03/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and had a truly wonderful meal. Beyond our expectations, given that the location isn't directly on the sea, we ate incredibly fresh fish, beautifully cooked, and some original dishes. For the first time, we ate the delicious anchovies parmigiana. We'll be back as soon as we can. The restaurant manager is knowledgeable and extremely kind.

31/08/2025: A red pizza with sausage and potatoes, without mozzarella, and a vegetarian pizza for the same price seem exaggerated to me. The vegetarian pizza had bland, tasteless vegetables, not to mention the limp French fries, which were definitely not made fresh. The dough was good, but the rest was a disappointment.

21/12/2025: Terrible experience. The location is run-down, the atmosphere is gloomy, and the cleanliness is extremely poor: from the bathrooms to the table service. There was a visible layer of dust under the placemats, a sign of total neglect. The decor is dated and outdated, lacking any charm. The food was disappointing: the dishes were excessively greasy and of poor quality. The bill also seemed unjustified for the quality, with prices significantly overpriced. Chaos and disorder reigned supreme. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant; there are many others that are truly worth it.

22/02/2026: Here's the updated version with all the points you mentioned: ⸻ I went to this restaurant for lunch today, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely negative in almost every way. The only real positive is the location: it's undoubtedly beautiful, with a splendid view of the sea that creates a pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciate the fact that they cater to gluten-free options: they had both pasta and bread available, and they were attentive to this. Otherwise, however, the experience was very disappointing. We waited three hours for our first course, a simply unacceptable amount of time, especially without clear explanations or adequate apologies. During the wait, the service was virtually nonexistent: we didn't feel welcomed or cared for. The staff was clearly insufficient, both in number and in managing the room, and they also had a lackluster approach to the customer. The lack of organization was evident even in the most basic aspects: when we were welcomed, we weren't even served water, and we had to ask several times just to get it. Generally, we had to repeatedly call the staff for any need. We requested the "Lucullo" appetizer, but they mixed it up and brought it to us as if we'd ordered the tasting menu, which we hadn't. This mistake demonstrates a lack of attention and poor internal communication. Furthermore, the first courses weren't served all at once: we ate in staggered intervals, with some people at the table already finished while others were still waiting. It was an unpleasant and unprofessional situation. Many people around us were complaining about the incredibly long wait; several customers even got up and left before receiving their dishes, tired of waiting. As for the food, it wasn't poor quality, but it wasn't particularly exciting either. Given the interminable wait and the general disorganization, it's definitely not worth it. A lunch that should have been a pleasant experience turned into a stressful experience. I'm sorry to say this, but I can't recommend this restaurant at this time: the beautiful sea view alone isn't enough to make up for such poor service and inefficient organization.

22/02/2026: Stunning location: face to face with the sea! The quality of the ingredients is questionable, and the dishes are overly improvised. It's impossible to accommodate guests with food intolerances or even just different tastes. Dishes are not changed! Even though we were told otherwise when booking. Completing the review is the lack of coordination between the dining room and kitchen staff, and a lot of overcharging... Totally unacceptable wait times.

04/10/2025: Food is not great in flavor and size for the price. Have in mind they charge cutlery but don’t offer a great restaurant service (it was empty when we had dinner) Not worth it 😕

22/09/2025: Lovely restaurant on the edge of Ravello, just a short walk from the nearby parking lot. The restaurant is connected to an art store, and they even serve food on the beautifully designed plates sold there — a nice touch. We visited with a group of eight and were given a table with gorgeous mountain views. Service was friendly and efficient for us, though we noticed a few other groups leave without ordering (not sure why). We ordered pizzas, pasta, and lasagna. The pizzas and pasta were excellent, and while the lasagna portion was a bit small, it was still very tasty. Food arrived quickly, which was great for our group. Overall, a great spot to enjoy a meal before exploring the beautiful town of Ravello.

09/09/2025: The pasta vongole was excellent, the calamari was fine, but we missed a sauce. The ravioli was tasty but not a very large portion. The server was incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. All in all, a delicious and pleasant dining experience.

19/08/2025: The restaurant takes the legacy of the old Marenostrum and reimagines it with more contemporary touches, both in the food plating and the table setting. The food is very good, the prices are a bit above average due to the attention to detail and the particularly romantic location, but the portions are significantly smaller than its predecessor. But everything remains very good. The service is certainly medium-high. Parking is available.

02/01/2026: Last night we ordered two pizzas and a Coke. We called at 8:00 PM with a promise of delivery within half an hour. At 9:00 PM, they called us back because they realized the mortadella was missing and we needed to change pizzas. At 9:30 PM, we called to find out where our pizzas were and were told there was a problem with the deliveries. At that point, we asked why they were giving a fake time rather than a respectable one, but the answer was "I don't know." In conclusion, the pizzas arrived just before 10:00 PM, COMPLETELY FROZEN because they were obviously prepared much earlier and left there waiting for the driver. NEVER AGAIN I'm sorry, but once again, it proves that you don't know how to do your job.

05/03/2026: A great place to enjoy pizza on the seafront. The service was very friendly, especially the waiter, the younger one with glasses, who was very elegant and kind when taking orders! The pizza was very light and tasty, though the drizzle of oil on top was a little less so. The Nerano frittatina was very tasty and crispy. The spritz we had was well-made and flavorful. The prices were typical of seafront restaurants. I don't see any negatives these days, especially in terms of price. We'll definitely be back to try other traditional dishes! 💯

24/10/2025: Bad experience. The appetizer was very poor. I even paid for my daughter, who didn't eat anything, and they didn't even set the table for her. Avoid. The staff was rude. It seemed like they were doing you a favor. Avoid.

25/04/2025: A group of five friends passing through Salerno on their way to Pompeii stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The place is lovely, clean, and the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. The bill was very fair. We were completely satisfied.

13/04/2025: The food was truly poor: the appetizers were soft and oily. The bruschetta was soggy, but the anchovies were good. Various soups with various preparations were all oily. Honorable mention goes to the zucchini flowers, which had a thorn that stuck in the roof of one of the diners' mouths (we didn't know they were fish; no one pointed it out). The first courses were mediocre. Service wasn't excellent: the first lady who approached our table when we asked for information shouted at her colleague (because we asked if certain dishes were suitable for pregnant women) and said, "You see, the ladies here are pregnant!" All in all, in a loud voice, and with the dining room quite full. A nice location overall, but no view. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The price was average.

23/11/2025: I was there this summer. The first time, we had such a great time that we decided to return several times during our stay. Impeccable dishes, attentive service, and the pizza is the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: What an amazing experience we had at this amazing restaurant. It’s a small family restaurant but the food is outstanding. I’d say the best food in the area. The owner, Benito , greeted us with a house spritz and a huge smile…which is rare in most Amalfi coast restaurants 😜. Later on , he gave us some local appetizer filled with cheese and it was wow. We ordered 4 cheeses pizza and sea food pasta that was recommended by his wonderful waiter …and he spoke English…which is a rare thing on the coast as well . Both dishes were so good . I couldn’t stop eating. I couldn’t even imagine that simple dishes can have so many flavors at once. At the end of the, Benito treated us to a house lemonchello and I fell in love with it. It was out of this world. Also we ordered some dessert that was recommended by our waiter as well. Obviously I didn’t ask its name . It was a white shaped dome with pear 🍐 filling inside. It was just wow. Total satisfaction in one meal. I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic Italian homemade meal and an amazing service…which is also very rare up there lol. Enjoy ! Definitely 10 ✨.

31/10/2025: Came here 2 nights out of 3 in town as Carprese salad was best ive had. Calamari was top notch and both pasta dishes fantastic. The tagliolini was home made noodles.
