Before trying Bacalaria, I wasn't a fan of cod, but the experience has made me reevaluate this ingredient. The menu successfully offers traditional dishes with a more refined and modern twist, without being overbearing. The gluten-free offerings are also very positive: the gluten-free options are varied and carefully curated, with dishes that maintain their flavor and quality without being noticeable compared to traditional versions. A great place for both those who appreciate cod and those who want to discover it in a different way.

We had dinner last night. Very nice place.... nothing to complain about the food and the presentation of the dishes. I'm giving it three stars for two reasons. The first is that in my opinion, to be a restaurateur or in other jobs that deal with the public, you need a bit of empathy (typical of our region) and not cold and elegant courtesy. Secondly, I ate cod with walnuts, honey, and gorgonzola.... I received a plate with two invisible pieces of fish that.... well, I left the table not feeling heavy but.... Honestly, considering how high the bill is, it's just not worth it. Anyway, after having had the experience, I don't think I'll go back. Good.... But I know places where even the highest bill can be swallowed differently with a smile.

My friend and I had an excellent experience at this place. The service is cheerful and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The flavors are amazing! I recommend it and hope to return another time.

A real gem in Naples.
The owner is incredibly kind, the welcome is warm and genuine, and the food is absolutely excellent. Everything is very fresh, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor. The cod, a great Neapolitan specialty, is cooked here like nowhere else: a true delight. An authentic, generous, and soulful place that we wholeheartedly recommend.
We went twice during our stay.
One last recommendation: Don't hesitate to try the Neapolitan cod and the smoked cod.

The food was excellent and full of flavor. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The waiters were very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I highly recommend this place to everyone. And when you visit, make sure to order a glass of the special limoncello from the gentleman with the most experience — it’s truly something unique!

The stewed cod dishes were cooked reasonably well, as were the fried dishes.
On a negative note, the cod and eggplant parmigiana, unfortunately, had almost no noticeable cod flavor.
The asterisks on the menu are carefully placed to indicate the presence of frozen fish:
In my opinion, a "baccaleria" might as well not have any other fish, except fresh seasonal fish when available.
Good wine cellar.
Rather formal but attentive service.
Very nice location, targeting over-50s.
Good value:
for four people, appetizer + main course + wine €35, cover charge €3.00
total €200.00.

Exceptional food and service. We are two architects and we loved the decor. The food is delicious and even inexpensive considering the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. We wholeheartedly recommend it for authentic Neapolitan cuisine. Thank you!
