15/08/2024: We returned after last year's good experience, always during the August holiday. This year, however, everything has turned upside down. In the room the air conditioning only worked partially, because otherwise the electricity meter would trip!!! The first courses arrived after over 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting and the same fate happened to several other families. For the Sorrento gnocchi the sauce was overcooked, almost to the point of burnt. The dining room staff became confused due to the constant complaints of the diners and the table service worsened.

14/08/2024: I've been missing for a few years, unfortunately it's no longer the restaurant it was some time ago, with a sharp decline in dishes, everyone. I'm sorry because it was an icon in the area. I won't be going back again.

01/09/2024: An excellent restaurant very well located in a quiet and extremely pleasant environment with beyond charming staff, an adorable boss and a menu that we like, typically Italian but at the top of the range. Not to mention the top wine cellar from top. In short, go there with your eyes closed, you won't regret it, believe me!!!

27/08/2024: Sea food spaghetti and grilled fish all were good and tasty

04/08/2024: We took 2 pizzas, both badly cooked but above all my wife's was completely raw so only a little of the seasoning was eaten and it was left as it was on the plate. We had a couple in front of us and the lady who had also gotten a pizza did the same, just ate a little toppings and that was it. The most serious thing is that the waiters, despite seeing the plates left full, did not say anything as if it were normal. Not recommended especially because you risk getting sick.

31/07/2024: Locale frequentato sia dalla popolazione locale di agerola sia dai turisti, ci siamo andati su suggerimento dell’host del b&b dove abbiamo alloggiato Principalmente è una pizzeria ma ha anche piatti come pasta o carne Prezzi giusti e buon rapporto qualità prezzo Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene perché siamo tornati anche la seconda sera Arredamento un po’ datato ma ben tenuto e pulito Entrambe sera erano presenti quelli che dedico fossero i figli e i relativi amici dei titolari che erano lì per guardare la partita e cenare,ma è stato molto bello perché era come essere parte della famiglia Non do 5 stelle solo perche il servizio è stato un po approssimativo e andrebbe rivisto l’arredamento Ma nel complesso, se volete mangiare bene ed essere ben accolti lo suggerisco caldamente

30/04/2024: Ci siamo seduti per caso a questo ristorante pizzeria a Marina di Vietri. Staff cordialissimo, abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di pesce (carpaccio di polipo) e una frittura mista. Una pizza e friggitoria varia. La frittura mista era accompagnata da verdure impanate e una favolosa maionese all’aglio. Da precisare che tutto ciò che era fritto era di una leggerezza unica. 27/04/2024: Personale gentile ma il cibo pessimo, crocche freddi e pizza immangiabile, salsa da sapore strano, impasto duro, molto salata, insomma raramente ho mangiato una pizza così.

31/08/2024: Parking is not easy, even during the week... The location is very beautiful, perhaps the best thing, especially if you have the opportunity to sit outside... Stunning view of the Gulf of Pozzuoli. Service willing but very slow, unacceptable. The pizzas turned out quite good, certainly, all of them. Medium-high prices... with exaggerated peaks, see receipt photo In some cases we are almost at Briatore prices... Excellent sweets and at ordinary prices Bah....bittersweet experience Everything needs to be reviewed in various points (prices and above all service)

16/08/2024: Restaurant at the exit of the remains of Pompeii, we had 2 very good pizzas, generous in quantity and at an affordable price (9€ each, +2€ for cutlery, 2.5€ for soft drinks). The setting is very pretty (terrace shaded by climbing ivy, references to the amphitheater next door, pizza oven visible at the back of the restaurant). The very friendly waiters, fluent in English, chased away wasps flying around us. I highly recommend this restaurant!

28/07/2024: At first glance the place was beautiful, the people were welcoming ( also a little bit too persuading), but for me the food that really matters. The portion was too small even for me, who can’t even finish a small pizza alone. For preference I asked for pasta with pesto, which was great but also too pricy for such small quantity. I was with 6 other friends of mine and the service fee in total was 14€ which is 2€ per person. Also be aware of the fact that they make you pay for the bread even though they claimed that it was totally free. Although the the trees were mesmerising however the leaves were constantly falling in the food. We expected more.

19/08/2024: very average pizza and Italian fare.

16/08/2024: The treatment has been terrible, in fact we ordered three things and one never arrived. One of the waiters threw food on us, pushed us as he passed and never apologized for anything. I don't recommend it if you want to go to a nice place where they treat you well. The food was very average and expensive compared to the neighboring restaurants.

20/08/2024: Comment on the restaurant only. Pizza - average, at best Service - painfully slow; took over half an hour to get one pizza. When asked about the order, was told “you order one pizza, others order two, three”. How unprofessional and rude Attitude - See above. Also when asked for drink list, was told there is none, but ask him. When asked for the no -alcoholic drinks, showed his frustration, seemed exasperated being asked for details. Was recommended the place by tour guide. Forgot the old saying of following recommendations of tour guides. Big mistake. One star given for a very average pizza. Zero for everything else. Sure there are other restaurants with better attitude.

18/08/2024: We ate at this restaurant I will try to find positive things to say unfortunately apart from the location I can't find anything positive. We took 2 pizzas as well as a 3-course lemon escalope, bordering on inedible, for a total of €96. Let's not talk about the waiter who served us, who gasps when we ask him for water, a real slap in the face throughout the service. We didn't stay long because we were in a hurry to leave.

13/06/2024: Talvez seja bom durante o dia, à noite não vale a pena. Muito caro para o que oferece, restaurante simplório, longe para quem está em Capri. A comida é saborosa e o restaurante é vazio no jantar.

13/06/2024: A comida do restaurante é maravilhosa, assim como o pão do couvert e sobremesas (tem uma sala com vários tipos a escolher). Porém, os preços são exorbitantes!! Foi o restaurante, que conheci em Capri, mais caro. Fui à noite e, tive a certeza, que só vale a pena ir durante o dia. Como é a beira mar, tem uma vista panorâmica, mas, à noite, não dá para contemplar. Acho que o restaurante, por ser um beach club, tem uma procura muito grande durante o dia, mas à noite, super vazio; deveria compensar nos preços. Além do mais, para quem está hospedado em Capri é bem distante, fica em Ana Capri, não no centro.

08/08/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say that the experience was excellent. We ate very well, the pizza was fantastic, the staff was courteous and always helpful, making us feel at ease from the first moment. A place I will definitely return to and which I highly recommend to anyone looking for good food and a warm welcome.

13/08/2024: We had dinner last night, apart from the very small table, the food had little flavour, including fried fish, pizza and comical grilled squid! The exaggerated bill to dispute!! avoid a joke🙄

07/08/2024: Waiting for more than 2 hours, the main dishes have still not been launched. The manager was in bad faith, disappointed with the restaurant and its welcome.

08/04/2024: Restaurant La Maison Douce in Sorrento. A birthday event; great food, and our waiter, Nello, provided the best service and even invited the restaurant guests and staff to sing a few lines of "happy birthday" that accompanied a special dessert for me and another birthday guest. Arriving here from the US, and to meet such a personable and sincere welcome was such a pleasure.
