recensioni). Ristorante accogliente e pulito. Ottima pasta alla genovese e pasta e patate. Fuori menu salsiccia e friarielli: molto buona anche quella. Prezzi bassi (data anche l’ubicazione). Molto consigliato.

27/03/2024: Located in the alley adjacent to the Mercadante Theater and a stone's throw (in the true sense of the word) from Piazza Municipio, A Taverna Do Rè fully reflects its name! In fact, the welcoming venue looks like a real traditional Neapolitan tavern, with its home-made colors and scents. The structure is on two levels plus an outdoor space, ideal for a characteristic lunch in the "Neapolitan alley" illuminated by the Neapolitan sun. The lower room is characterized by the presence of the pizza oven, a warm and engaging environment. The proximity to the pizza counter and the oven creates a perfect symbiosis with the pizza chef Luciano, a true dough professional who "accommodates" your tastes with love and passion. You are sitting at the table waiting for the pizza, experiencing the same wait as participation in the preparation: the disk of dough that turns and rolls out before your eyes, the always fresh ingredients cut on the spot and the scent that emanates from the oven. The pizza is excellent, with light dough and high quality products that are always fresh. Also worth trying are the panuozzi and the padellino, which is a crunchy pizza to be filled as you prefer, characterized by being cooked twice in the oven. The upper room, however, is more reserved but at the same time "engaging". 06/04/2024: We returned for the second time to this historic restaurant in the heart of NAPLES, and now there is the need to say that once again we were pleasantly impressed...in fact the level rises...especially when we take the flowers of stuffed pumpkin, exceptional..delicate and above all really good...then we ordered a fettuccine with octopus Luciana style...to say the least...: MOVING..SPACE...and not to mention the octopus on a bed of potatoes with rosemary....: PERFECT BALANCE... even the mozzarella was well fried and very tasty... all accompanied by a bottle of pine gray which enhanced all the dishes... average prices for those who want to eat at a good level ..very particular and engaging atmosphere...we met the owners..three brothers who love NEAPOLITAN cuisine...without distorting traditions...really good...and above all thank you...recommended to everyone...pe For those who won't go...thank you

01/04/2024: The good thing is that it has kind, efficient and friendly waiters, but you come to eat the pizza and this is to be rejected because it has a poorly leavened dough, in our group we had poor digestion, abdominal swelling, pain several hours after the pizza. They probably use chemical junk for quick leavening, never again. We are the Altamura group, which is sold to eat on Easter Monday, come to us to learn the art of leavening, to bake pizzas in ribbons, they are all good....

11/05/2024: i ALWAYS leave a tip to the restaurant after a meal/drink - ive been working in gastronomie for 10 years but yesterday evening i couldnt bring myself to do it. maybe our waiters had a bad day, maybe too tired, maybe stressed with tourists but i have never experienced such a rude and disrespectful waiter. he ignored us for 10 minutes, when he took the order he barely looked at us. i had the feeling him and his colleuge were laughing about us, but i cant be sure as i dont speak italien. he barely said a full sentence to us for the whole sitting until the very end when he brought us the check and told us that we can leave a tip if we would like to. i almost did in the moment but im happy i didnt. pizza was great and the rest of the food we ordered was great but we left feeling like we annoyed them all just by wanting to try a well known restaurant. dont hate tourists. it will be someone like me swrving you your food when you go on holidays and i would never treat you differently for that!

Superlative cod! Among the best I've ever tasted!
