02/08/2026: A very pleasant experience. The place has air conditioning and lovely decor, and it's next to a very nice ceramics shop. They let us charge our phones, the service was good, and the food was delicious. I recommend it.

19/07/2026: The food was absolutely terrible. The pasta and ravioli were rough and tasted like they had been microwaved and then drowned in sauce. The restaurant was completely empty, so the staff had the time and resources to prepare the food well. However, for the price we paid, it was an extremely disappointing experience. I could have made Chef Boyardee’s can of pasta and made it myself, and it would have tasted much better.

12/06/2026: It's catastrophic. As soon as we arrive, they make us pay for the boat shuttle, the sun loungers, the umbrellas, everything, before we've even sat down at the table. The restaurant is decent and the service is pleasant, but the management only cares about money. The sun loungers aren't worth the asking price, and the man at the entrance is rude: you have to prove you've paid by any means necessary, otherwise he'll block everyone. In short, there are too many beautiful places here to choose to go there.

06/06/2026: I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment regarding the way this beach is managed. While the sea in Capri is undeniably beautiful and should be accessible to everyone, my experience here was frustrating, to say the least. The only "free" beach nearby is essentially an inaccessible pile of rocks, making it dangerous and practically impossible to enjoy. Meanwhile, the only usable area is controlled by this establishment, which demands a ridiculous €55 fee just to access the water. It is completely unacceptable to restrict public access to the sea in this way. I understand charging for sunbeds or amenities, but making people pay such an exorbitant amount just to step on the beach and swim in the Mediterranean is unethical and goes against the principle that the sea is a public good. I felt cheated and unwelcome. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a fair and accessible experience to look elsewhere. Avoid this place if you value your rights and your money.

16/03/2026: La Canzone del Mare at Marina Piccola is the classic Capri beach club lunch experience and it has been since Gracie Fields founded it in the 1930s. The terraces step down to the water with the Faraglioni rocks framing the view and the combination of that setting, fresh seafood, and cold white wine on a summer afternoon is one of the great pleasures available to anyone with the good fortune to be on this island. The food is Caprese at its honest best — fresh pasta, grilled fish from the morning catch, insalata caprese with tomatoes that actually taste like tomatoes. The anchovies, the calamari, the linguine alle vongole — all done correctly and served with the unhurried ease of a place that knows you are not in a rush because nobody with a view like this should ever be in a rush. Come by boat if you can, order the seafood, drink the local wine, and stay as long as possible. La Canzone del Mare is the soul of Capri in a single afternoon.

23/07/2026: Amazing food and service. The cook and the waiter were lovely and even though I’ve arrived really late they were more than happy to cook for me. Lovely people and experience. An authentic Italian Trattoria.

18/07/2026: Restaurant with very friendly people but a few drawbacks. They only accept cash. €2 per person/cover charge Tap water pitcher €4 1 glass of draft Coca-Cola €5 If there are four of you, you'll already be at €32 before you've even started eating. That said, the service is very good, but they should advertise the prices. This isn't allowed in other countries.

05/04/2026: Two stars: one for the sea view, the other for the friendliness of the waiters. Everything else was terrible: I had a caprese salad for a whopping €16, which didn't even include a single whole mozzarella, just three slices of truly poor quality. I was very disappointed, as I expected much better from a Mediterranean place so close to Naples. My boyfriend, on the other hand, had a Margherita pizza (choosing from the only 6/7 pizzas on the menu). He received a watered-down pizza, lacking flavor, and made with low-quality ingredients. It's the perfect place to fool poor foreign tourists (obviously not in economic terms, since the prices are very high anyway) who have no idea what true, good Italian cuisine is. The quality-price ratio, as you may have already guessed, is TERRIBLE. A ruined and wasted lunch.

22/03/2026: Amazing margarita pizza and lemon sauce pasta from this very beautiful restaurant. The service was really good . Gnocchi with tomato , garlic and aubergine was fantastic . Overall a very good experience !!!

05/07/2026: We had a very concerning experience with La Fontelina regarding their €400 no-show fee. Our guests had a confirmed reservation, arrived, and had lunch, yet our card was still charged as a “no-show.” When we contacted the restaurant, they initially claimed we never arrived and then became unresponsive. It was only after returning in person with proof of the visit that the charge was reversed. Be aware that if you leave the island, it can be extremely difficult to resolve issues, as they may not respond to calls or emails. I strongly recommend checking your bill carefully and keeping all receipts when visiting. If you put down your card when making a reservation, make sure to do so with a credit card that has good claim back and insurance. This restaurant will for sure try to squeeze every dollar out of you.

30/06/2026: The worst pizza I've ever eaten!!! We went there with the little ones after seeing Toy Story 5 and I have to admit that it immediately ruined our evening!!!!! Inedible pizza. My daughter's Margherita without mozzarella arrived raw and like a cookie, without even considering the fact that the tomato sauce was sour... my Diavola was worse than a cookie and the chips were covered in salt, and to top it off, the pistachio and myrtle chips were so hard you could only taste the pistachio grains that they were as hard as rocks. Highly not recommended.

28/06/2026: I had dinner at RossoPomodoro al Vulcano Buono in Nola, and the experience was overall decent. The staff was really kind, helpful, and quick with their service—something I really appreciated and that makes the experience enjoyable. As for the pizza, however, I expected something more. It's a classic Neapolitan pizza, good but average, with no particular characteristics that distinguish it from many other pizzerias. The ingredients are decent and the dough is well-made, but overall, it didn't leave a lasting impression that would make me say, "I have to go back for that pizza." The only real point that didn't convince me was the quality-price ratio. For three people, we spent almost €60, including pizzas, a portion of fries, and a few drinks. Considering that the pizza is good but not exceptional, the bill seemed a bit high for the overall experience. In summary: a well-organized place, efficient service, and very friendly staff. If you're looking for a no-frills pizza, it might be okay, but I personally think the price is a little higher than what's on offer.

16/05/2026: We ordered pizza at the restaurant. The Pizza Funghi was swimming in oil and inedible. Despite this, we had to pay full price. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

07/03/2026: The food, service, and atmosphere were terrible. It was cold inside, and we were offered a choice of dishes, including some rather nauseating fried fish. The portions were tiny (when we asked for second helpings of fries, they were almost counted), and the fish seemed almost raw. The staff was almost always rude. This was definitely an experience we wouldn't repeat. It's worth noting that we were kids on a school trip who had to spend the entire afternoon walking.

07/03/2026: Had the margarita pizza. Pretty large portion for only $8. Taste was about what you would expect. Would have it again!

03/06/2026: The pizzas arrived almost instantly, which was impressive. Unfortunately, everything else seemed to be participating in a different event. The fries we ordered never showed up. The salad arrived whenever it felt like it. The drinks didn’t arrive at all until we reminded the staff that beverages are usually part of a restaurant experience. Then came the highlight of the evening. After asking about our drinks, a waiter disappeared, returned a few minutes later, and informed us that they didn’t actually have what we ordered. Fair enough. So I ordered a peach iced tea instead. A few minutes later, I was proudly presented with a lemon iced tea. At this point I realized that ordering here is more of a suggestion than an actual request. Communication throughout the evening was completely nonexistent. Nobody seemed to know what was happening, including the people working there. But the grand finale was truly special. When we asked to take our leftover pizza home, the staff generously placed an empty cardboard box on our table and let us pack everything ourselves. Thank you for the interactive dining experience. I always dreamed of working in a pizzeria after paying for dinner. Overall, the food was okay, but the service was so spectacularly bad that it became entertaining. If you’re looking for a restaurant where every order is a surprise and every interaction feels like a social experiment, this is the place for you. One star for the pizza. The rest belongs in a comedy show. 😂😂😂😂🍕

02/06/2026: The place and staff were ok... the food left much to be desired, we had a Genovese that tasted like it was pickled in oil, the salad was tasteless... there were 4 of us and we ate in batches every 20 minutes.

21/04/2026: Beautiful sea... the most beautiful on the Sorrento Peninsula, with a view of Capri. A wild-style beach, in fact, to get there you have to walk a bit through nature, but it's worth it. The on-site restaurant offers good value and excellent cuisine.

30/06/2026: This is one of my must-visits every time I come to Ischia. The food is delicious and the ingredients are very fresh (especially the fish). We usually have fish or seafood, but have also tried the lemon spaghetti as a primo and the meat with porcini mushrooms as a main, all of which were very tasty. The family who runs the restaurant is very friendly, and it's always a pleasure to see them.
